Hunting $1 Bills - $500 for Star Notes and a Fancy Serial Numbers - YouTube

Channel: RobFindsTreasure

[9]
everyone it's Rob from Rob finds treasure and we've got five $100 bank
[14]
straps to go through of $1 bills for sake of time I'll be going through each
[20]
one of these one at a time and if I find any star notes or cool serial numbers along
[25]
the way I'll loop you in otherwise I'll give you a quick round up
[29]
after every Bank strap and if we find any star notes at the wrap up I'll go
[33]
ahead and check their rarity and fill you in on how that looks let's get
[38]
started all right guys most of the way through
[41]
the stack we got our first star note the serial number is nothing special but it
[47]
is a star note so I'll put it over here to the side and we'll cover the finds
[51]
after we finish the stack all right everyone just a couple of notes later
[55]
we've got a second star note again nothing special about the serial number
[59]
but it is a second star note let's keep looking
[63]
okay guys in that first one hundred dollar bank strap of one's here's what I pulled
[67]
out I pulled out an X note because I collect them I don't know how
[70]
collectible they really are maybe you could let me know down below but it's
[72]
just something I pull out I've only gotten two of all the notes I've ever
[75]
searched we did get a one dollar trinary with zero three and eight it's pretty
[80]
toasty but pulled it out and this is kind of a birthday note if you look at
[85]
it like 2005 September 19th I know it's kind of reversed but if there's somebody
[91]
with that was born September 19th 2005 maybe they would think it's kind of cool
[94]
maybe it's the closest thing they had to a birthday no so I pulled it out anyway
[97]
and again we got the couple of Star notes in that first stack which is cool
[101]
and at the roundup I'll give you the rarity of all the Starr notes let's get
[105]
to the second 100 our bank strapping ones ok guys for about two-thirds the
[111]
way through this stack we got our first store star note almost a birthday note
[115]
but not quite and check this out someone must have had this as part of their
[120]
collection or they were keeping it it's a trinary with 0 5 and sixes zero
[125]
five zero six zero six six six but it's got tape on both sides like it was taped
[130]
to something unbelievable then I pulled that one out it's kind of a cool serial
[134]
number up I won't keep it but thought it was kind of cool with four zeros in the
[137]
middle let's get back to the hunt second one
[140]
our bank strap completed again we got the star note we got kind of a cool
[145]
serial number and the trinary also noticed the stamps off center as well
[150]
but it has the tape on both sides that's gonna hurt the value but we'll keep it
[154]
anyway now let's get on to the third one in an hour being strapped
[158]
alright guys about a third of the way through the next Bank strap and look
[162]
what we got here our star note and it's kind of cool star note because it's a
[165]
birthday note as well zero five zero four nineteen forty three so we got a
[171]
birthday note star note that's pretty cool what to the side and we'll get back
[178]
to the hunt alright everyone we're halfway through this Bank strap and we
[183]
got another star note nothing too great about the serial number does have a 12
[187]
27 but it ends in O four four eight still ii start out of the stack let's
[193]
get back to the hunt alright we just finished the third strap and got a
[197]
couple of star nuts that you've seen so put those with the finds and again we'll
[201]
be rounding up the star notes with their rarity information at the end of the
[205]
video let's get to the four strap alright guys we're just about done with
[210]
this bank strap I didn't pull out this trinary with the 3, 5 and zeroes and
[214]
a few notes later got one of my older ones a 1977 A, so the other cool thing is
[222]
it's off-center as you can see it's not Printed very straight so that's good
[228]
we'll pull that aside it's my oldest one so far and let's go ahead and keep
[232]
finishing up this stack and then we'll get to the last one all right guys we've
[236]
officially finished that Bank strapping again got a trinary and a 1977 a series
[242]
note that's pretty cool now let's get to that last $100 bank strap okay
[247]
everyone I finished searching the five 100 dollar bank straps of one dollar
[251]
bills we have some cool Trinaries and other cool finds that you saw during the
[254]
video I did pull out five star notes so now I'm gonna do a little research on
[259]
them to see what kind of rarity they come up with and I will fill you in on
[262]
the details especially if I have anything rare we'll be right back
[266]
okay everyone I've done the research on these none of them are rare they're all
[271]
a part of a 3.2 Million print run and so there's really
[276]
nothing rare or extremely valuable in these I will say though this is one of
[281]
parcel to because it is a star note and it is a birthday star note again it is
[287]
May 4th 1943 so anyone who wanted this with that birthday is gonna be in their
[291]
mid 70s but to any extent it was a fun hunt I got five star notes out of five
[296]
Bank straps so that's about what you expect and I didn't do too bad if you
[301]
enjoyed the video please give it a thumbs up and as always thanks for
[305]
