Addons for Gravity Forms - YouTube

Channel: Kori Ashton - WordPress Wednesdays

[0]
Hey y'all, thanks for finding me here on YouTube
[3]
for another WordPress Wednesday.
[5]
My name is Kori Ashton and, as you know, I have a whole playlist on our YouTube
[10]
channel here. Specifically for Gravity Forms.
[12]
Which is what you see, right here.
[14]
Gravity Forms is a form builder, like a contact form or an application form.
[19]
Whatever type of form. You could even use it for registration.
[23]
You can even use it, honestly, for a shopping cart system
[26]
inside of your website.
[28]
It's pretty amazing, all the things you can do with "Gravity Forms".
[31]
If you're not familiar with this premium plugin, and I call it premium; because,
[34]
it is paid. There is no free version of "Gravity Forms".
[38]
You can pick it up in the link below.
[42]
I have an affiliate link down there.
[43]
I appreciate you using that affiliate link; but, today we're gonna go beyond
[46]
that. I definitely need you to watch the video, though, if you don't know what
[50]
this is.
[51]
I'll put a link to that right here or in the description box below, if you've
[53]
not seen all the impactful things that Gravity Forms can do for you.
[57]
But, today I want to show you 5 additional plugins (or add-ons) that you can get to
[62]
even more so maximize the amazing capabilities of Gravity Forms.
[68]
So, if you've ever wanted some sort of an address auto-complete function inside of
[73]
Gravity Forms, it does not automatically have that feature by default.
[76]
So, there is an add-on that you can go to.
[78]
thecodecanyon.net
[80]
Again, I'll put the link to this in the description box below.
[83]
You can go over here and buy this for $12.
[86]
It's a one time license fee.
[87]
Of course, good for one website.
[89]
This has pretty great reviews, though. Look at this.
[91]
Can't get any better than five stars.
[94]
You've got 15 comments. People are definitely discussing what's going on.
[97]
This is a brand new plugin that's just hit the market that I wanted to share with you.
[101]
Another one that I've mentioned to you before, and I have a complete video on
[105]
using this and styling your Gravity Forms.
[108]
Really styling your Gravity Forms is probably on of the most common
[112]
frustrations I hear from people.
[114]
"You know, I'd like to make it look a little bit more like my theme."
[116]
By default it looks pretty great; but, you can really jazz it up a little bit.
[120]
This styler will allow you to change colors and customize all the fields
[125]
and do some really cool customization for $34.
[128]
But, inside that other video that I made, I also show you some free solutions
[132]
that already exist.
[134]
So, I'll put the link to that video in the description box below, as well.
[137]
But, if you need to go a little further this is a great plugin.
[141]
Another one that's interesting, if you ever need to send text messages out
[144]
to people this is a way to do it.
[146]
You can confirm that they have the right phone number submitted to you.
[149]
before the form ever gets submitted.
[152]
It's a pretty cool plugin. You can see all the different features here.
[155]
Of course, you do have to have some sort of other SMS type of service, like
[161]
Twilio or some of these others are supported, as well.
[164]
If you're looking for a solution like that,
[166]
you can use Gravity Forms. This will do it for you and the additional
[170]
plugin is just $15.
[172]
Again, a one time license fee.
[174]
Alright, the other ones that I found, I actually found from this gal,
[178]
Carrie Dils.
[180]
Right here, "Office Hours FM" is her podcast. I want you to check it out if
[188]
you don't know about this gal, she's amazing when it comes to WordPress
[191]
and when it comes to anything Genesis related. (The framework for WordPress)
[194]
Carrie Dils is your gal to follow.
[196]
She just released out this tweet, so if you don't follow her on Twitter get over
[201]
to Twitter and follow her there.
[204]
She's pulling back from the archives some of her Gravity Forms resources and it
[208]
was perfect timing, so I thought I'd throw them into this video.
[211]
She's using Gravity Forms Utility, which is a free plugin as far as I can tell.
[216]
I've not used it yet; but, the features on it seem pretty darn amazing.
[220]
You just download here. Put in your email address and
[223]
they will send it to you right away
[225]
and you will be able to install this into your Gravity Forms plugin.
[229]
One of the coolest things about it is, it shows which pages your forms are
[233]
embedded on.
[235]
That's always such a pain in the toosh.
[236]
To me this should be a default feature inside of Gravity Forms.
[239]
You never know where you put those forms. Especially if you've got multiple.
[243]
I have about forty different forms on our website.
[246]
So, it's hard to remember where all those forms live.
[249]
That's a pretty cool resource.
[251]
Then there's one where she has (the creator of this) where you can toggle
[255]
all fields to be required or not.
[257]
Which is pretty spectacular.
[259]
So, if you need every single field to be required, you don't have to go into
[264]
each single one and navigate through that mess.
[267]
Anyway, check that one out. I'll put the link to all of these in the
[269]
description box below.
[270]
Another one that Carrie Dils mentioned was one called
[273]
Gravity Perks.
[274]
This again is a premium plugin; but, it's pretty incredible too, you guys.
[278]
There's a "Single License" or an "Unlimited".
[281]
So, this "Unlimited" means you can put it on as many websites as you would like.
[285]
That's kind of nice to have. I have a lot of people ask me that.
[289]
"Can I put it on multiple websites?"
[290]
You always want to look for an "Unlimited" or what they call a
[293]
"Developer License".
[294]
That allows you to use this on as many sites as you possibly can.
[297]
Gravity Perks, in and of itself, it has sorts of options.
[302]
I'm going to scroll down here and see what available perks they have.
[307]
So, some of the ones that I thought were pretty incredible right away were:
[312]
"Limit which dates are selectable for your Gravity Forms date picker"
[315]
Normally, if you allow people to pick a date (maybe for an appointment) they
[319]
just open up a calendar and pick whatever they want.
[322]
This allows you to limit which dates are available.
[324]
So, let's say you're closed on the weekends.
[326]
You can remove those dates from being available for them to pick and choose
[330]
from.
[330]
So, that's pretty great.
[332]
A different way of navigating through multiple pages for your forms.
[336]
So, if you had a little bit of a form and you click "Next Page" and you continue
[340]
to fill out that form, by default, Gravity Form already has that capability.
[344]
This gives you a pretty cool option to allow them to go to different pages
[348]
and set up a different UX.
[350]
(Which means, "User Experience")
[352]
You can read down through here and see all these different things that they allow
[356]
you to do.
[357]
This is kind of cool too.
[358]
You can preview the form before you click the final submission, which is
[361]
again, not a default option inside of Gravity Forms.
[364]
So, that's a really nice feature to have.
[365]
They can reload the form.
[368]
"Conditional Pricing" This is pretty cool too.
[370]
"Create conditional pricing for Gravity Forms for your
[372]
product fields"
[373]
So, when I was talking about using it for a very limited check-out system
[377]
(shopping cart system)
[378]
You can do that.
[379]
So, just read through all this.
[382]
There have been times when people say "Hey, can we add some sort of a terms of
[385]
service or agreement options. A check box to my Gravity Forms? "
[389]
This plugin will allow you to do that, as well.
[392]
So, it's pretty awesome. Be sure look in the description box below.
[397]
Click "Show More" and you'll see all the different link for all of these
[399]
awesome plugins.
[401]
I'll also include the link over to Carrie Dils' Twitter and her Podcast
[406]
"Office Hours FM'.
[408]
You guys, I hope you're having a great one.
[410]
I will see you next WordPress Wednesday.
[412]
Bye, y'all.
