Channel: unknown
[0]
Whatsup youtube its joel, with your stimulus
check and news update as of November 3rd,
[5]
we have some really great news for you today!
[8]
Nancy Pelosi is pressing for the vote, this
week.
[12]
But joe manchin is now calling for more time,
to review the 1.75 trillion dollar spending
[18]
package, and he does have a good point which
we will get into in just a moment.
[24]
Bernie sanders is going against manchin and
is also demanding lower drug prices for seniors.
[31]
And im glad to say we have a deal on lowering
prescription drug prices which we will get
[37]
to in just a moment.
[39]
Now I know there was a lot of talk about the
progressive democrats not voting on certain
[43]
bills, but we do have good news that they
will back both economic bills.
[49]
And if you donât have a laptop, well theres
475 million dollars in the new reconcilation
[57]
bill that would give free laptops, tablets,
or desktops to americans and yes you heard
[65]
me right, free, we got more details on that.
[68]
And we do have updated info on the petition
to give seniors another $1400 check which
[76]
it now has over 1 million signatures.
[79]
And if you could do me a huge favor and smash
that like button for me and the youtube algorithm,
[85]
it really helps the channel so much and it
cost you absolutely nothing for real.
[94]
And please if anyone ask you for personal
info or to contact them on whatsapp or text
[101]
, its not me its fake please donât do it.
[105]
We are on the homestretch to getting not only
the infrastructure bill but the 1.75 trillion
[111]
dollar reconciliation package passed this
week.
[115]
Negotiations have happened and things are
closer than ever, and we got really good news
[120]
and some really interesting news.
[122]
Nancy pelosi says that âWeâre on course
to pass our bill,â she has been working
[128]
to keep the huge trillion dollar bills separate,
but progressives want it one way and the moderate
[134]
democrats want it another way.
[136]
Its very interesting to see basically two
internal parties within one party.
[141]
The moderate democrats vs the progressive
democrats.
[145]
Now something big has happened, and that is
chuck schumer announcing that the democrats
[149]
have come to a deal on getting prescription
drug prices lowered for our seniors.
[157]
Chuck schumer the leader of the senate said,
Democratic lawmakers have reached a deal on
[162]
legislation to lower prescription drug prices
to be included in President Biden's social
[167]
spending package,
[169]
The agreement would allow Medicare to negotiate
drug prices in limited instances, preventing
[175]
drug companies from raising prices faster
than inflation and cap, out-of-pocket costs
[183]
for seniors on Medicare at $2,000 per year.
[188]
This is huge, one of the largest expenses
of seniors is healthcare cost, and its really
[195]
hard to keep up with rising cost when your
on a fixed income.
[201]
Now to bring it all into context, there have
been 2 democrats that have been holding back
[207]
the passing of this huge 1.75 trillion dollar
spending bill.
[213]
Joe manchin and kysten sinema.
[215]
Now there are a couple of things that they
each wanted in the bill in order for it to
[220]
get their vote.
[221]
For kyrsten sinema its been lowering prescription
drug prices.
[225]
She literally said if this wasnât included
she would not vote for the bill, but now it
[231]
has been so she is game and ready to move
forward.
[235]
Sinemas office said,
"The Senator welcomes a new agreement on a
[239]
historic, transformative Medicare drug negotiation
plan that will reduce out-of-pocket costs
[245]
for seniors - ensuring drug prices cannot
rise faster than inflation - save taxpayer
[253]
dollars, and protect innovation to ensure
Arizonans and Americans continue to have access
[259]
to life-saving medications, and new cures
and therapeutics,"
[264]
This was also a piece that bernie sanders
really fought hard on for the american people
[269]
and it was something that he said if it wasnât
included he would not vote on the bill.
[275]
I want to know what you think about this provision
within the bill, because to me itâs a no
[281]
brainer, pharmaceutical companies are making
a killing, and if we can help out our seniors
[287]
with making something cheaper that is essential
to their everyday lives, than why not.
[295]
Let them get cheaper prescription drug prices
and keep more money in their pockets.
[300]
But I want to know what you think down in
the comment section,
[303]
And since this amazing thing has happened,
you should get you 2 free stocks with webull
[309]
or robinhood worth hundreds and hundreds of
dollars.
[312]
if you use my links in the description of
this video worth hundreds of dollars.
[316]
Its free and let me know which free stocks
you get in the comment section,
[322]
Now before I go into joe manchins part the
white house did say they are confident if
[328]
they bring the huge megabill to the floor
they believe that manchin will vote yes on
[334]
it.
[335]
But it most recent news
Manchin said,
[337]
âI will not support a bill that is this
consequential without thoroughly understanding
[343]
the impact it will have on our national debt,
our economy and the American people,â âEvery
[349]
elected representative needs to know what
they are voting for and the impact it has,
[354]
not only on their constituents, but the entire
country.â
[357]
So good thoughts and right intentions.
[361]
This is our tax payer dollars and we need
to know whats going on with it and whats all
[366]
in it because were talking trillions of dollars
being spent.
[373]
Now for a while it was the progressives that
were kind of holding back on getting both
[377]
bills passed but now they have expressed support
for passing both bills this week.
[383]
Rep. Pramila Jayapal, the leader of the Congressional
Progressive Caucus said,
[389]
âWe intend to pass both bills in the next
couple of days,â
[394]
So as of this moment there is literally one
person keeping the bill from being passed
[399]
already, now donât think of this as a bad
thing, manchin is just trying to do his due
[403]
diligence on this huge spending bill, which
is his job as well as the job of others, it
[408]
pains me to say though that in the past our
congressional lawmakers are on record saying,
[414]
well lets pass this bill so we can see whats
in it.
[418]
And thatâs not right in any sense because
it effects us all.
[422]
Its our hard earned money that we pay taxes
on that they are using and they need to be
[427]
using it wisely.
[428]
So with that let me know your thoughts about
this in the comment section.
[432]
So last week the white house released the
latest text for the build back better plan,
[436]
and within it is the connected device grant
program.
[440]
So this program would provide free or discounted
desktops, laptops or tablets to low income
[447]
households.
[448]
Theres 475 million dollars that the commerce
department will be receiving to award community
[455]
groups that want to distribute thes devices
locally.
[459]
This is in part tied to the 65 billion dolars
down payment on broadband internet that is
[467]
coming from the megabill.
[469]
They are saying that it makes no sense to
give people high speed internet if they donât
[473]
have anything to get on the internet with.
[476]
So thatâs where this program is coming into
place.
[479]
As the bill passes more details will be given
out and ill direct you to where you need to
[484]
go to see if you qaulify for one of these
devices.
[488]
Now onto a potential fourth stimulus check
in the amount of $1400 for our seniors only.
[495]
The senior citizerns league is still at it
and talking with congressman and women to
[500]
add a one time $1400 check to be sent out
to our seniors in the trillion dollar bill.
[507]
Right now the petition that they are garnering
has over 1 million signatures.
[513]
If you would like to add to this I have the
link down in the description of this video.
[519]
But they are pushing hard for this because
in the last disbursments of stimulus checks
[525]
seniors were among the last to receive their
checks, and they are on a fixed income and
[530]
with inflation its been really hard on them
these past 20 months dealing with the pandemic
[536]
and being on a fixed income.
[539]
Now the more support they have the more likely
it is to pass.
[544]
I have signed it for our seniors and I hope
they can add this to the bill.
[551]
It would help them out a lot.
[552]
Let me know what you think about this petition
and if you have signed it yet in the comment
[556]
section.
