Best Day Trading Computer Station for 2021- Day Trading Gaming Set Up - YouTube

Channel: Humbled Trader

[0]
what's up guys in this video we're gonna
[2]
be going over my day trading home
[4]
setup with a pc gaming tower multiple
[7]
displays
[8]
and i'll be breaking down all the text
[10]
bags and the cost
[12]
as well but that's not all it's great to
[15]
have all these really fast executions
[17]
and powerful machines and everything
[19]
else
[19]
but uh i'm an asian grandma getting old
[22]
here from staring at the tape
[24]
and level two all day i need to make
[26]
sure that my eyes
[28]
my legs my knees and especially my back
[31]
is taken care of and i'm able to do that
[34]
today with the help of autonomous
[36]
so i'll be going over both my computer
[38]
and ergonomic setup here
[40]
so you can stay healthy protect your
[42]
eyes and your body while you day trade
[45]
before we start make sure to drop a like
[48]
at the bottom of the video
[49]
to make it rain lamborghinis so that
[52]
starts with my pc gaming tower
[54]
with all these rgb lights because that's
[57]
what all the cool
[58]
kids are doing nowadays and here are the
[61]
tech specs for the tower
[63]
the cpu is intel i5 9600 hexa core
[68]
the gpu is nvidia rtx 2060
[72]
so yeah it's a very fast processor and a
[75]
graphics card
[76]
this build also has 16 gigs of ram 240
[80]
gigs of solid states drive
[82]
and 2 terabytes of standard disk drive
[85]
and it's very unnecessary i know but
[88]
it also has water cooling i will say
[91]
though
[92]
even after all these years of using this
[94]
home
[95]
pc setup and my travel setup if you're
[98]
asking me today
[100]
hey humble trader what exactly does all
[102]
that technical jargon mean
[104]
i will still tell you i have no clue
[107]
especially the the water cooling just
[110]
kidding
[110]
of course i know what they all mean just
[113]
just let me google it first
[116]
you know what they say there are three
[118]
important people
[119]
you want to keep close to in your life a
[122]
good lawyer
[122]
a good accountant and a good husband
[125]
just just kidding
[126]
you just need a good search engine okay
[129]
all bad
[130]
jokes aside i've had this day trading pc
[133]
setup for almost
[134]
two years now and i'm extremely happy
[137]
with the performance speed
[138]
it handles all my charts multiple broker
[141]
platforms
[142]
scanners and my pre-market conference
[144]
calls with my trading chat room
[146]
seamlessly and i've never had any issues
[149]
and guess what i got this extremely
[152]
powerful pc build
[153]
for only hundred us that's an
[157]
amazing deal which is only about fifteen
[160]
hundred
[160]
seventy dollars canadian okay next we
[163]
have my four
[164]
monitors over here these are four lg
[168]
24 inch led monitors with 75 hertz of
[172]
refresh rate
[173]
the colors are really amazing on these
[175]
displays
[177]
but i do feel like they are a little bit
[179]
too small
[180]
these monitors were really cheap i got
[183]
them on sale for 120
[185]
each i think you should be able to get
[187]
them for even cheaper now since they are
[188]
the older models
[190]
the colors are amazing and they were
[191]
great for about six months
[193]
but as i started running more platforms
[196]
and more programs and
[198]
opening more windows brokers i
[200]
definitely want
[201]
bigger screens soon currently i'm
[204]
waiting to upgrade to some 32-inch
[206]
dell 4k monitors i'm just waiting for
[209]
that sale right now
[211]
the way the four monitors are connected
[213]
right now
[214]
is very simple they're connected with
[216]
two hdmi cables
[218]
and two dpi cables that goes directly to
[222]
my graphics card
[223]
the nvidia rtx which has four
[226]
ports so it makes things really simple
[229]
and then
[230]
mounted on this quad monitor mount right
[232]
here
[233]
it's very sturdy i got this from amazon
[236]
for about
[237]
it's shaking right now don't die don't
[239]
die
[243]
i swear it's usually really really
[245]
sturdy
[247]
stay stay the only issue i have with
[251]
this
[251]
monitor mount is that even after years
[254]
of using it it's still
[255]
impossible to align the gaps over here
[260]
like it's always just like slightly off
[262]
you can't have them close
[264]
completely and be straightened
[266]
completely so there's always these gaps
[269]
and offsets
[270]
that's constantly triggering my ocd
[272]
tendencies
[273]
because of this i haven't had a good
[276]
night's sleep in about a year
[278]
now let's talk about the rest of the
[280]
stuff here on my desk
[281]
a very key update i've done recently is
[284]
that finally
[285]
after all these years of trading in
[287]
front of a computer with a
[289]
sore back and a sore neck i finally
[292]
updated to a standing desk and an
[295]
ergonomic
[296]
chair a big thank you to autonomous for
[299]
providing me these products to try
[301]
i was so tired sitting all day in front
[304]
of my trading computer
[305]
as you guys saw in many of my videos i
[308]
sometimes will stand up to stretch
[310]
but if i see a stock popping up or a
[313]
setup
[313]
setting out on my scanners then i'll
[315]
have to bend my back
[317]
to look at what's going on on the
[319]
screens doing that once or twice is fine
[322]
but try doing that ten times a day and
[324]
five days a week
[326]
that's incredibly straining on your body
[328]
the standing desk i'm using right now is
[331]
the smart desk too
[332]
extra large i can now pre-set the desk
[336]
to my usual standing and sitting heights
[338]
over here
[339]
so now i can very easily change things
[341]
up throughout the day
[343]
so my legs my knees and my back can all
[346]
get the balance
[347]
rest they deserve after a full day of
[349]
trading
[350]
and smashing bits visually this standing
[353]
desk is really minimal and very sleek
[356]
now looking in hindsight i kind of wish
[358]
i picked a lighter color
[360]
like the white or the light gray they
[362]
have on the website
[363]
but i think i picked the dark color on
[366]
the surface
[367]
and the legs because i wanted them to
[369]
match the dark circles
[371]
under my eyes besides the standing desk
[374]
i
[374]
also really need a better ergonomic
[377]
chair
[378]
and autonomous matched my standing desk
[380]
with ergo chair
[382]
2. this chair is so comfortable to sit
[385]
in
[385]
it offers a tilt tension mechanism with
[388]
lots of flexible support i can adjust
[391]
the angle
[392]
and height of the seat the armrest and
[395]
even the headrest as well
[397]
and this back mesh material is very
[399]
breathable
[400]
and flexible as well which is perfect
[403]
for the summer
[404]
so now we have the standing desk and an
[406]
ergo chair but as you can see
[408]
my short little feet don't touch the
[411]
ground while i'm sitting on the chair
[413]
even though it's already adjusted to the
[415]
lowest height
[416]
possible so that's why i have underneath
[419]
my desk
[419]
a foot rest this allows my feet to feel
[422]
supported
[423]
and rest comfortably while i'm sitting
[425]
down and working on my computer
[428]
wow i sound really like an old asian
[430]
grandma right now
[432]
now we have our back legs and our feet
[434]
covered
[435]
by the way these are really cute polar
[437]
bear slippers i got from taiwan
[439]
the next part that's also very important
[442]
is my eyes
[443]
have you stared at a level two tape and
[445]
a candlestick chart all day from trading
[448]
and feel extreme eye strain yeah
[451]
i felt that too that's why it's very
[453]
important that i have enough lighting
[456]
around
[456]
the monitors and to make sure there's no
[459]
glare
[460]
so my eyes don't have to work too hard
[462]
this year i have my monitors lit
[464]
up with benq screen bar plus special
[467]
thanks to thank you for sending me
[469]
these lights to try i tried both the
[472]
original screen bar
[473]
and as well as the improved plus version
[476]
over here i can honestly say that this
[478]
benq
[479]
lamp is a game changer before i used to
[482]
have table lamps
[483]
right beside my monitor that would
[485]
create a lot of glare
[487]
on the screen and a lot of clutter
[489]
around the space
[490]
but now i can simply hook the lamp on
[492]
the top of my monitor
[494]
the lamp comes with a really cool
[496]
control dial you can press a button to
[498]
let the light
[499]
automatically adjust to the brightness
[502]
and the color
[503]
with a built-in sensor or i can switch
[506]
to manual mode and adjust the color and
[508]
the brightness myself
[510]
i can even take this lamp off and put it
[512]
on my personal laptop as well
[514]
i really like the benq light screen bar
[517]
plus
[517]
the updated version but the original one
[521]
not so much and yeah so that's why i
[524]
prefer the new one
[525]
what also really helps with my eye
[527]
string are the blue light
[529]
blocker glasses i have on right here
[531]
these are pretty standard you can get
[533]
them almost anywhere nowadays
[535]
i've gotten a lot of compliments on
[537]
these pair of glasses
[538]
i got them from bailey nelson for about
[541]
250 dollars
[543]
canadian i recently updated my keyboard
[546]
and the mouse as well
[547]
i have the logitech mx vertical mouse
[550]
this mouse is great for people with
[552]
tightness on their forearm
[554]
or the wrist from carpal tunnel like i
[556]
mentioned before in my videos
[558]
my right arm is [聽__聽] from my previous
[561]
job
[562]
in film and vfx so that's why using a
[565]
vertical mouse
[566]
really helps me improve my arm muscles
[569]
from feeling sore and really tight
[572]
some other alternative mouse options are
[574]
the original
[575]
logitech mx master for people who have
[578]
normal and healthy arms and the mx ergo
[582]
for those with
[583]
wrist problems who want even more care i
[586]
really like the mx mouse series
[588]
because of the logitech flow this
[591]
program allows me to use the same mouse
[593]
on multiple computers between my pc and
[596]
my macbook
[597]
and i can use a mouse both wireless and
[600]
tethered as well which is a big deal for
[603]
day trading
[604]
this logitech vertical mouse is a little
[606]
bit more expensive though
[608]
it's about 92 dollars us or 120 dollars
[612]
in canada
[613]
finally we can talk about my keyboard
[615]
which is a corsair
[617]
k68 mechanical rgb keyboard while many
[620]
people think the bounces and the sound
[623]
from the mechanical keyboard is annoying
[626]
i actually
[626]
love it i really enjoy the tactile
[629]
feeling and the bounces
[631]
and i like using these much more than
[634]
the keys on my gaming laptop
[636]
as full-time day traders we spend a good
[639]
8 to 12 hours a day in front of our
[641]
computers
[642]
so it's definitely worth the investment
[645]
to look into standing desks
[647]
lights glasses and chairs that will make
[650]
you healthy
[650]
and comfortable as you're trading i'll
[653]
leave all the computer specs
[654]
and all the products i mentioned in the
[657]
description below
[658]
let me know in the comment section below
[660]
what kind of trading computer do you
[662]
have
[663]
are you currently using a standing desk
[665]
or an ergo chair

[669]
eyestrain
