The Gratour looks cool due to its expanded and rounded greenhouse

they also incorporate a hood that is almost the same size as the headlamp.

It has big rounded headlamps

enclosed in a big chrome housing

All lights are halogen.

The grill is surrounded by a silver honeycomb design.

The bumper is connected to the provision for fog lamps.

The most noticeable thing when look from the side is how they have maximized the space.

They have made use of the greenhouse fully that makes the nose a little bit shorter.

They have prioritized the space in this car.

Both sides have sliding doors.

The gas tank is located on the passenger side.

The door handles and the side mirrors are on the blackout design.

The signal light is placed on the fender.

It also comes with character lines from headlights all the way to the back

which breaks the flat surface on the side.

The front brake plate is a disc while the back is on a drum-brake.

Looking at the back, it really looks like a van with its square shape figure.

But it has curves on the taillights and it comes with a shaped hip.

Before we do the space test, the steering wheel cannot be adjusted, it's fixed.

The driver seat can be pushed forward, backward, it can also be reclined but it doesn't come with a height adjustment.

In our space test, my knees are well fitted

And I have plenty of headroom, however, when you push your seat backward because of the overhead AC, your headroom will become tighter.

I'm well fitted here, my knees can rest well.

My headroom is big more or less 5 inches, how about the third-row seat?

I can fit in here too, my knees have enough space, I have a massive headroom.

The second-row seat is a little bit elevated so I can still stick my feet that gives me more space, let's check if it can carry more luggage.

Our G-test is well fitted here, but if you need more space, that's easy by folding the back row seats.

There, it's even bigger now, and if you need a little more, there are only two screws on both sides, you can easily remove it.

The dashboard is simple composed of all hard plastic, which is a good thing as it's not gonna tear.

At the instrument panel, gauges are all in its simplest forms, it has a speedometer and tachometer.

On the side of the steering wheel is the control of the rear fog lights and headlights level control.

We also have a radio plus a USB port.

It has aircon and a power supply that can also be used as a lighter.

Beside is a small compartment.

Further below it is another bottle holder.

The shifter has silver touches, the size is average and it comes with a leather booth.

The handbrake is a typical handbrake.

Further back, is an ashtray that matches the cigarette lighter and the holder can also be used as a usual cup holder.

On the right side of the dashboard are a small compartment and a small glove box.

The seat is made up of cloth in a beige color, it's soft.

In the second row seat, it has separate aircon vents, with fan speed one, two, three, with four air vents.

it has an overhead handle on the side.

The windows are manually operated but it comes with a central locking system.

It has pockets at the back of the first row seats.

The third seat at the second row is a jump seat, in case you need to get to the third row, you can easily stow it.

All passengers are equipped with seatbelts.

Both windows on the side can be opened slightly.

It has three seatbelts for the passenger at the back row

There's nothing much in the trunk, this is the latch to eject the spare tire.

We're done with the exterior and interior review, let's go for a test drive, shall we?

First thing, we just left Foton, the steering wheel is very light, it's very easy to maneuver

the next one is if the steering wheel is very light, so as the clutch, so stepping on it won't be a problem.

I didn't even have to adjust the clutch, I tried it a while ago while in the parking, the friction zone is easy to gauge.

The suspension is undeniably bouncy considering that this is on a leaf spring at the back but having said that, you can carry more loads in here, it can carry eight actually.

That's pro about it and from the business perspective, you could load more with no worries about struggling with restrictive capacities as it happens in coil springs.

with this one, your back will become more adaptive to load.

See, the clutch is working well.

I can't say any on normal driving,

I noticed that the footrest on the left is bigger, although my feet fit well, it's not spacious just enough for the feet to rest

The brake pedal is more leaning to the right side, but as you use it, you'll get the hang of it.

but now, it's no longer an issue, just concerned that it's more leaning to the right

maybe because the footrest gets a little more space down there.

The engine noise can be heard inside the cabin as well as the compressor when it turns on

The NVH is much lower but if you're just gonna use this taking you from point A to B, it's easy to use.

it's easy to use especially in normal driving

now, let's try to drive up a little bit and see if it will give us power.

I can say, do not rush it, as you'll arrive at your destination in no time,

It just making the engine noise a little bit louder, it pulls but it's not fast.

The brake is really strong, you won't worry about it, even with full passengers loaded, the brake works well.

So what can you say about your experience back there, how's the comfort?

Here at the second-row seat, I have plenty of room for my leg headroom, I stand 5'4 by the way, the seats are very comfortable.

When it comes to the suspension, the second-row seat is bouncy because it's on a leaf spring.

Later on, I will try to sit in the back row to see how it feels there as far as the suspension is concerned.

So far the aircon has no issues, just right in where I sit.

sitting in the third-row seat is too bouncy because the tire is just right behind it.

Your legroom here is a lot bigger so this is right for those who stand tall, you could stretch out your legs.

You'll have plenty of headroom, aircon can reach out back here though it's much colder at the second-row seat

Alright, I'll go first

The first bad for me

The suspension is a little bit stiff since it's on a leaf spring besides its design for eight passengers

But the good thing about it is that it has better load capability, for eight passengers plus luggage won't be a problem.

The next one is the engine noise when you open the AC it's noisier due to its compressor.

I also noticed that pedals are more leaning to the right side

You might have to gauge the positioning a little bit at your first hop as a driver but when you get used to it, it won't be an issue.

The good thing about it is that the friction zone is easy to find, so you won't have trouble getting stalled

The car is a little bit elevated, it needs a little effort but the good thing is you can drive it even if the road is flooded.

We noticed that the second row and the third-row seats cannot be reclined, so it's fixed.

Let's look at the good

The first one is the AC, it can reach up to the back row so you won't be uncomfortable in hot weather conditions

For me, the steering and pedals are easy to operate, driving this car is too easy.

Another thing is, this is a small car but it's eight seaters.

The price is really worth it, it's cheap, you can load eight passengers and it has dual AC too.

I also like the two sliding doors on both sides, so either way, you can get in and on

Another good thing is that the last row has only two screws, so it's easy to remove when you need more cargo space

My verdict on this car

if you have more members in the family and you need a dual-purpose car where you can also use in the business, you need to check this out.

Especially if you are on a budget and you only have a tight parking space
