the fmcsa's procedure

for showing your bipd amount associated

with your company

on the fmcsa website now

last week was very educational for me

and i'm going to

tell you a little bit of what i learned

now

when we turn in our cois
[86]
to or or actually not the cois when your
[90]
insurance company transmits
[94]
your insurance to the fmcsa
[97]
they do transmit the fact that you have
[100]
a million dollars in auto
[104]
and general liability if that is indeed
[107]
what you purchased
[109]
however what i'm learning is
[112]
that the reason why so many people are
[115]
having a problem with getting rejected
[117]
by
[117]
amazon relay is because
[120]
the fmcsa just puts down the minimum now
[124]
the minimum to get your authority is
[126]
hundred and fifty thousand dollars okay
[129]
and by the way
[130]
bipd is bodily injury
[134]
uh per uh personal damage okay property
[137]
sorry property damage okay bodily injury
[140]
property damage so the fmcsa's
[145]
least amount that they want you to be
[147]
covered
[148]
for in order to be authorized is 750
[151]
000 so that's what they put down for
[154]
everybody
[155]
a matter of fact this happened to me too
[157]
i remember
[159]
they only put down 750 000 and
[162]
i you know of course had the million and
[164]
so i had to
[165]
jump through a couple of hoops i'm going
[166]
to help you with those hoops if you stay
[169]
with me here through

this video it's only a few minutes

but i will help you um in taking care of

this problem

now um the engine one of the insurance
[181]
companies that i talked to last week
[184]
i didn't agree with with everything that
[186]
she was saying
[187]
and what she was telling me was that
[190]
the um that the fmcsa
[194]
just always puts down 750 dollars just
[197]
as a minimum it doesn't matter what
[200]
is on the paperwork uh
[203]
that your insurance company uploads to
[205]
them unless you are a hazmat carrier and
[208]
if you're a hazmat carrier and it's
[209]
noted on the fmcsa website
[212]
then yes they have to show more so they
[215]
would probably show that million
[216]
okay but that's because you're a hazmat
[219]
carrier
[220]
now um so she was trying to explain to
[224]
me that
[224]
if if the uh
[230]
person the owner got through let's say
[233]
the two-week
[234]
waiting period that amazon says it takes
[237]
for them to see your authority and
[241]
you were still getting rejected she was
[244]
saying that it wasn't
[246]
due to the fact that the 750 000 was
[249]
being listed instead of a million
[251]
she was saying it had something else to
[253]
do with the
[254]
um authority itself
[257]
which is not the case at all
[262]
and just yesterday i proved this
[265]
by somebody uh one of the subscribers
[270]
uh telling me that they got authorized
[272]
right around the first week of february
[275]
okay uh and i did his authorization and
[279]
uh or his
[279]
fmcsa application and by the way if you
[282]
need help with that

all you need to do is go to

fmcsauthority.com
[288]
you'll have my calendar there set up a
[290]
date and time
[291]
you'll have your dot number in less than
[293]
an hour okay
[294]
so he was one of my uh people that i
[296]
helped and again
[298]
so at this point he's had um
[302]
authority for what six weeks now active
[305]
so
[306]
believe me amazon can see him okay at
[310]
this point
[311]
so um we went in i was
[314]
assisting him and applying for amazon
[316]
relay his bipd
[319]
um was only 750 000
[323]
but i thought well you know this lady at
[325]
the insurance company the other day was
[327]
telling me that
[328]
you know it doesn't matter that it can
[330]
be 750 and he'll still be approved
[333]
wasn't the case um he was uh he was
[336]
denied
[338]
um but luckily it's early in the
[340]
application
[341]
where uh you know documents have not
[343]
been sent in or anything it's just
[344]
amazon couldn't
[345]
verify his dot and the correct insurance
[348]
amount
[349]
that bipd has got to show
[352]
one million dollars regardless of what
[354]
this insurance company was trying to
[356]
tell me
[356]
so here is the hack
[360]
okay you guys listening here's what i
[362]
want you to do
[364]
i want you when you're
[368]
when your authority is authorized
[371]
you need to wait at least five business
[373]
days
[374]
at the least before you apply to amazon
[377]
because of this little window they have
[378]
okay some people have been getting in
[380]
there in three
[381]
some and five some in seven a minimum of
[384]
five okay is what i'm saying i'd like to
[386]
see you go ten working days
[389]
but a minimum of five okay
[392]
during that time this is what you're
[395]
going to do you're going to email me if
[397]
i haven't already emailed you
[400]
and you're going to say hey tony um
[403]
can you give me the instructions
[406]
that i need to have the in fmcsa
[410]
bump up my uh in a bipd amount
[414]
i'm going to send you a very detailed
[417]
email
[419]
about where to go and exactly what to
[422]
put in what box and what to say
[424]
to the fmcsa and you're going to submit
[428]
two documents
[429]
you're going to submit an authorization
[431]
letter that yes it's okay
[433]
that you want to raise your
[437]
bipd amount and it's going to have your
[439]
signature and other information on that
[441]
and i tell you
[442]
exactly what to put on that your second
[445]
document you're going to
[447]
send them is your coi
[450]
certificate of insurance and then i tell
[453]
you how to do that
[455]
so then they get it maybe what on day
[457]
two or three of your authorization and
[460]
maybe by day four or day five
[462]
because it doesn't take them long to
[464]
make the change um you're at a million
[467]
and you had that waiting time anyway so
[469]
let's use the waiting time
[471]
have me help you get your bipd from 750
[475]
to a million

okay and and really all amazon

applicants are

are going to have to do that so email me
