Shredding & Melting 1000 Coca Cola Soda Cans Into Huge Aluminium Ingots - YouTube

Hey everyone my name is Ben and welcome on my channel press Tube in this video

I'm gonna make some large aluminium ingots from empty soda cans I have six pieces here

But I think I have approximately 1000 or 1100 outside so before I'm going to put them in the crucible

I will first fit him in the in the shredder

I put on a hopper so it's much easier to pour in a lot of cans at the same time

And when they are shredded they are a lot smaller

And it's much easier to fit them in the crucible because else it will take ya an entire day to melt eleven hundred or thousand

Cans so this is the crucible I will be using

it's approximately one liter a little bit more and

When they are when it's full I will pour it in this mold. This is a very heavy cast-iron mold I

Think this weighs approximately 15 or 20 kilograms

By itself so it's yeah, it's quite heavy

And I also think I can pour in two or even three of these crucibles in this mold

This is the result it took me five and a half to six hours to melt all the aluminium

There was a lot of slack on top of the aluminium because yeah

It's all the paint from those soda cans that starts floating on the top

And I had to scoop it off every time I filled in the I filled up the crucible so yeah it took

Yeah, a lot longer than when you put in a pure aluminium

But this is the result this is one crucible that I pour it in the mold

I'm very curious how much they weigh, I'll put on my scale here like this. I'm gonna start with the smallest

1.9. Kilograms, I will put the pounds in this corner

I'm not sure how many pounds that is, but I will put them in this corner over here, then this race

No it can't okay, so this is 3.7 kilograms, and this one is
