how can you sit on a beach sipping a
[2]
cocktail all the while money is rolling
[4]
into your bank account well it turns out
[6]
this is actually possible with something
[8]
called
[9]
income passive income passive income
[11]
passive income but when millions of
[13]
people are chasing the same dream things
[15]
aren't going to be easy essentially i'm
[17]
broke i don't have any money left i
[20]
filed bankruptcy that's why i've done
[22]
some digging and compiled a list of 5.5
[24]
unique passive income ideas let's talk
[27]
about them hi guys it's mark it's no
[29]
surprise people love the idea of not
[31]
working for money but if that was the
[33]
reality then we'd all be passive income
[36]
millionaires although passive income
[38]
doesn't exist leveraged income does this
[41]
is by far the most effective way to earn
[43]
money long term and has enabled me to
[46]
become a millionaire however it also
[48]
involves various risks upfront
[50]
investments of time and money and plenty
[52]
of good old-fashioned work only highly
[55]
motivated people will succeed at
[56]
creating leveraged income as you first
[58]
need to take a large upfront risk in
[60]
terms of time and or money this is so
[62]
that in the future you're able to earn
[64]
more than others could only dream of
[66]
leveraged income is money you get for
[68]
creating value and value comes from
[71]
solving a problem people have the best
[73]
problems to solve are the ones that
[74]
aren't already flooded with lots of
[76]
people offering the same solution this
[78]
is known as finding blue oceans as red
[81]
ones are full of people tearing each
[83]
other apart competing for the same
[85]
income that's why i've made this list of
[87]
5.5 unique ideas so you have a much
[90]
higher chance of success idea number one
[93]
is spotify playlist this is one on the
[95]
risk scale and two on effort level i
[97]
haven't actually seen anyone mention
[99]
this idea in any other passive income
[101]
video so we're starting off strong but
[104]
what am i talking about well the other
[106]
day i was just flicking through
[107]
instagram stories and i got an ad for a
[110]
playlist i thought the music sounded
[112]
perfect for focused work so i clicked on
[114]
it and downloaded the playlist on
[116]
spotify i then thought nothing more of
[119]
it and went on with my day as normal
[120]
fast forward to the next day and i was
[122]
getting bombarded with different spotify
[124]
playlist ads this is probably because i
[127]
interacted with the first ad and now the
[129]
floodgates were open however i then
[131]
realized the ads weren't being run by
[133]
spotify themselves it was all individual
[136]
people so that got me thinking if people
[138]
are prepared to spend money running ads
[140]
then they must be making a profit from
[143]
owning these playlists so i did a bit of
[145]
digging and it turns out i was correct
[147]
this is a great way to make leveraged
[149]
income especially if you don't have a
[151]
lot of money to begin with you just need
[153]
to spend time putting together a solid
[155]
playlist in a specific genre gain
[158]
followers and figure out a way to make
[160]
money from it there seems to be two main
[162]
ways of doing this i prefer the second
[164]
but you may think differently the first
[166]
way is to charge up and coming artists a
[168]
fee fifa getting featured on your
[170]
playlist when new artists are trying to
[172]
break into the scene they're interested
[174]
in one main thing spotify streams this
[177]
is why an engaged playlist is so
[179]
powerful as once you've built it you can
[182]
supply that artist with a predictable
[184]
amount of monthly streams and charge
[186]
accordingly you can even have a
[187]
different pricing structure depending on
[189]
how close to the top you place their
[191]
song this is certainly achievable and i
[193]
could see you making thousands a month
[195]
doing it however here are the issues
[197]
it's against spotify's terms of service
[200]
and not very passive as you have to be
[202]
in contact with the artist to sell song
[204]
placements the second way is to start a
[206]
patreon an artist can sign up to a
[208]
monthly membership in return for the
[210]
chance to submit their music to your
[212]
playlist this is a lot more passive as
[214]
the money would be coming in
[216]
automatically on a monthly basis and all
[218]
you have to do is review music and
[220]
update the playlist you could easily
[222]
charge five dollars a month and if you
[225]
get 1 000 artists signed up you could be
[227]
making 5 000 per month this way also
[230]
feels less dishonest as you can actually
[232]
pick songs you enjoy rather than taking
[234]
money to put bad music on your playlist
[237]
the best thing of all is that you can
[238]
replicate the process as many times as
[240]
you like and build playlists in lots of
[242]
different genres idea number two is
[245]
getting free crypto you can do this
[247]
every time you trade 10 or more on the
[249]
ftx app no i'm only kidding but i'm not
[252]
joking about and giving you free crypto
[254]
they're actually doing this when you use
[256]
the link below idea number two is
[258]
actually called merch by amazon this is
[260]
one on the risk scout and three on
[262]
effort level one of my friends is a
[264]
reasonable digital artist and has been
[266]
working on many different designs for
[268]
years he thought a good way to turn
[270]
those designs into profit would be to
[271]
sell printed t-shirts so he had
[274]
thousands printed but unfortunately none
[276]
of them sold this was until he took a
[278]
trip to germany and displayed his
[280]
t-shirts at an event one of the designs
[282]
started selling like crazy unfortunately
[285]
he only had a limited supply available
[287]
and was unable to meet the demand as he
[289]
had already invested all his money into
[291]
the stock that wasn't selling if only
[293]
he'd known about merch by amazon as he
[296]
would have saved money up front and
[297]
tested the market a lot faster merch by
[300]
amazon is an on-demand t-shirt printing
[303]
service it allows sellers to create and
[305]
list t-shirt designs on amazon for free
[307]
there are no upfront costs and you get
[309]
paid royalties when a customer buys your
[311]
shirt all you need to do is upload your
[314]
designs choose the colors and set a
[316]
price then amazon will take care of the
[318]
rest just think about it go in a
[320]
traditional route means that if you have
[322]
one design and you want to sell that in
[324]
three colors and four sizes to men and
[327]
women that's 24 shirts if you only do
[330]
one of each if 24 customers call you and
[332]
or want a large male t-shirt in blue you
[335]
can only sell one merch by amazon takes
[337]
care of this for you and also saves you
[339]
from having to go to shows and
[341]
exhibitions to find a market as amazon
[343]
already has a huge one established like
[346]
anything the more effort you put in
[347]
researching customer demand the better
[350]
you'll do just remember to avoid any
[352]
copyrighted content this means you can't
[354]
just start printing t-shirts like this
[356]
without getting permission from disney
[359]
storm pooper idea number three is
[361]
vending machines this is five on the
[363]
risk scout and four on effort level so
[366]
this idea is clearly a lot harder than
[368]
the first two however selector is one of
[370]
the biggest vending machine companies in
[372]
the world and they reported sales of
[374]
over 1 billion in 2021 which was up 3
[377]
percent on 2020. this shows that the
[380]
market is growing and the potential is
[382]
huge before i had my own businesses i
[384]
worked as a carpenter's apprentice and
[386]
can still remember clearly the old
[388]
vending machine in the workshop it cost
[390]
me 10 cents for a cup of coffee a
[393]
bargain it was such a good price that
[395]
the machine was actually losing my boss
[397]
money so he had a bit of a predicament
[399]
on his hands the income wasn't high
[401]
enough to cover maintenance costs the
[403]
machine took time to refill and he
[405]
couldn't raise the prices as the machine
[408]
was so old and no one would have paid
[409]
the extra he was considering not having
[412]
a vending machine but he knew it was
[413]
important for us to have hot drinks
[415]
nearby that's when a young guy he
[417]
couldn't be much older than me walked
[419]
into the warehouse and offered my boss a
[421]
deal he just couldn't turn down he
[423]
offered to install three new vending
[425]
machines in the workshop and promised to
[427]
take care of all maintenance issues and
[429]
restocking as well as giving him a 15
[433]
cut of the revenue so not only could my
[434]
boss please his staff he would also make
[437]
a nice profit the new machines were a
[439]
hit and could justify charge in higher
[441]
prices because of the better quality the
[443]
guy who installed the machines later
[445]
revealed that we were his first
[447]
customers and now he has a huge business
[449]
with machines throughout the state all
[451]
paying him passive income the key to a
[454]
successful vending machine income is to
[456]
find great locations once you've
[458]
identified a few different spots and
[460]
agreed a deal with the owner you can
[462]
then secure a machine that fits the
[464]
customer's needs there are lots of used
[466]
vending machines going for low prices
[468]
online which would be ideal if you're
[470]
just starting out you could even get a
[472]
loan and spread the payments using the
[474]
profits when picking things to put into
[477]
the machines it's a good idea to think
[478]
about the demand in a specific location
[481]
and slowly test out different ideas
[483]
until you have the perfect mix after
[485]
this it's just a case of hiring staff
[487]
and expanding your empire so you're able
[489]
to be as hands-off as possible idea
[491]
number four is sas this is five on the
[494]
risk scale and five on effort level sas
[496]
stands for software as a service the
[499]
beauty of this idea is that they often
[500]
use a subscription-based pricing model
[503]
so instead of a customer paying once for
[505]
your software they pay on an ongoing
[508]
basis this can be monthly or annually
[511]
this is great as it gives you a
[512]
predictable leveraged income each and
[514]
every month and the opportunity for
[516]
explosive non-linear growth my best
[519]
friend decided to go down the sas route
[521]
at the exact time i started selling
[523]
physical products he specialized in
[525]
software that handled data for large
[527]
membership organizations these clients
[530]
would have a hundred thousand plus
[532]
members so keeping track of all that
[533]
data was an issue for them at first he
[536]
decided to sell his software as a
[537]
one-time purchase however he always had
[540]
to search for new customers
[542]
when he made the switch to a
[543]
subscription-based model he increased
[546]
his average customer lifetime value and
[548]
secured reliable leveraged income he
[550]
later went on to sell this business for
[552]
multiple millions in order to achieve
[555]
success like this you first need to pick
[557]
the people your software is going to
[559]
serve there are two main categories
[561]
businesses or consumers serving other
[564]
businesses is often seen as the least
[566]
risky as you can make more money per
[568]
client than if you're selling to
[569]
everyday people once you've got that
[571]
nailed down you need to develop a
[573]
solution for a problem in my friend's
[575]
case it was membership organizations
[578]
getting overwhelmed by their own data
[580]
everything up until this point has been
[582]
built upon assumptions so this is when
[584]
you need to put those to the test and
[586]
build a minimum viable product also
[588]
known as an mvp with this you'll be able
[591]
to conduct market research and explore
[593]
different pricing models all the while
[595]
you're establishing your brand now comes
[597]
a hard question how do you actually
[599]
finance this thing well if your solution
[602]
is good enough then funding really won't
[604]
be an issue angel investors love sas
[606]
startups so you could pitch for an
[608]
investment or you could use your own
[610]
resources to fund the company this is
[612]
known as bootstrapping idea number five
[615]
is digital downloads this is one on the
[617]
risk scale and four on effort level the
[619]
internet is definitely the place to make
[621]
lots of money as its growth has been
[623]
exponential in 2020 there were 305 000
[627]
online businesses created compared to
[629]
only 13 000 in 2019 with all these
[632]
people starting online businesses you
[634]
may think the competition is going to be
[636]
sky high and yes it's harder now however
[640]
i think there is a huge gap in the
[642]
market for digital products just think
[644]
about it everyone is talking about
[646]
e-commerce and drop shipping but far
[648]
less are actually selling quality
[650]
digital products which have the benefit
[652]
of never running out of stock and no
[655]
shipping costs as it's all done via the
[657]
internet a friend of mine created a
[659]
digital template system you can use on
[661]
instagram just off the back of a problem
[663]
sent in by one of her followers who
[665]
wanted to stand out within a couple of
[667]
hours and no more than a hundred dollars
[669]
the templates were designed and she now
[671]
sells thousands of dollars worth every
[673]
week
[674]
this all came from helping another
[676]
person with their problem and she
[678]
thought that if this person needs these
[679]
templates then others would too if
[682]
instagram templates aren't for you then
[683]
you can make youtube banners sell stock
[685]
footage ebooks games email templates or
[688]
even online courses idea number 5.5 is
[692]
investments this is variable on the risk
[695]
out and a one on effort level now i hold
[697]
my hands up this isn't exactly unique
[700]
but i couldn't leave it out it's the
[701]
truest form of passive income you will
[704]
ever get i've been investing in
[705]
different assets for years such as
[707]
stocks crypto and real estate i like to
[710]
see this as a way of really multiplying
[712]
my money i don't go for crazy profits as
[715]
that can often lead to people losing
[717]
everything a good example of this is
[719]
when luna cryptocoin collapsed as soon
[721]
as you can make sure to open up a tax
[723]
advantage account this is a stocks and
[726]
shares isa in the uk and a roth ira in
[728]
the usa your aim should be to max out
[731]
the amount of money you're able to
[733]
contribute as the gains are completely
[735]
tax-free a good thing to remember is to
[737]
be fearful when others are greedy and
[739]
greedy when others are fearful i know
[741]
it's a cliche saying but it's so true if
[744]
you're wondering where to invest in
[745]
public.com are a great option and
[748]
they're giving away a free stock slice
[749]
worth between three and a thousand
[751]
dollars when you sign up and fund your
[753]
account with the link in the description
[755]
now i need to address something
[757]
extremely important people will try and
[759]
tell you you need more than one passive
[761]
income stream which has some truth to it
[764]
however most people misunderstand what
[766]
this actually means the mistake i see
[769]
people making over and over again is
[770]
taking their time off an idea that's
[772]
working and splitting their attention by
[774]
trying something else you'll never get
[776]
anywhere if you're one foot in and one
[778]
foot out however i do agree with
[780]
creating multiple income streams within
[782]
the same idea because as you progress
[785]
you'll find even more ways to profit
[787]
from providing value to your customers
[789]
so i'm going to leave the next video
[791]
right up there but don't click on it
[792]
just yet make sure to subscribe if you
[795]
want to grow your wealth okay then i'll
[797]
see you over there
