Trump CFO's Lawyers Tell Court More Indictments Likely Coming Against Trump Organization - YouTube

Well folks, we had a lot of movement on the, uh, New York investigation into the Trump
[7]
organization happened yesterday, multiple different stories coming out, all of them
[12]
with new information.
[13]
So I'm going to try to distill all of it here for you in a quick, handy little video.
[19]
Uh, first and foremost, let's talk about the fact that Allen Weisselberg, the indicted
[25]
chief financial officer of the Trump organization.
[29]
His lawyers were in court yesterday, where they told the court that they are confident
[35]
that more indictments are on the way.
[38]
Now that's a very weird thing to say in court, right?
[41]
Your guys already been indicted.
[44]
So why, why go to the court and be like, Hey, look, we know we think there's more indictments
[48]
coming.
[49]
Um, so what does that mean?
[53]
Here's what I think it means.
[54]
And again, at this point, because a lot of these proceedings by the way, are sealed,
[58]
which experts tell us is more evidence that the grand jury investigation is still ongoing.
[63]
Um, we can only surmise, you know, basically give our best guesses as to why the lawyers
[69]
would argue this point.
[70]
And what I believe is happening here is that these lawyers do not want the case to yet
[75]
move forward against Weisselberg because they need to know what other indictments are going
[82]
to come down the pipeline.
[85]
They can't properly prepare a defense for Weisselberg unless they know who all of the
[91]
co-conspirators are.
[94]
They've got to know everything that's out there.
[95]
They've got to get their hands on whatever documents from other indictments might be
[99]
out there because it might be relevant to Weisselberg case.
[103]
And depending on who it is, it could convince Weisselberg to flip.
[108]
Right?
[109]
That's the big thing.
[110]
And that to me, is what really stands out about this is that depending on who gets indicted
[115]
next, what they knew, what their position was, Weisselberg may say, okay, you know what?
[123]
I think I'm screwed at this point.
[125]
I want to change my plea and I want to, you know, uh, give you everything I got.
[131]
So that's a real possibility.
[133]
Another thing we learned a man by the name of, uh, what is it?
[136]
Matthew calamari, Matthew calamari, who was a former, I guess, like kind of bodyguard.
[142]
And then he became the chief operating chief operating officer of the actual Trump organization.
[150]
According to this, um, New York times or wall street journal, excuse me, says that the investigation
[156]
is focused on Matthew calamari.
[159]
Um, they've lived in Trump organization apartments.
[162]
Uh, Mr. Calamari has driven a company car, um, earlier this month, his son, Matthew calamari
[168]
Jr. Testified before a grand jury that continues to investigate the business affairs.
[174]
Um, okay, so now you've got calamari.
[179]
This really doesn't explain too much the wall street journal.
[181]
Didn't exactly.
[182]
Go into depth about why Mr.
[184]
Calamari might be next up.
[186]
Obviously, if he is living in these Trump, you know, the, the Trump apartments, he's
[190]
got the Trump car, those would be considered gifts.
[194]
So it would be along the same lines as what Weisselberg had, you know, uh, kind of tiddlywinks
[199]
stuff, really not like hardened criminal activity here.
[203]
So, eh, on calamari, right?
[206]
That's not the big news.
[208]
Here is one thing though.
[209]
And this, to me, biggest out of all of them, in addition to obviously more diamonds coming
[213]
down the pipeline, according to Weisselberg lawyers, 3 million documents, 3 million documents
[222]
were uncovered in the basement of an individual only identified as a co-conspirator hidden
[231]
in their basement.
[233]
Ouch.
[235]
Yeah.
[236]
If everything's on the level, if you're keeping things on the up and up, and you're not engaged
[241]
in criminal activity, uh, there's no reason to hide 3 million documents in your basement.
[248]
And that's actually another point that why Solberg's lawyers brought up in court.
[252]
You know, they held up this big package.
[254]
They were like, look, they have 3 million documents.
[256]
Uh, we gotta go through them.
[258]
Uh, so, you know, give us some time here.
[263]
So that, uh, that, that I imagine is going to raise a heck of a lot of questions who
[268]
is said, co-conspirator what is in those 3 million documents we have to wait and see,
[276]
because as of right now, we do not have answers.
[279]
As of right now, we do not know who the next indictments could get.
[283]
But one thing we do know is that this is moving forward.
[286]
The grand jury investigation is still ongoing.
[289]
Uh, back in August, actually you had attorney general Latisha, James and Manhattan district
[294]
attorney Cy Vance actually went to court.
[297]
They made a surprise appearance.
[298]
It's being called.
[299]
Uh, so they're not backing down off this and they're not done with this.
[303]
We have a long ways to go.
[306]
And if Weisselberg, his lawyers are to be believed is a heck of a lot more indictments
[312]
headed down the pipeline pretty soon.
