WARNING!! Diesel Fuel Shortage Fears #SHTF | $1000 Child Tax Credit In Going Out In This State - YouTube
Channel: The TEC Show
[0]
what's going on everyone welcome back to聽
the show so i have two things to talk about聽聽
[4]
today i want to talk about fuel prices and i聽
also want to talk about this child tax credit聽聽
[8]
that will be going to this particular state聽
and so it's very interesting how states are聽聽
[14]
working around this whole for stimulus聽
check and all this uh that that was the聽聽
[18]
the federal government was talking about this聽
last year they never moved forward and so now聽聽
[22]
you have states coming up with gas rebates you聽
have states coming up with their own stimulus聽聽
[27]
as well as a child tax credit so we're gonna talk聽
about that but first off on this channel we talk聽聽
[31]
about money and we talk about financial聽
struggles that americans are facing today聽聽
[35]
that sounds like something interesting to you聽
please subscribe to the channel and hit that聽聽
[37]
little bell notification that way you get notified聽
anytime we put out a video and like always if you聽聽
[41]
see my name and a picture of me in the comment聽
section make sure you see a check mark next to聽聽
[44]
my name that check mark signifies that it's me聽
if you do not see that check mark it's not me聽聽
[48]
it's someone trying to impersonate me okay so聽
uh first off i want to talk a little bit about聽聽
[54]
fuel prices and i i'm taking a different angle聽
here and i'm going to show you a clip and we don't聽聽
[61]
talk too much about diesel diesel fuel because聽
most people they don't use diesel fuel they use聽聽
[67]
a regular uh regular gasoline and so people kind聽
of forget about the the seriousness of diesel fuel聽聽
[75]
in the u.s and why this makes a huge difference if聽
the fuel prices for diesel goes way up which has聽聽
[82]
gone up i think they said like 75 percent if you聽
compare this year to last year if we're looking聽聽
[87]
at a situation like that that is very very bad聽
for all of us okay and the reason why it's bad聽聽
[94]
for all of us is because that means the price of聽
everything goes up these trucks are bringing in聽聽
[99]
everything to us okay so if they're bringing聽
everything to us that means everything goes聽聽
[104]
up and even regular gasoline prices will go up聽
because the trucks need to bring the gas to the聽聽
[110]
gas stations so i mean that's something else聽
that we don't really think about i don't know聽聽
[115]
um we're we're thinking okay well i shouldn't i'm聽
not even concerned with with with uh diesel fuel聽聽
[121]
well you need to be concerned with diesel fuel聽
because that brings everything in these truck聽聽
[125]
these truckers are bringing things to us okay聽
and and there's there's a big fear right now聽聽
[131]
that we might have a diesel fuel shortage which聽
would shut down our country and so i don't know聽聽
[137]
about you but the way that i do things and i've聽
been doing this since the pandemic and i'm not聽聽
[141]
i'm not a prepper okay but i i buy a lot of stuff聽
now and i store a lot of that stuff away okay so聽聽
[148]
i buy a lot of food i buy a lot of things that i聽
can have on a shelf for a long period of time and聽聽
[154]
i store it away and i in my garage i have it all聽
set up where i can put as much stuff as i need to聽聽
[160]
get me through a few months just in case of a聽
situation that we might be looking at when it聽聽
[164]
comes to a fuel shortage or anything like that i聽
want to be able to to know that i can stay at home聽聽
[170]
and not have to go to the grocery store to to buy聽
items and we saw during the pandemic and it was聽聽
[175]
it was pretty interesting during the pandemic聽
because i was in in colombia at that time when聽聽
[181]
it when it first kicked off i was in colombia so聽
in march of 2020 i was still in columbia i was聽聽
[187]
getting ready to come home and i'm watching聽
the news and i'm watching people fighting over聽聽
[190]
toilet paper and fighting over water and all this聽
stuff and i'm thinking wow what am i going home to聽聽
[196]
and i was not prepared i did not have a lot聽
of stuff at my place and so i'll never let聽聽
[203]
that happen again i'm always going to be聽
prepared i'm always going to have stuff聽聽
[206]
that that's at home so if i am out of the聽
country and i have to come back to the u.s and聽聽
[212]
you know i don't want to be one of those people聽
that has to stand in line and have a rationing聽聽
[216]
of water and rationing of toilet paper and all聽
this stuff so anyway let's go ahead and play聽聽
[222]
this i want to play this uh this clip real quick聽
and this is uh from a news station 13 news i'm聽聽
[227]
not exactly sure where it's coming from but we'll聽
watch it and then we'll talk about it here we go聽聽
[233]
unleaded gasoline diesel entirely different story聽
most of you don't use it but those high fuel costs聽聽
[240]
are still costing you michelle nix聽
breaks it down in this 19 consumer alert聽聽
[246]
diesel prices have jumped 75 percent from聽
a year ago that's according to triple a聽聽
[251]
fueling concerns of a possible diesel聽
shortage and in the end we all could pay聽聽
[258]
diesel fuel in short supply as聽
prices reached a record high聽聽
[262]
of 5.62 cents a gallon at the pump nationwide聽
and truck drivers owner operators in particular聽聽
[269]
feeling the squeeze on their wallets a regular聽
fill up would have been just say six months ago
[277]
about seven hundred dollars now it's about聽
a thousand fuel industry experts point to聽聽
[283]
the real possibility of a diesel fuel聽
shortage on the east coast that could聽聽
[287]
leave the economy running on fumes possibly聽
crippling an already struggling supply chain聽聽
[293]
carl anderson says in his 73 years he's never聽
seen anything like this they're gonna have聽聽
[298]
to park their rigs pamela greg who is passing聽
through northeast ohio on her way to a funeral聽聽
[303]
tells me these are scary times you know my biggest聽
concern is is when when the trucks can't get聽聽
[309]
diesel we can't get stuff to the stores we can't聽
get stuff to nursing homes we can't get fuel we聽聽
[316]
can't get anything because the trucks won't be聽
able to roll because they can't afford to put the聽聽
[321]
money into their tanks the biden administration is聽
now considering tapping the diesel reserve because聽聽
[328]
diesel literally fuels the u.s economy and if聽
it's tapped out the demand will drive up the cost聽聽
[334]
of everything for consumers you know i mean you聽
go to the grocery store now and what you used聽聽
[339]
to pay for milk two dollars and fifty cents is聽
now five dollars an emergency declaration would聽聽
[345]
be needed for president biden to release fuel聽
from a stockpile the only time that's happened聽聽
[351]
in 2012 in the aftermath of superstorm聽
sandy reporting in cleveland michelle mix聽聽
[358]
19 news okay so that was cleveland now it's very聽
very interesting just listening to to them talk聽聽
[365]
about this and i like the uh the the woman that聽
was talking uh at the the end of this of this clip聽聽
[372]
just talking about i mean it fuels everything聽
we know that right so diesel fuels everything so聽聽
[377]
we're we could be potentially in a situation where聽
if if we do have a diesel shortage on the east聽聽
[384]
coast that is going to affect the whole us and聽
that means fuel prices goes up and the scariest聽聽
[390]
part you might have truckers is to say you know聽
what i'm gonna sit out i'm not gonna i'm not gonna聽聽
[394]
do any business right now it is too expensive to聽
buy diesel right now so i'm not going to to uh聽聽
[399]
to have the truck out there bringing bringing聽
products to to the to the american people and聽聽
[403]
just think of that think of if we're looking at a聽
situation where you have demand for something and聽聽
[409]
we'll just use toilet paper for example you have a聽
demand for toilet paper but you don't have enough聽聽
[414]
trucks to bring that toilet paper in so that聽
means there's a limited supply of toilet paper聽聽
[420]
at grocery stores could you imagine how high those聽
prices will go up when it comes to toilet paper or聽聽
[425]
when it comes to any product and so that's what we聽
have to really start thinking about and i i urge i聽聽
[431]
urge everyone if you are in a situation where you聽
can stock up if you have extra money where you can聽聽
[437]
buy some items especially like toilet paper and聽
water things that are that are not going to expire聽聽
[442]
i would highly recommend doing that because you聽
do not want to be that person that goes to that聽聽
[446]
grocery store and pays 30 or 40 dollars for toilet聽
paper or 30 or 40 dollars for a case of water and聽聽
[454]
that could potentially be what we're looking at if聽
things continue to get worse and so this is one of聽聽
[459]
those stories i'm going to continue to watch and聽
i will let you guys know i'm going to probably do聽聽
[463]
a couple of videos a week just talking about聽
this because i think this is something that we're聽聽
[467]
not really focused on we're focused on inflation聽
right now we're focused on gas prices our you know聽聽
[472]
regular gas and we're focused on a lot of other聽
things the housing market and all these other聽聽
[477]
things that are going on but we're not focused聽
on diesel fuel because it's not something that聽聽
[482]
we think about every day but we we need to start聽
thinking about that because we need to have these聽聽
[487]
trucks to bring our products to us okay next door聽
i want to talk about uh so i want to talk about聽聽
[492]
this um this child tax credit okay and it's very聽
very good that that we're seeing states do this聽聽
[500]
and they're they're going uh they're going聽
alone now they have a lot of money uh from the聽聽
[505]
from coveted relief they were receiving a lot聽
of money from the federal government uh which聽聽
[511]
means us we were sending out a lot of money聽
to the states and so now some of these states聽聽
[515]
are saying you know what we're gonna return that聽
we're gonna start having different credits rebates聽聽
[522]
child tax credits um the what else we even have聽
states are talking about stimulus checks and聽聽
[529]
so when it comes down to it this is vermont that聽
we're talking about here uh governor phil scott聽聽
[534]
signed a thousand dollar child tax credit into law聽
okay so this just happened and so this is gonna be聽聽
[540]
a thousand dollars and that's for every child聽
under the age of five okay and that's and they聽聽
[547]
the income level here is 125 000 or less okay so聽
it says households making under 125 000 or less so聽聽
[555]
that's what they're looking at right now so they聽
will have a child tax credit on the way for them聽聽
[561]
now as far as gas rebates gas vouchers any聽
other type of stimulus when it comes out聽聽
[567]
of vermont i don't have any more information聽
this is the only thing that i have right now聽聽
[571]
so the child tax credit now we do know other聽
states have implemented some type of stimulus聽聽
[576]
or gas rebate so that's good and i'll keep you聽
guys up to date i do videos about this all the聽聽
[581]
time just check check my later videos you'll see聽
i'll put something in there about a stimulus check聽聽
[586]
going to a state or stimulus rebate or or some聽
type of a gas rebate going to states so just聽聽
[591]
just keep an eye on that go back you can check聽
out the videos that i've done in the past and聽聽
[595]
anytime i receive more information about a state聽
that's going to be issuing some type of a rebate聽聽
[601]
or stimulus i will make sure to let you guys know聽
if you guys have any questions let me know down聽聽
[605]
below and like i said this diesel fuel shortage聽
this is something that we really need to keep our聽聽
[610]
eye on because this can really impact us and this聽
could be a situation where not only do we fall聽聽
[616]
into a recession but we're also looking at a high聽
inflation and then even higher inflation because聽聽
[622]
we have trucks that uh that are not able to bring聽
the products to us so now we have a supply chain聽聽
[627]
shortage which we already have but it could get聽
even worse all right guys if you like this video聽聽
[632]
please give me a thumbs up please subscribe for聽
more and i'll talk to you in the next one bye
[650]
you
