Welcome Guys!
[1]
recently I been getting a lot of comments asking
about, what is the perfect size for the joystick?
[6]
and where should I keep my joystick placement,
so today in this video we will be taking a
[10]
look at the joystick size and its placement.
[13]
and reason why your joystick gets stuck or
stops moving randomly
[16]
but first, there is a big myth about the joystick
size, many people say, if you use a smaller
[22]
joystick size your movements will be faster.
[25]
and if you use bigger joystick size your movements
will be slow but it will be more accurate,
[30]
which is not true by the way.
[31]
but why do chinese players use big joystick?
[34]
well there is a reason behind it which I will
explain later on, but first let me show you
[39]
that joystick size doesn't matter if your
using 1st layout option.
[42]
when using a small joystick you must be thinking,
since your joystick size is small, you don't
[47]
need to move your joystick far, but the thing
is,
[50]
it doesn't matter how far you move your joystick,
the speed of your movements will be the same.
[55]
for example, here i just gave a small tilt
on the joystick towards left
[59]
and this is the maximum speed you can move
towards left.
[62]
even if i pull my joystick further away, the
movement speed remains the same
[67]
even with a bigger joystick size, just by
moving your joystick very little amount, you
[72]
will reach the maximum speed limit.
[73]
and you might be thinking, with a bigger joystick
you need to drag the joystick far in order
[78]
to move faster, but that's not the case here.
[81]
even I used to think the same but its not,
and sometimes it just gives you illusions
[85]
that your moving faster when you drag the
joystick further away.
[91]
you can test this out by yourself by making
your joystick completely transparent, ask
[96]
someone to set your joystick size to either
big or small randomly.
[99]
and you won't be able to tell any difference
unless you open the settings and look at it.
[103]
so i hope you understand that the joystick
size doesn't matter.
[107]
and the same goes for the joystick position,
because in the 1st layout option, half of
[111]
your screen is for movement, while other half
is for aiming.
[115]
just for example, i'm gonna put my joystick
at a random location like this, and yet I
[119]
still move normally, because the way how this
works is.
[122]
when you touch with your finger on the left
half of the screen, it will generate a temporary
[126]
joystick which is invisible of course and
it will link all the movements to your real
[132]
joystick.
[135]
by the way there is no such thing as temporary
joystick its just for the explanation to make
[140]
it easier for you to understand
so there is no such thing as perfect joystick
[144]
placement because you can place it any where
you want,
[147]
since the left half of your screen is a huge
joystick.
[157]
and now lets talk about why some people use
big joystick especially the Chinese players,
[166]
so the most players who are using big joystick
size are most likely using 3rd layout option.
[172]
in which the joystick placement is fixed button,
suppose if you use a small joystick size in
[177]
the 3rd layout option, your joystick button
will be very small and there is a chance that
[181]
you will miss the button by a very small distance.
[184]
and since you are not touching the joystick,
it will move your aim, which is quite annoying
[188]
when it happens.
[189]
so this is why you need to have a bigger joystick
if you use the 3rd layout option.
[194]
even with a bigger joystick, still there is
a chance that it will just move your aim instead
[198]
of joystick.
[200]
but the thing that matters a lot is your sprint
distance, I wouldn't recommend putting it
[205]
too far, or too close to the joystick, it
kind-a should be in between, otherwise, you
[210]
might sprint automatically when you run.
[212]
and playing on the 3rd layout option is extremely
difficult, I played for two hours and gave
[217]
up, its just harder to play on it and when
I simply touch the joystick, it moves, which
[222]
got me killed literally every single time,
[224]
but I know some people play on the 3rd layout
option, but why?
[226]
i know they most likely got used to the 3rd
layout option and it feels easy and comfortable.
[228]
anyway now let's talk about the joystick getting
stuck or suddenly its not moving.
[232]
i can give you two possible explanations for
that, the first one, when your thumb finger
[237]
moves over the edge of the screen like this,
your joystick will stop moving because you
[241]
obviously not touching the screen, and you
don't realize that.
[245]
when your thumb finger reaches over the edge
of the screen, there is a chance that you
[248]
might be touching your phone's bezel instead
of the screen, so your phone doesn't register
[252]
the touch and the joystick will stop moving.
[255]
even if your finger goes over your phone's
notch like this, there is a chance that your
[259]
phone will stop registering touch and stops
your joystick movement.
[263]
to fix this issue, simply avoid touching your
phone's bezel, or you could place your thumb
[268]
finger a bit far from the edges of the screen.
[270]
and the next one is touch issues, one of the
most common touch issue is accidental touch,
[275]
your palm most likely touching the bottom
edge of the screen which will also registers
[280]
touch, sometimes it might move your joystick
[282]
to fix this issue, avoid your palm from touching
the bottom edge of the screen, or use a thick
[287]
phone case, or you could put a double sided
tape, near the joystick area, which will prevent
[292]
your palm from touching the display.
[295]
anyway that's all I got for this video, I
hope you learned something new if you did
