What it Means to Order Pre-Orders and Out of Stock Items - YouTube

Hey everyone! Welcome to our next installment  of FAQ Friday. My name is Jake I'm the marketing  

manager here at Right Stuf Anime and today I'm  going to let you know about the way our pre-orders  

and out-of-stock items work if you're ordering  in-stock items with them. Just something we get  

asked a lot. Our customer care team gets asked a  lot. We get questions on social media just asking  

"Hey I placed an order when  will everything ship out?"  

Well, the way that our system works is everything  has to be in stock before we ship the items.  

There are certain times throughout the year,  if we have enough time to be able to do it,  

that we'll partial ship orders but it's not  guaranteed. So if you're wanting your order  

to ship out right away, everything  on the order needs to be in stock.  

If you order a pre-order or you order something  that is currently out of stock and we're waiting  

on a reprint, maybe from a publisher or from  just a manufacturer to get some more copies in,  

it will hold up your order until everything comes  in stock. And unfortunately, right now we don't  

have a really good sense of when some of the  reprints or out-of-stock items are going to come  

in. We're doing our best. We are in contact with  all the publishers and manufacturers to try to  

find out when things are going to happen, but with  covid restrictions in some of these places and  

certain facilities working with a reduced  staff in order to ensure social distancing,  

it's becoming harder and harder to know for sure  when something will be reprinted and when we'll  

get it in stock. We get some random time frames  and dates that are all subject to change so there  

are times that we don't even have the information  to pass on to you and if we do have it it's such  

kind of a wide range that giving that information  to you is not really going to be that helpful. So  

when you know if you contact us and you ask  us "Hey when's this going to be reprinted?"  

unfortunately right now, and it didn't always used  to be this way but of course things have changed,  

our honest answer is we just don't know for  sure. So we ask for you to continue to be patient  

we appreciate that patience and we are working  hard. We get shipments in here every day  

and unfortunately, we don't know exactly  what those shipments are going to contain  

until we actually have them in here receive  them and then they let us know or it comes  

back available on the website. So a couple of  things to make life a little bit easier for you  

and for us if it's something that you're  ordering and you want everything to ship out  

maybe place a second order for the out-of-stock  items or pre-order items so that they're not on  

the same order. That's going to make sure that all  your in-stock items do get processed and sent out  

right away. The other thing if something is out  of stock and you don't know when it's going to be  

in stock because we don't know when it's going  to be in stock but you're concerned about it  

you can always click that "notify me by email  when it does come in stock" and that will send  

you an email right away once we do have stock.  Now I want to warn you that because of the way  

some of the shipments are going as soon as we  get things in stock there are times where we do  

not have extras that we're able to ship out to  people and there are times that everybody that  

has signed up for that email notification they  get the email at the exact same time so there's a  

chance that if you do sign up for that and we only  get a handful of copies by the time you are able  

to get over the website and check out that item  somebody else may have picked it up. So really we  

don't charge you if you're ordering using a credit  card or a debit card we don't charge for the order  

until the items are in stock and ready to ship  out to you so it certainly doesn't hurt you to  

go ahead and pre-order that item or order that  out of stock item so that you get in line for it.  

That's going to help us with our ordering process  on how many we actually need to order once  

the reprint does happen and it will of course  kind of ensure you that you will be getting it  

we don't know when but eventually once it  is reprinted we will get you that copy.  

So a few options here for ordering and just  kind of trying to help you understand where  

we're coming from because if you're asking us of  course we want you to reach out to us when you  

have questions or concerns. We're happy to answer  your questions, we just don't want to provide any  

kind of disappointment when we tell you we just  don't know when it's going to be reprinted and  

we just don't know when we're going to have it in  stock. So I hope this helps please if you do have
