Philadelphia American Life Insurance - Medicare Supplement - YouTube

[0]
I put out a lot of Medicare Supplement videos and particularly, about the
[3]
companies that offer these plans, because I want you to know about each
[6]
one, the pluses, the minuses, the pros and the cons.
[10]
But this video is going to be very exciting for me, because I'm going to
[13]
tell you about one of my favorite companies.
[16]
Probably the best company you may never have even heard of.
[19]
And that's Philadelphia American Life Insurance, or New Era Medicare
[23]
Supplement.
[24]
Now, this company is absolutely outstanding for their low premiums, and
[29]
even lower rate increases.
[31]
So stick around and learn why they're one of the best.
[34]
Now, I did mention Philadelphia American Life Insurance and New Era.
[38]
Well, the parent company is New Era.
[40]
Now, most companies have about three or four different subsidiary companies
[46]
within the family, and Philadelphia American Life Insurance happens to be
[49]
one of those under the New Era umbrella.
[52]
New Era company of the Midwest is another one.
[55]
Now, this company has been around since 1924, and new management took over in
[60]
the late 80s, headed up by one of the most brilliant men in the insurance
[66]
industry.
[66]
And that's Dr. Bill Chen. He's an actuarial expert.
[70]
And Dr. Bill Chen wants to focus his company solely on you, the clients.
[76]
And what does that mean?
[77]
Well, it means they don't pay agents a ot of commission.
[80]
In fact, they're one of the lowest commissions out of all the top companies
[84]
out there, which is why you probably never hear of New Era.
[88]
Agents don't want to write them. They don't get paid as much.
[91]
However, it's not about them, it's about you.
[94]
Now, why specifically else are they such a great company?
[98]
Well, here goes.
[100]
Some of the lowest of premiums, absolutely out of any company out there.
[105]
They also offer a household discount of 6%.
[108]
Even without the discount, they beat almost everybody wherever they are
[112]
offered, and they're offered in various states.
[114]
Quite a few, actually.
[116]
Another thing about Philadelphia American or New Era is the fact that
[121]
they have some of the lowest rate increases out of any company.
[126]
Now, why is that?
[127]
Well, I'll tell you, they don't spend a lot on advertising, if any.
[131]
You never see them anywhere.
[132]
Like I mentioned, they're the best company you'd never heard of.
[135]
So they don't spend a lot on advertising. They keep agents
[139]
commissions really, really low.
[141]
But another thing that keeps their rate increases so low is, if you're turning
[145]
65 or new to Medicare, just getting on Part B Medicare,
[149]
you can choose any Medicare Supplement Plan and company that's out there and
[152]
they have to give you the coverage.
[153]
In other words, you don't answer any medical questions.
[156]
You just sign on the dotted line say, "I want your Plan G or your Plan N," and
[160]
they say, "Welcome aboard."
[162]
If you are somebody out there who doesn't currently have New Era Medicare
[167]
Supplement or Philadelphia American, maybe you've got a different company but
[171]
you're wanting to get their low rates.
[174]
Well, we can certainly apply with them, and we should try.
[177]
You should absolutely let me check the rates for this company because they are
[181]
smoking low, and those low rate increases.
[185]
But if you want to get on with them, they'll say, "Sure."
[187]
Just like any other company, if you are switching from a Medicare Supplement
[190]
Plan to another one, you have to fill out the medical questions on their
[194]
application.
[195]
Here's where this differs, though.
[197]
New Era Philadelphia American only wants some stellar health.
[202]
You've got to have good health, no major medical conditions, depending on what it
[206]
is in the last five years.
[208]
Most companies just go back two years.
[210]
This keeps the group you are in, the risk pool, healthier,
[215]
which means less health claims, hopefully, and it does, which also means
[220]
lower rate increases every year.
[223]
If you haven't had a heart attack or stroke or cancer in the last five years,
[227]
maybe you've got some other--even some small medical conditions, that might be
[231]
okay, we'll check when we talk with you.
[233]
But if you haven't had one of those big items in the last five years,
[237]
and you were on any other company other than Philadelphia American or New Era,
[241]
you should call us right away.
[244]
Because if we can get you on with them and they're available in your state,
[248]
you will not only get some of the lowest premiums out there, but I promise you,
[253]
you will have some of the lowest rate increases.
[255]
Now, in some of my other videos, all of them, actually, I tell you that we go in
[260]
and we shop the rates for our clients every single year.
[262]
There's never a cost for our service.
[264]
We make sure when you do get a rate increase, that you're either still with
[268]
the best option, or we look at some of the other options available.
[271]
Maybe there's something lower.
[273]
I will tell you, 9 times out of 10, I've never even moving anybody from
[277]
Philadelphia American for their Medicare Supplement Plan.
[280]
We just say, "No, you got a nice low rate increase, you're still in the best
[283]
spot."
[284]
That's how good this company is.
[286]
So, give us a call today and I could certainly shop those rates for you.
[290]
Our phone number is 1-888-891-0229.
[295]
And in just a couple minutes, I'll tell you what the quotes are for Philadelphia
[299]
American or New Era.
[300]
Depending on the division they have in your state.
[303]
And hopefully, they're in your state.
[304]
And we'll check the rates against what you're paying now.
[306]
Now, we can do this for any of the Medicare Supplement Plans offered.
[310]
And they carry like most companies, the most popular.
[314]
These are of course, Medicare Plan G, Medicare Plan N and Medicare Plan F as
[319]
well.
[320]
Now, I will tell you, on an average because I've run a lot of quotes and put
[323]
a lot of people with this company.
[325]
From their Plan G rate to their Plan F rate -- that high one.
[328]
And of course, you can only move to their Plan F if you currently have a
[332]
Plan F, and that means if you were on Medicare prior to January 1 of 2020.
[337]
Anybody coming onto Medicare after that, you can't get a Plan F.
[340]
But if you're out there and you kept your Plan F, let me shop the rates.
[344]
If you're dying to keep it, I'll shop New Era's Plan F premiums for you,
[347]
Philadelphia American.
[349]
Also, we should talk about moving you to plan G because the savings is going to
[353]
be at least 30 or 40 dollars less a month in premium.
[357]
Now, with Medicare Supplement Plan G, for those of who might not know what
[361]
that covers.
[362]
It's very simple.
[363]
It covers 100% or pays 100% of the gaps of Medicare Part A and B.
[369]
These are deductibles, co-insurance, co-pays.
[372]
Anything you would have to pay that Medicare Part A and B does not pay, Plan
[377]
G pays that for you, except for one thing, and that is the Medicare Part B
[382]
deductible.
[383]
Plan G, once you pay that deductible, you will get 100% coverage from Medicare
[388]
and the Plan G.
[390]
And Philadelphia American Medicare Supplement Plan G works the same as
[393]
everybody else's, because everybody's got the same Plan G or whatever plan
[397]
letter, and they've got fantastic rates on Plan G.
[401]
Now, there's Plan N as well, which is just like Plan G.
[405]
You pay that Part B deductible, but after that you might have up to a $20
[409]
co-pay per doctor's visits.
[411]
It could be no co-pay, it could be just a little bit but never more than 20.
[415]
It just depends on what you go to the doctor for.
[418]
Another difference on Plan N is if you visit the emergency room, and you're not
[422]
admitted, it'll be a $50 co-pay.
[424]
And then one more difference on Plan N and why those premiums are lower than G
[429]
to the tune of about 25 to 30 dollars a month with Philadelphia American in most
[433]
areas, is that something called Part B Excess Charges are not covered.
[438]
Now, what are those?
[439]
Well, if your doctor doesn't accept the assigned rates for Medicare, meaning
[443]
they charge what Medicare tells them, they could charge up to 15% extra.
[447]
If you go to a doctor that does that, and it's only like 3% of all doctors in
[451]
the country that even do that, you would have to pay a percentage of that
[455]
percentage.
[456]
These are very rare. They almost never come up. I've never spoken to anybody
[459]
that's ever gotten one in over a decade in this business.
[462]
And you would just have a small amount anyway even if you ever saw one.
[466]
But Plan N is fantastic.
[468]
If you're super healthy and you know you just need outstanding coverage,
[471]
Philadelphia American Plan N is absolutely the way to go.
[476]
Your premiums will be the lowest in the country, probably.
[479]
Especially if you can maybe get a household discount, if you've got a
[482]
spouse, we can look at both of the rates for you.
[485]
But also you'll maintain nice low rate increases.
[488]
I put all my relatives in Texas where we're based, and New Era as well,
[492]
they're in Houston, we're based in Austin.
[494]
All of my relatives and friends and family who are in Texas, I'm putting
[497]
with Philadelphia American. That's how good they are.
[500]
And as the years go by, the rate increases come in, I take a look,
[504]
because I'll do that for all my clients.
[507]
And I'm very confident and happy to say you're still in the lowest premiums with
[512]
a great company.
[513]
Let's just stay healthy. And I'll keep watching it every year.
[516]
So once again, let us shop the rates for that.
[519]
I'm happy in just a couple minutes to speak with you.
[521]
But I'm telling you, this is the company.
[523]
I've been doing this a long time.
[525]
I've been a top producer of Medicare Supplements since 2008 actually, when I
[530]
got into this business.
[531]
So I've seen companies come and go and I've seen some rates skyrocket with
[536]
different companies.
[537]
And some people get stuck.
[539]
If you get a major medical condition and you can't move, you're stuck with those
[543]
high rate increases with that company.
[546]
So, I'm encouraging you, especially if you're turning 65.
[550]
And I will put a state list after this video; you'll see the states that
[553]
Medicare, or actually in the description of the video that Philadelphia American
[557]
and New Era are in.
[559]
Believe me, if you see your state on that list, give me a call right away.
[562]
I'll shop those rates for you.
[563]
Again, my phone number is 1-888-891-0229.
[568]
My name is Russell Noga, and I'm the owner of Medisupps.com.
[572]
And I look forward to speaking with you about Philadelphia American Medicare
[575]
Supplement.
[575]
It could be the best decision you ever made.
