Hello y'all fellow food and drink lovers and welcome to another review on my channel called JdemeŽrát

Today we are gonna review a restaurant which I would probably never expect to appear here

but as you might already know, a lot of reviews are done based on gimmicks you give me via Facebook or Instagram

and when about 10 people recommend me the same thing to be tried, I sort of believe it and I really long for giving it a shot

Exactly the same thing happened with one vegetarian restaurant which we are gonna test today

Honestly I was a bit scared of it due to their peculiar delivery conditions

that means that They deliver food only from Monday to Friday from 11am to 14:30pm

so basically They focus on vegetarian lunches only

and it was really tough for me to order a food due to opening hours for some time

However, today I have managed

My friends, this restaurant is called Prostě Veget

And They really do focus on delivering vegetarian lunches

Thanks to options during ordering online, it was apparent that they aim on delivery

Firstly, restaurant promises to deliver your order up to 60 minutes

And today, during rush hour, They even managed to deliver it in 30 minutes

which is nice, I didn't expect it to happen this fast

Secondly, let me read you what do They claim on their website:

About us: Dear customers, you pay neither transport or packing by us

Our delivery is proposed the way you need only to be hungry and in a good mood, because everything else is covered by us

This is exactly the flawless approach I've been trying to explain to all people who watch me for more than 3 years

And for this facility it seems to be fundamental

So let's sum it up real quick: packing for free, delivery up to 60 minutes for free,

Prices absolutely okay, maybe I wouldn't be afraid to say a bit lower than standard

What delighted me the most is the optional set of cutlery

This restaurant has made it up so good that it could be a muster for other delivery orientated facilities, listen carefully

All of the packing are obviously eco-friendly, that's the first point

Second point is concerning the cutlery, because once you order the food, you are asked via pop-up if you would like to have sauce or cutlery in addition or not

and the offered cutlery is eco-friendly as well as packing and it's for free, too

That means, to each food you have ordered you may take cutlery included in the price

so if you order it home, you may simply refuse on the condition you have cutlery at home

on the other hand, if you make the order to the office or wherever outside whatsoever, you just add the cutlery and everybody is satisfied

Big big thumbs up for this approach towards customers

That's why everyone should learn from them

Nevertheless, food is still the most important part though, so let's check it out

I ordered one soup, two main courses and two desserts

Look at this guys, there we have cutlery with an inscription Vegware Compostable

Direct answer for all people asking "why the heck would you want plastic packing and cutlery in order to pollute our planet?!"

In fact I wouldn't since there are more ecological alternatives, but unluckily 1 CZK more expensive than the cheapest ones

and why for God's sake They should give you this in restaurants where you already pay 17 CZK for the most shi#@y packing and nothing else?!?

We can start right off with the soup and proceed through all of this food

This shall be a bean soup with sauerkraut for 40 CZK

Eco-friendly packing again

at a glance a bit smaller portion, let's weigh it

225 grams including the paper packing if I am not mistaken

In fact this is a smaller portion, by other restaurants I am used to larger amounts around 300-350 grams per portion during lunchtime

225 grams is too little since this paper bowl can fit much more than this amount

Another important thing is temperature

because this soup has 52°C ( 125,6F ) which is good but expected thanks to that fast delivery

One has to say that eventhough this soup contains no meat *laughter*, it smells good anyway

The scent of sauerkraut is lovely

Inside the bowl we can see beans, French beans, sauerkraut and all of this looks tasty

Hope you are eating something delicious at this moment, because we are just about to taste it

Holy Jesus

More than a bean soup it tastes like a sauerkraut soup

Utterly delicious, very decent bitter taste thanks to sauerkraut

This, this is simply delicious

A big pity that the portion is smaller than it could be, otherwise it would be 10/10 points

Regrettably, I have to take one point down due to it

C'mon, 100 milliliters wouldn't hurt you on the condition the dish is this good

9 out of 10 points for me, possibly the owners will see my video, so They could do something about those portions

All in all I recommend trying this one and hopefully other meals will be the same quality

Let's move onto main courses, hope I recognize what is what

This is difficult, but the bill gives me hints that it could be Bulghur with veggies and tofu for 129 CZK

and it's vegan-like dish

In the least this looks interesting, let's weigh it up

477 grams, no ripoff is taking place there

The portion is huge

It is still hot even after I have chitchatted for like 15 minutes

Around 49°C ( 120,2F )

No need to keep measuring temperature, everything has it right

What shall be appreciated is the paper packing because it it had been the plastic one, these veggies would have been boiledto death

There is just some chopped iceberg lettuce with tomatoes

Mh mh

Still a bit unpleasantly warm

In general, putting hot food with a cold salad is a mistake

and even quick delivery cannot save that

some small seperated bowl for veggies and everything's allright

Notwithstanding, let's check this out since it looks quite...strange *laughter*

Bulghur here, tomatoes, red pepper, zucchini

Guys, without further ado, let me show you this one closely

Looks like this and let's taste it

Well, I'mma say it this way

Looked worse when first seen than it actually tastes

It's all tasty, juicy, maybe..refreshing? *laughter*

You know what I mean, while eating this you feel how light and easy to digest it is

In fact, I didn't expect it to be so tasty

The more I eat, the better it is

Maybe I might become vegan ? *giggle*

Of course not yet this is still great

Don't beat me, you know how much I love meat, but this has to be 10/10

It is good, it is actually so good that I won't take down any point for those almost cooked veggies

In my opinion, this is some kind of unnecessary bonus

How much does it cost, 129 CZK? For this? Take my money fam, finery

So far this restaurant is doing great and..what do we have here next?

This is vegetarian lasagne with zucchini for 159 CZK

Weighs..441 grams which as decent amount as well

Well, at first glance it doesn't look any tasty

Yep, it has fine temperature yet we don't have to taste it for we know it's gonna taste bad

The arrangement is so-so

Our vision encourages our taste buds significantly which cannot be really spoken about in this case

However, previous meals taught us a lesson that inkling might be confusing sometimes, so let's look a bit closer

This is zucchini, isn't it? If not by a chance, correct me please in the comment section below video

For some reason, spinach has run aside *giggle*

Okay, no big autopsy needed for it doesn't look extra tasty at all

Let's simply cut a piece

and taste it

One thing is sure, it taster better than it looks again

Is it standard that these vegetarian and vegan meals taste better than They look like?

Because if the opposite was happening, at least more people would be interested in it, right?

If it was like that, more people would be attracted to at least try this kind of food, so far They are likely afraid to try due to visage

yet if they somehow tried it, they might like it

Don't know, probably vegan and vegetarian cooks should think it over *giggle/

They might try to rearrange the meal visual

Spinach taste definitely prevails, although the whole meal tastes kind of sour

The more you eat, the more sour it seems to be

After few gobbets it is a bit unpleasant

That Bulghur was definitely better, this is quite so-so

It's apparent the cook tried to get close to any known taste, but zucchinis might be the source of sourness

Better not to overdo with them

Let's move to point rating, of course without any bias

This deserves about 6/10 points

Not complete garbage, more like slightly above average, that's it

Now my most favourite part, thus desserts

I was supposed to receive desserts "Grandma's gingerbread" for 35CZK and Grandma's strudel" for 35 CZK

but courier apologized that They had run out of strudel and They gave me something different

Must be this one which looks pretty good

Forget about this, because I dropped the box by an accident *laughter*

So all these flaws are my fault, not theirs

One has to say this gingerbread looks perfect

Portion is solid as well, let's try that

Dough is falling apart a bit

In the middle is a layer of marmelade

Bit dry on the outside, but c'mon, it's gingerbread, a good one

This vanilla cream on top is great

All in all it's worth the price for sure

After a good lunch, why not

In terms of points8,5/10

If you ordered food here and They had it, you should try it

What about second dessert, we shall try with hands

This is luxurious, that cream, my goodness

Very good one, definitely one of the best I've ever eaten

10/10 guys and this is simply perfect

I'm assuming the strudel would be good too, but I'm kinda glad They didn't have it for this one is worth it

Not really an ending, because I have ordered a drink, too

This is supposed to be a vegan ice coffee Penguin worth 45 CZK

Which is in a glass form

Contains 200ml and description is: refreshing beverage from dissolvable coffee - 99%coffee( water, dissolvable coffee ),coffee aroma, stabilization salt E500

Okay, why not, let's shake it properly

What is the difference between a coffee and a vegan coffee? In a milk, am I right?

Okay then

Whoa

The coffee aroma is strong

Let me show you the bottom of the bottle and how dark this coffee in fact is - pure coffee, nothing cheesy

We shall try it then

Kinda tastes like some watered-down espresso

But not bad, not bad, as you can see, no sugar or sweeteners

Decent bitterness, They even had the vanilla one, so I should have taken it too because this is just cold coffee

Neither other taste or aroma

For 45 CZK, including this pretty bottle and for taste intentions, why not

But claiming this as a vegan coffee..okay, why not in the end

However, it's not trash, it's actually decent, but nothing super and must-have product

In terms of points solid 6,5/10

Pretty much it, this was today's vegetarian review of the restaurant Prostě Veget

If I had to sum it up, I would say it really surprised me in a good way

Practically each dish was good and tasty

Spinach lasagne was so-so, but the rest, I could imagine eating this stuff regularly
