How to make a Premarket Watchlist? Create a Trading Plan for Day Trading Beginners (Part 1) - YouTube
Channel: Humbled Trader
[0]
I'm going to walk you through step by
[2]
step how I creates my pre market watch
[4]
list every single warning and the five
[7]
steps are warning there's no Lambos here
[10]
no getting rich quick and there's no day
[12]
trading secrets that's gonna cost you
[15]
$5,000 I know you must be really
[18]
disappointed now I guess I'll have to
[20]
actually give you real know both
[23]
valuable information on day trading if
[26]
you're a longtime viewer of this channel
[28]
you know I always preach that you plan
[31]
your trades and trade your plan I found
[34]
that in trading while the most important
[36]
aspect is focus it's way too easy to get
[39]
sidetracked by chatroom alerts what
[41]
people are saying on Twitter or stuck to
[43]
it or even an intraday alerts from your
[46]
own momentum scanners and unfortunately
[49]
that's the biggest reason most beginner
[51]
traders blow up their accounts will
[54]
slowly bleed it out with small paper
[56]
cuts I'm saying that because I
[58]
understand I've done exactly just that
[60]
myself nowadays I spent about two hours
[62]
before the market open to prepare for my
[65]
pre market watchlist but don't worry
[68]
this video isn't gonna be two hours I
[70]
have condensed my watch this planning
[73]
process into five simple steps note that
[76]
I said simple but not easy trading is
[79]
never easy but you can increase your
[82]
success rates greatly by having a plan
[85]
and all it's costing you it's a simple
[87]
tap on the like button so the first step
[90]
to creating a watchlist is scanning for
[92]
cappers pre market gap rates our stocks
[95]
have gapped up or gapped down with a
[97]
dramatic percentage overnight
[99]
technically it could be due to earnings
[102]
news clinical trials or other deals and
[105]
agreements and the reason it's so
[107]
important to look for cappers is that
[110]
there's likely to be an immediate
[112]
reaction to the stock in the first two
[115]
hours and as they traders that's exactly
[117]
what we're looking for we're looking for
[119]
momentum volume and volatility there are
[122]
several ways I used to scan for pre
[124]
market Gabor's the first one is with Ben
[127]
Zynga Pro I've already made a video
[129]
showing you my settings how I scan for
[132]
both a small cabin
[133]
large cap cappers using the movers
[135]
module besides Ben Zynga I also used
[138]
trade ideas for the same purpose
[140]
sometimes both of these scanners will
[142]
give me a list of similar results but we
[145]
going over white shoes to use both of
[146]
these scanners specifically in the next
[149]
few steps a third resource I use the
[152]
scam for pre market Gabor's is briefing
[154]
this is a great resource for people who
[157]
trade mid cab and large cap stocks
[159]
briefing is a web-based service that
[162]
provides you live market commentary and
[164]
analysis this tool was extremely helpful
[167]
during the summer months when the small
[169]
cap penny stocks are pretty slow but the
[171]
low floats have been really hot lately
[173]
so I haven't used briefing as much the
[176]
fourth resource I used to scan for gap
[178]
errs is with my execution platform
[181]
that's trader they provides you a list
[183]
of all the pre market gainers every
[185]
single morning they call this the top
[187]
list this feature comes with a platform
[189]
subscription now the fifth way to scan
[192]
for these scammers is finally free to
[194]
use but I personally don't use this
[196]
feature anymore which is the thinkorswim
[199]
pre market scanner this tool isn't that
[201]
ideal because the scanner takes a long
[204]
time to refresh and it's not as fast as
[206]
all the other tools I mentioned earlier
[208]
and as a result I used to miss all sorts
[211]
of pre market movers because the scanner
[214]
was delayed but I mean it's free after
[216]
all and it's a great way for beginner
[218]
traders who get started I go over how to
[221]
say that the scanner mi think will swim
[223]
tutorial video now it doesn't really
[225]
matter how you find your cappers either
[228]
with the five resources I mentioned
[230]
earlier or you got it from a
[231]
subscription email or chat room service
[234]
what's more important is that you do
[236]
your own research on the news catalyst
[238]
which is the second step to creating a
[241]
pre market watchlist because not all
[243]
Gabor's are created equal some news
[246]
headlines were generally more hype and
[248]
follow-through where others are just
[250]
blatant pumps but the key is knowing
[252]
that there is an indeed a published news
[255]
headline and reliable sources like Ben
[257]
Zynga Yahoo Finance or fenves and why is
[261]
a published news headline so important
[263]
if you remember these penny stocks in
[265]
recent years
[266]
i dr ys l fi n and d GOI those stocks
[270]
were actually halted with a t12 Holt
[273]
they're trading on these stocks are put
[275]
on hold by the Nasdaq Stock Exchange for
[278]
several days weeks or even months
[280]
because you haven't smashed the like
[283]
button as always these videos take me 10
[285]
to 12 hours to make that's the time I
[288]
could have spent driving my lambo
[290]
chilling on the beach and making
[292]
millions on the toilet so if you
[294]
wouldn't mind taking one extra second to
[296]
tap the like button I really appreciate
[299]
you my friends and the reason these
[301]
stocks I just mentioned was put on a tee
[303]
to uphold it's because the NASDAQ
[305]
exchange is requiring more information
[309]
from these companies usually that's
[311]
after these low floats penny stocks are
[313]
making 300% 500% or even sometimes a
[317]
thousand percent moves with no valid
[319]
news so the intention of these t12 holds
[323]
by the Nasdaq is to protect investors
[325]
from these companies are potentially
[328]
violating the federal securities laws
[331]
whether that's actually true or not
[333]
we're not gonna get into that today
[335]
and that's why knowing that there's a
[337]
published news headline is so important
[340]
if you were sucking a tea to uphold your
[342]
funds could be tied up for weeks days or
[345]
even months this is not the same as a t5
[348]
volatility holds that usually lasts for
[350]
less than 10 minutes and imagine if you
[353]
were using margin buying power I have a
[355]
friend who assured
[356]
Elfen around $24 before the halt and he
[360]
had to keep on wiring money to the
[362]
broker throughout the next few weeks
[364]
because he was short too big of a
[367]
position and yeah even though lfi own um
[370]
hosted a $7 like six weeks later and he
[373]
made a killing that emotional stress
[376]
over two months was not worth it if you
[379]
want to learn more about all these
[381]
different nasdaq trading holds i'll
[383]
leave a link for you to read more below
[385]
okay so now we've established the
[387]
importance of news it doesn't mean that
[389]
you should just go buy every single
[391]
gapper with news blindly and make quick
[394]
easy money if you're following chatroom
[396]
alerts to buy high of the day break out
[399]
of every single stock that
[401]
that's a headline well I have some
[402]
breaking news for you you see why I did
[405]
there
[405]
you might get dumped on if you do not
[408]
analyze the news so I used three of the
[410]
tools I mentioned earlier for news
[412]
research they are Fingaz spending GoPro
[415]
and briefing using film this is
[417]
perfectly fine to get started but I you
[419]
spend zynga because they are lightning
[421]
fast with their news updates and they
[423]
provide me with the most complete
[425]
information regarding holt above average
[428]
treating volume with no delay and next
[431]
we have briefing which is my news
[433]
resource for mint cap and large cap
[435]
stocks this is where I can check the
[437]
stocks earnings upgrades downgrades and
[440]
other major news resources summarized
[443]
briefly so it saves me so much time just
[445]
like Ben Zynga so after collecting all
[448]
the news headlines we have to analyze it
[451]
generally speaking a categorized all the
[453]
PR into three different categories now
[456]
the true significance of each news
[459]
headline will obviously be different for
[461]
each particular stock and of course
[464]
whether the stock is a smoke a penny
[466]
stock or a mid cap and large cap stock
[468]
that's a real company will also be a
[470]
factor as well the first category is
[473]
positive catalyst this could be
[475]
potential deals good earnings positive
[478]
drug trials potential buyout or global
[481]
trade news that's favoring a specific
[484]
sector for example s o RL was a Gappa
[487]
pre market from a news of a potential
[490]
merger agreement the conversion price
[493]
was going to be four dollars and seventy
[495]
two cents per each common stock which is
[498]
important when you're trading merger
[499]
agreement news yes the catalyst is over
[502]
a positive for the company but unless
[504]
you know the potential transaction price
[507]
and whether that price is significantly
[510]
higher than the previous day closed
[512]
price of the stock that merger news is
[515]
not going to move the second category is
[518]
obviously going to be negative catalyst
[520]
this could be a fallout of a deal
[523]
global economic crisis where the stock
[526]
is issuing an offering we're getting D
[528]
listed by the Nasdaq which we have seen
[530]
happening a lot recently with a smoke a
[533]
penny
[534]
stocks for example SLD be a small cap
[537]
biotechs drug company had one of their
[539]
drugs put on hold by the FDA as a result
[543]
the stock gapped down overnight on
[545]
November 12th and continued selling off
[547]
for the rest of the trading day because
[550]
the news was extremely bearish for the
[552]
stock and for this biotech company
[554]
that's relying on drugs getting approved
[557]
for them to sell in order to generate
[560]
revenue
[561]
now the third category of news is fluff
[563]
news they're actually disguised as
[566]
positive this is extremely important to
[569]
recognize when you're trading small cap
[571]
penny stocks because a lot of these
[573]
companies use really optimistic and
[575]
positive wording in their PR in order to
[579]
pump the share prices up so there are a
[581]
few key words that you can use to
[583]
identify that this PR could potentially
[586]
just be fluff and of course this is a
[588]
general guide only each stock is going
[591]
to be different some really common pump
[593]
keywords are possible deal engagement
[597]
optimistic outlook in the talks and
[600]
potential partnership anything along
[603]
those meanings in the gray area
[605]
suggesting that something could happen
[607]
but there also might not happen it's
[610]
kind of like when you buy a DVD that
[612]
promises you to potentially make a
[615]
million dollars but you might just have
[617]
to lose a hundred thousand dollars to
[620]
get there technically they are not lying
[622]
because your potential is only as big as
[625]
your dreams just like technically it
[627]
could start raining Lamborghinis
[629]
tomorrow theoretically that's possible
[632]
sometimes these news are even a few days
[634]
to a few weeks old and they just
[636]
recycled it and repackaged it as brand
[639]
new just like while my favorite pump
[641]
sucks C a and F here theoretically
[644]
speaking in a perfect world positive
[647]
catalyst means that the stock should go
[649]
higher right and vice versa if the
[652]
catalyst is negative that means the
[654]
stock should dump but unfortunately
[657]
nothing is 100% guaranteed in day
[659]
trading we have seen stocks with blatant
[662]
pump news running 200% 300% and also
[666]
stocks with a may
[667]
earnings selling off the entire gap
[670]
stock Gabor's with news doesn't always
[672]
guarantee the most obvious direction to
[675]
the upside or downside we also need to
[678]
look at the key statistics of a stock
[680]
whether the stock was a recent reverse
[683]
split how its setting up technically on
[685]
a daily chart and using past screen time
[688]
and experience to make educated plans
[691]
and that's the importance of the next
[693]
three steps in part two of this how to
[696]
create a pre market watch this video
[698]
will be putting all five steps together
[701]
I know it sounds hard and I know it
[703]
doesn't sound like you can make a
[704]
million dollars in six months creating a
[707]
trading plan can be simplified into a
[710]
few steps but never easy but again if
[713]
it's too hard and too much work then
[715]
maybe falling chatroom alerts easier
[717]
this video really took me a long time to
[720]
make if you want to see a part two to
[722]
this step-by-step guide into making a
[726]
detailed pre market watchlist let me
[729]
know in the comments down below and
[730]
don't forget to always destroy the like
[733]
button thank you guys so much for
[735]
watching as always and I'll see you guys
[737]
next week
