this guy he had been bluffing all night

table earlier um but i had pocket aces

and i went all in i got called by jacks

and 2 3 off suit and um

guy hit a jack on the turn i got knocked

out of the tournament it's very sad but

i was heavily favored to win the hand i

was very proud and uh like i told you

guys this week we're gonna give away an

ethereum um we're gonna appreciate all

uh bitcoin right now is struggling 63

now ethereum also struggling right at 4

obviously ethereum is struggling because

bitcoin is struggling and ethereum and

bitcoin have had this relationship for a

long time that's like

you know when bitcoin moves ethereum is

affected when ethereum moves it rarely

will drag bitcoin along for the ride but

we have seen that happen too a small

handful of times but here's what you

need to know

this could be the most pivotal week for

bitcoin ever for two reasons number one

bitcoin has got to bounce back this week

we need this week to be a very positive

week for bitcoin we need to inch back up

closer to all-time highs we need to get

to 70 000

very quickly if we're gonna see this

thing hit 100k by the end of the year

and some people are throwing out uh you

know 200k by the end of the year you'll

bitcoin you go that high you guys know

thousand dollars by the end of this year

towards getting us to that goal so

that's number one just from a price

perspective we're gonna see bitcoin

really take off and go where it needs to

this is another one of those weeks we

need a green week this week i mean

there's really no question about it but

number two we have something that's

going to change bitcoin forever that is

happening

right now as we speak it is the tap root

upgrade now the last upgrade the bitcoin

had i believe was a 2017 maybe 2018 if i

remember correctly i think it was 2017

though

um segregated witness or segwit uh a way

of sending transactions uh so bitcoin

you have to understand one of the things

that makes it

the

the best coin i guess a good way just a

cheesy way to say it

what makes it number one it's not what

bitcoin can do

it's how bitcoin is set up okay so

there's no other network in crypto

there's no other coin in crypto

where that has a bigger and more secure

network okay that's what gives bitcoin

its power

is the size of its network and so um

when you're looking at

you know

some of the problems bitcoin has like

with speed

you know that's something's gonna have

to be addressed down the road but all

bitcoin's other issues

are going to be i don't want to say

solved but helped by this big upgrade

that's going on right now the taproot

upgrade this is going to this is going

to enhance
[233]
already the most secure crypto in the
[234]
world but it's going to enhance the
[236]
security it's going to enhance the
[238]
scalability which could affect the speed
[240]
a little bit and it was also going to um
[243]
affect the uh let's say scalability uh
[246]
security and privacy so they're
[248]
implementing order called snore
[250]
signatures now don't sleep on me here
[251]
don't go to sleep on me here um but the
[254]
shore signatures and and these are going
[255]
to be a way to make the transactions
[257]
more linear and allow where people can
[259]
send private you know transactions on

bitcoin or at least add more privacy so

these are good things that are going to
[265]
change bitcoin but one of the big
[266]
integrations here is they're gonna be
[268]
making it much easier for
[271]
people to integrate smart contracts with

bitcoin and like i was alluding to

earlier bitcoin and ethereum have this
[277]
relationship

but it's really one-sided because

ethereum does all the work uh bitcoin

just makes the price of ethereum go up

but ethereum is actually innovating

to the level that the bitcoin maxis know

they have to do something so what they
[292]
want to do is build smart contracts on

bitcoin and we know that we already have
[296]
block stacks or stacks the stacks token
[298]
that is already integrating uh some of
[301]
that and uh making it a little bit
[302]
easier to do smart contracts these are
[304]
gonna allow people to bring maybe nfts
[306]
divided bitcoin for the bitcoin maxis
[309]
one now i would tell you that ethereum
[311]
and some of these other projects are way
[313]
too far ahead for bitcoin to catch
[316]
but the fact is this is a big upgrade
[318]
and i was told that you know i didn't
[321]
believe there would really be any price
[323]
activity related to this but there could
[325]
be we could see a very positive momentum
[327]
swing for bitcoin and and you know this

could be a last-ditch effort to kind of
[333]
stave off
[334]
coins from catching bitcoin
[336]
down the road so this week absolutely
[340]
monstrous for bitcoin it's going to
[341]
change bitcoin forever we're having a
[343]
major upgrade part of the reason why
[345]
these upgrades take so long where the
[347]
last one we had was maybe it was early
[349]
2018 but long short it was about three
[351]
years ago

is that
[354]
they take a long time to implement
[355]
because the network is so large
[358]
and it is so secure
[360]
they don't want to change things at a
[361]
whim and i actually think that is one of
[362]
bitcoin's biggest strengths

that you can't just make changes to it

quickly i mean if you look at the
[367]
eip1559
[369]
uh and all the eips we've had throughout
[371]
the years for ethereum i mean we've had
[373]
many of those they come quick they come
[375]
fast they come hard and heavy
[377]
bitcoin's not like that it doesn't have
[379]
multiple updates a year it really has a
[382]
major update every few years and i think
[384]
there is some strength to that i think
[386]
that's what makes it
[387]
better version of digital gold
[390]
as opposed to a project where people
[391]
will be building smart contracts and
[392]
doing like a lot of different things
[394]
with down the road like that stuff can't
[396]
happen but a lot of these other projects
[398]
are too far ahead
[399]
when it comes to investing in something
[400]
as a hedgeable asset you want something
[403]
that is safe and secure
[405]
and nothing is more safe and secure
[408]
than bitcoin so um i think these slow
[412]
upgrades i mean this is the way i think
[413]
satoshi would have wanted it that you
[415]
don't change it on a whim uh last but

not least just want to briefly touch on

all coins for a moment like what do we
[421]
expect to see from all coins we have
[422]
somewhat coins that have been managing
[424]
to pump uh no matter what the market is

doing kadena

um uh helium

uh

not actually infinity was the other one

i'm thinking of has been having a

monstrous week loopering uh these are

some projects that are having monstrous
[438]
weeks and they're going up while

everything else is going down

uh does this bode well for them when

prices do go back up absolutely so you

guys watch kadena it is probably going
[447]
to be a top 25 project or at least close
[449]
to it in the next few months so it's got
[451]
to have several more runs coming um with
[454]
all coins right now with bitcoin and
[456]
ethereum being down
[458]
they're not going to really move other
[459]
than a few outliers like we just talked
[461]
about so you're really going to want to
[463]
watch for uh you know bitcoin movement
[465]
before we can really feel good about all
[467]
coins uh rising back many all coins are
[470]
down quite a few percentage points but
[472]
hopefully that will change in the very
[474]
near future but
