AKOYA is a unique light aircraft

Unique in its aesthetics, but especially in its versatility

It is the only aircraft in the world able to land on water, ground and snow

while maintaining exceptional flight performance.

This innovative aircraft is designed and assembled by LISA Airplanes, in Savoie, between lake and mountain.

In 2004, I joined Luc and Benoit, with a common desire to undertake and innovate.

Together with my associates, we have placed a great emphasis on the design, both exterior and interior of our aircraft,

so that they are beautiful, simple, comfortable, and that they give another idea of travelling.

we have developed AKOYA with a young team, mixing talents from different horizons, with creativity and aeronautical expertise

With this team we focus our energies on the real added values, ie: research and development, design and marketing.

For manufacturing, we have built a network of highly qualified industrial partners, mainly in France and Europe.

This scheme allows us to benefit not only from their expertise, their production capacity, but also from a flexible organization.

This is an advantage that will allow us to duplicate our production system to be closer to our main markets.

The AKOYA is different from other seaplanes mainly by the technology we call Seafoils, and that we have patented internationally.

We spent about ten years in research and development to develop and optimize hydrofoils for aviation.

The seafoils have many advantages on the water : they facilitate the piloting and allow a quick takeoff.

They also improve safety by providing a perfect stability on water and a great comfort in the cockpit, even on rough water.

And it is in flight that the Seafoils make the difference on the performances.

Usually other seaplanes have either floats or a fuselage that has a boat hull shape.

These profiles, once in the air are brakes.

It is for this reason that all seaplanes fly slowly, make noise, consume a lot of fuel and have a short range.

The AKOYA is entirely made of carbon fiber.

These materials make it possible to obtain taut lines and therefore a geometry that, combined with the Seafoils,

gives the AKOYA aerodynamic characteristics that are twice as efficient !

The AKOYA is also the fastest aircraft in its category.

It can fly at 250 km/h. Its range is also exceptional: it can fly up to 2000 km away.

The other extremely differentiating element of the AKOYA is the Skis-in technology.

To be able to land on snow, we developed a system of skis directly attached to the wheels of the landing gear.

The skis retract at the same time as the wheels and lodge in the continuity of the fuselage.

This retractable ski system, also patented, is a world first.

These two innovations, associated with folding wings, constitute the exclusive technology that we call "Multi-Access".

The AKOYA can be easily transported in a trailer, stored in a garage or stored on the deck of a yacht.

Because of its unique characteristics on the market, the AKOYA is positioned on the high-end segment.

We sell it for 480.000 €. It targets two main markets :

- On the one hand, aircraft pilots waiting to see, finally, a new machine more modern and versatile.

- And, on the other hand, high-income people wishing to acquire an exceptional machine, and access the world of aviation;

At first we focus on the North American market.

This market is mature, it has more than half of the world's fleet of private planes,

and is very much in demand for new products.

Today we open the capital of LISA for:

- on the one hand, to complete the certification of AKOYA in 2018

- and on the other hand, to launch the production and deliver from 2019 to our first customers, those who have already ordered their AKOYA.

Several perspectives will then be offered to the company that will be in a position to achieve its self-financing:

- Firstly an acceleration of commercial development through an intensive marketing activity.

- Subsequently, a diversification of the range of aircraft with an electric version, and of course

an evolution of the AKOYA to a plane of greater capacity, 6 to 9 seats, always equipped with Multi-Access technology.

These prospects may be financed by the company's revenues, and a new fundraising from 2019.

Technological risks are behind us, industrial issues are under control, and the market is ready.

We therefore propose to invest precisely at the time of take-off of sales and revenues.
