Channel: Client Dispute Manager Credit Repair Software
[0]
welcome back to the second video in the
[4]
dispute series dispute a credit report
[7]
and this time we're going to talk about
[9]
the secret way of dealing with and
[13]
trying to get in accurate late payments
[17]
off of your credit report now the key
[20]
word here is inaccurate late payments
[22]
though that's the key that is the key
[25]
here because we want to focus on factual
[28]
disputing to remove inaccurate late
[31]
payments now I want you to I want you to
[33]
stay through this video because I have
[35]
some dispute letters I want to show you
[37]
that's proven to be effective at
[40]
removing in accurate late payments now
[42]
what do I mean by inaccurate I mean
[44]
there are some problems with the late
[46]
payment that makes them in Akron they're
[48]
not accurate because technically you
[50]
cannot dispute accurate information and
[52]
you should not you should only use
[54]
factual information to remove any
[58]
inaccurate information off of a credit
[60]
report all right are you ready let's go
[63]
so let's look at the first thing so your
[67]
first issue whenever you are trying to
[70]
dispute a inaccurate late payment we
[74]
first have to look at the data the
[76]
factual data on the credit report is
[78]
something now if you watch the
[81]
charge-off video I spent a lot of time
[83]
talking about how to pinpoint problems
[86]
inside of a credit report so you don't
[89]
have to use lame dispute reasons like
[92]
it's not mine or I was never late when
[95]
in fact you were late so we got to like
[98]
own up to our responsibility and we have
[102]
to look at the credit report forward the
[104]
way it is so as you can see right here
[107]
we're gonna look at the late payment
[109]
section and as you can see you have
[112]
TransUnion right here 60 days 60 days 30
[116]
okay 30 okay okay okay
[118]
you have Experian 120 ninety 90 60 60 30
[124]
okay then you have Equifax 90 60 60 so I
[128]
want to ask you a question can you tell
[130]
me what is wrong
[132]
with this late-payment history now you
[135]
can type blow anywhere below in the
[138]
comment section of this video tell me
[141]
what's wrong with this late-payment
[143]
history now remember the Fair Credit
[146]
Reporting Act the Fair Credit Reporting
[147]
Act states that any information that's
[150]
reported to the credit bureaus that's
[153]
reported any information that's on the
[156]
credit report has to be a hundred
[158]
percent accurate so then what's wrong
[161]
with this page of history well I'm gonna
[164]
tell you right now so let's take a look
[166]
at it if this creditor Capital One is
[168]
reporting to all three credit bureaus
[170]
which you can see right here then why is
[173]
the payment history all messed up now if
[176]
this customer was late not 120 days on
[180]
Experian well why it's not showing on
[183]
TransUnion or why is it not showing on
[187]
Equifax II something is wrong with the
[189]
picture here if this person was 90 days
[193]
late well why is it only showing on
[196]
these two and not showing on transition
[198]
so my argument would be hey TransUnion
[201]
I mean hey um Experian I don't
[206]
understand where you're getting this 120
[208]
days late from when it's not showing on
[210]
Trans Union or Equifax you see so
[212]
there's a problem there now also if you
[215]
look at the date last active let's take
[217]
a look at the dates to 13 2017 0 3 0 1 &
[224]
1101 2016 what is going on here how is
[229]
it possible that the date last active is
[232]
3 different days so I personally will do
[236]
factual disputing and dispute this
[238]
account based off inconsistencies of the
[243]
credit report now let's go ahead and
[244]
take a look at a number 1 this will be
[247]
my second dispute round based on facts
[250]
if for example I sent a just B round off
[253]
to the credit bureau and they came back
[254]
verify I will send a second dispute
[257]
round based off of facts and here's what
[258]
I would say let's look at the payment
[260]
status
[261]
it says late 90 days here TransUnion
[264]
Experian 120 days late and then Equifax
[269]
120 days they again inconsistent across
[273]
all three bureaus that is the argument
[277]
it cannot be inconsistent like that okay
[279]
this data is inaccurate all right last
[282]
report look at this - 13 2017 313 2017
[288]
and then 3 1 2017 what is going on here
[292]
credit bureau
[293]
you cannot report information that's
[296]
inaccurate this information is clearly
[299]
inaccurate alright is clearly inequity
[302]
here's the reason why all right because
[304]
the date of last report is all wrong and
[306]
inconsistent you see you don't have to
[309]
dispute based on I was never late or
[313]
it's not my account because as you can
[315]
see clearly the data inside of this
[318]
particular Capital One account is not
[321]
reporting correctly this is what we call
[325]
factual dispute II all right so let's
[328]
take a look at another area of this so
[332]
now let's take a look at this simple
[334]
this view matter now a lot of people are
[337]
getting this confused they think that
[339]
when you first set a dispute letter out
[342]
to the credit bureau that you have to
[343]
threaten the credit bureau you got the
[345]
towel the credit bureau that you're
[346]
going to sue them you have to use all of
[348]
this language let me ask you a question
[350]
does the average consumer say talk like
[353]
that no the average consumer is going to
[356]
see something wrong with their credit
[358]
report and they're going to be
[358]
straightforward with the credit girl
[361]
because they're not educated they're not
[363]
out there researching all these
[365]
different tactics to dispute with the
[367]
credit bureau so why would you do that
[368]
you see the credit peers are smart they
[371]
know they know
[372]
just be straight to the point and very
[375]
simple check this up hey credit bureau I
[377]
noticed that there is an issue with my
[382]
account and the late payment straight
[385]
forward no lying no misrepresentation no
[388]
misleading nothing because again the
[390]
credit
[390]
don't care a computer reads this letter
[394]
a computer resist letter okay so why are
[399]
you trying to put all these fancy things
[401]
in the letter when the credit bureau
[403]
dared not even reading the letter or
[404]
computer reason right okay so you want
[408]
to put the creditors name the count in
[410]
question in the reason why your dispute
[412]
enos and you simply say please fix
[415]
modify or delete these late payments you
[418]
see you have to tell the credit bureaus
[421]
what to do you cannot send a general
[425]
Blanque dispute letter and not tell the
[427]
credit bureaus what to do if you don't
[429]
tell them what to do they're not going
[430]
to do it so you have to tell them the
[433]
issue you have to tell them why you feel
[436]
that the account is inaccurate and then
[438]
you have to tell them exactly what to do
[442]
all right let's take a look at another
[444]
letter now this is a letter to the
[447]
creditor now when do you send this
[448]
letter to the creditor you can I would
[450]
say sin the first letter to the credit
[453]
bureaus and let 30 days go by and the
[456]
see if they work their magic and if they
[458]
fix or delete they'll come if that
[462]
doesn't work now you set this generic
[464]
general letter to the creditor now the
[467]
creditors are very tough when it comes
[469]
to late payments now some people say oh
[471]
man I could get a late payment off all
[473]
their late papers easy late papers are
[475]
not easy late payments are very tough
[478]
especially if the count is open
[480]
especially if the count is open and
[483]
you're still paying an account you got
[486]
to be careful here because if you go
[488]
after a late payment that it's only 30
[491]
days late and you're trying to correct
[492]
that the credit bureaus by mistake will
[494]
delete the entire account including all
[497]
of your good positive payment history so
[500]
you have to be careful there now here
[502]
check this out dear creditor I would
[505]
like to investigate investigate is the
[508]
key here okay
[510]
I would like to investigate not dispute
[513]
those are totally two different things
[515]
see if you say dispute you're telling
[518]
the creditor to do something else you
[520]
don't want to dispute you want them to
[522]
investigate
[523]
the account listed below as it is not
[527]
reporting correctly on my credit report
[529]
you want to put the creditor the
[533]
creditors name in the account number I
[535]
would like to see my payment history for
[538]
this account can you please send it to
[539]
me see non-threatening very
[542]
straightforward no threats enough all
[545]
you're doing is asking the creditor that
[549]
you would like to see your payment
[551]
history so you can compare what they
[554]
have on their records and what you have
[556]
on your records so in return you can set
[560]
another dispute based on what you have
[563]
as proof all right let's continue all
[567]
right Q&A these are common questions
[571]
that come in what if the creditor fails
[575]
to respond now that can happen it can
[579]
happen so if they fail to respond you
[581]
just send a follow-up letter reiterating
[584]
that you sent the first letter and they
[585]
fail to respond to that first letter
[588]
because you are asking for an
[590]
investigation the second what if the
[594]
creditor updates me with a verified
[596]
letter well if they update you with a
[599]
verified letter and there's no change
[600]
then you have to rebuttal with proof
[604]
demonstrating to the creditor that
[606]
they're reporting to the credit bureau
[610]
is inaccurate okay all right now tell me
[615]
what are some dispute factual dispute
[620]
strategies that you have used to help
[625]
the credit bureaus or the creditors
[627]
remove inaccurate late payments off of
[632]
your credit report go ahead and type
[633]
below this video tell me what kind of
[636]
success what have you used and what kind
[639]
of responses are the creditors or the
