TOP 5 HIGH PAYING JOBS 💸 NO COLLEGE REQUIRED ❌🎓 - YouTube
Channel: unknown
[0]
so in this video today we're gonna be
[1]
talking about five high-paying jobs that
[3]
do not require any kind of formal
[5]
college education I know a lot of people
[8]
out there are insisting on going to
[10]
college and getting some kind of degree
[12]
but for those of you that are saying you
[13]
know what maybe I don't want to go into
[15]
debt and you know take out student loans
[17]
what are some good options for jobs you
[19]
could get with just a high school
[21]
diploma that's what we're gonna talk
[22]
about in this video the top five jobs
[25]
you can get and at the end we're gonna
[27]
include seven more jobs if you guys are
[29]
looking for more ideas now you'll find
[31]
that a lot of people end up deciding to
[33]
go off and work at a fast-food
[34]
restaurant or they work in retail and I
[38]
honestly want to discourage that because
[39]
that's gonna be a very low paying job
[41]
for yourself and it might take you a
[43]
little bit longer to find a better
[44]
paying job than maybe a $10 an hour job
[47]
working at some fast-food restaurant but
[50]
you know if you do your due diligence
[51]
and research and really spend some time
[53]
looking for high quality jobs it is
[55]
possible to find you know a really good
[57]
quality job just with a high school
[59]
diploma it is gonna take you longer to
[61]
actually get hired at that job but it's
[64]
gonna be worth it when you're able to
[65]
make significantly more money so at all
[67]
costs I would say avoid working either
[70]
fast-food or retail so number one on the
[72]
list is a postal service mail carrier
[75]
their salary is around fifty one
[77]
thousand dollars and that was back in
[79]
2011 so this job probably pays more than
[82]
that does today but if you want to work
[84]
for the Postal Service you don't
[85]
actually need to have any kind of formal
[87]
college education now because this is a
[89]
public sector job you do have to take
[92]
that civil service exam to actually you
[94]
know be eligible for that job but
[96]
there's a lot of postal carriers out
[97]
there that are making over fifty
[99]
thousand dollars per year many of them
[101]
do not have any kind of formal college
[103]
education one thing you might want to
[105]
take note of though is jobs like this
[107]
typically those who do have some kind of
[109]
college education well those people are
[111]
going to take precedence over those who
[113]
do not
[114]
so do consider that if there is somebody
[116]
who applies for that job who has a
[118]
college degree well they're probably
[119]
going to get it just because they have
[121]
skills you know above and beyond what
[123]
you do for that line of duty okay number
[125]
two on the list here is working as a
[127]
correctional officer now this is not
[130]
going to be a glamorous job at all
[132]
you're going to have
[133]
thick-skinned to do this job but it is
[135]
an essential part of our civilized lives
[137]
today and a correctional officer is
[139]
basically in charge of you know prisons
[141]
and people inside them so yes it's going
[144]
to be a dangerous confrontational job
[146]
but as a result it does pay pretty well
[148]
so in 2012 the average correctional
[152]
officer made a salary of around forty
[153]
three thousand five hundred dollars so
[156]
definitely not a bad job there in terms
[158]
of that salary but this is again not a
[160]
job that's going to be for everyone now
[162]
there are both private and public
[163]
prisons in the United States if it's a
[166]
public sector job again you're gonna
[168]
have to take that civil service exam I
[170]
would imagine but if you are looking to
[172]
work for a private prison that might not
[174]
be the case and again those that do have
[176]
a college education of some kind are
[179]
most likely going to take priority when
[181]
getting hired and they're probably going
[182]
to be starting out at a higher pay and a
[185]
better position within that prison okay
[187]
number three on the list is again a very
[189]
important job it's a very important part
[191]
of our civilized lives today and that is
[194]
working as a transportation security
[195]
officer so when you go to the airport
[198]
and you're getting your bags scanned and
[200]
you're getting your boarding pass
[201]
checked you are looking at a
[203]
transportation security officer and
[205]
those jobs actually pay surprisingly
[207]
well so the average transportation
[210]
security officer or TSA employee is
[212]
making around $40,000 and that was back
[215]
in 2016 so it's probably around that
[218]
today but as far as jobs that don't
[220]
require any college education this is
[222]
not a bad gig at all and you're also
[224]
doing something that is you know very
[226]
important and helping protect the safety
[228]
of you know people's lives so it's a
[230]
very important job and a lot of people
[232]
would really be proud to do a job like
[234]
that now number four is not actually a
[236]
job per se but it's more or less an
[238]
opportunity to make money for people
[240]
that are more entrepreneurial so let's
[242]
say you don't have a college education
[243]
but you want to be making you know
[246]
decent money you don't want to be a
[247]
fast-food worker you do have an option
[250]
here of starting a digital marketing
[251]
agency now basically what you would be
[253]
doing is helping small businesses with
[256]
Facebook ads and their social media
[258]
presence
[259]
so obviously yes you're going to need
[261]
some skills above and beyond you know a
[263]
high school education but these days you
[265]
can learn a lot online for free
[267]
there's online courses that will teach
[269]
you digital marketing and so it is a
[271]
really interesting opportunity
[272]
especially for young people and I
[274]
personally know multiple people who have
[276]
digital marketing agencies that are
[277]
making over a hundred thousand dollars
[279]
per year in fact on average when you
[282]
take on a client you're looking at about
[283]
a thousand dollars per month so you only
[285]
need a handful of clients and you're
[287]
gonna be making a significant amount of
[288]
money with your marketing agency now if
[291]
you guys are interested in learning more
[292]
about that I did an interview with Kevin
[294]
David this is exactly what he does is he
[296]
shows people how to start their own
[298]
digital marketing agencies so I'll link
[300]
that video up down in the description
[302]
below if you guys want more information
[304]
on that and then faith and finally on
[306]
our list here we have an air traffic
[307]
controller this is one of the highest
[309]
paying jobs out there at a salary of
[312]
around one hundred twenty two thousand
[314]
dollars
[315]
now while this job does not require a
[316]
formal college education it requires you
[318]
to go through the FAA s air traffic
[320]
collegiate training initiative program
[322]
so you are gonna have to go through
[324]
formal schooling but it is not a college
[326]
degree and it's going to gear you
[328]
specifically for this job now this is
[331]
one of the most stressful jobs that you
[332]
can have is being an air traffic
[334]
controller so personally I would not
[336]
recommend this as your first pick if
[338]
you're just looking to make a lot of
[339]
money but if you are interested in this
[341]
line of work it does pay extremely well
[343]
I know you know over a hundred twenty
[345]
thousand per year on average but anyways
[348]
guys that's gonna wrap up this video
[349]
those are five high paying jobs that
[351]
require no college degree of any kind if
[354]
you guys are looking for more ideas I
[356]
actually have a companion article over
[357]
on my blog which is 12 different ways to
[360]
make you know good money without a
[362]
college education so if you guys are
[363]
looking for basically seven more ideas
[366]
above and beyond this the link for that
[368]
blog article is down in the description
[369]
below but thank you guys so much for
[371]
watching I hope you enjoyed this video
