List of good stocks - YouTube
Channel: unknown
[0]
Hi everyone.
Welcome to today's video on today's video
[3]
we are going to speak about three
specific stocks that are great stocks.
[7]
These three businesses have given massive
returns to their stakeholders
[11]
and shareholders and these stocks are
available at a decent ether price.
[15]
Right now.
[16]
This is not an investment advice,
but I'm just trying to tell you that I am
[19]
an investor in these businesses so you
could consider doing more due diligence
[24]
and start taking positions
in these stocks accordingly.
[26]
Which three stocks you will
learn through this video?
[29]
Please watch the video till the very end.
[30]
And also It will make me
Super Super, super happy.
[33]
If you press the like button,
It would mean a lot to me.
[36]
It would encourage me to make part two
[38]
of this video where I will talk
about more so final thing.
[41]
Before I start the video,
a quick shout out to our sponsors tax
[44]
Buddy, which is a great firm
for helping you file your tax returns.
[48]
It's an end to end solution
of your tax problems.
[51]
In case you get notices
[52]
from IT Department, they can
help you file the response.
[55]
You can check the link
in the description box.
[57]
It would allow you to avail
great discounts also.
[60]
So check the link in the description box.
[62]
So let's get the video started and let me
[64]
first and foremost,
begin with the story of Asian paints.
[67]
This is a very recent episode,
so you would all align with that.
[71]
Now let me take you to my screen and let
[73]
me show you something very
interesting about Asian paints.
[75]
Now this is the daily
chart for Asian paints.
[77]
And here you will see that in the week
[79]
of 14th October, just literally
a month and a half back.
[83]
Asian paints fell
by roughly 13% in a week.
[87]
And this was the period when Nifty was
okay, Nifty was somewhat stabilized.
[92]
There was no massive problem
with the Nifty per se.
[94]
Nifty is going down right now.
[96]
But during this time, Asian Paints
was going down for some weird reason.
[99]
And what was the reason?
The reason was that?
[101]
You know what?
Some little thing has happened.
[103]
This happened, that happened.
[104]
And therefore a company like Asian Paint
is just literally going to become dust
[108]
in the next one month and people
started panic selling.
[111]
I started getting a lot of messages and I
[113]
shot a separate video saying that,
you know what?
[115]
I'm going to be a buyer in Asian themes.
[117]
I purchased a lot of stocks here
[119]
and the stocks have actually
gone up despite a falling Nifty.
[122]
Now the stocks are still in very much
[124]
dream, despite the Nifty falling
a lot over the last few days.
[128]
The lesson from this story is fairly
[129]
simple that volatility is
an opportunity to make money.
[133]
If you are invested in good stocks,
[135]
nothing bad will happen to good
stocks in a volatile environment.
[138]
Right now the environment is very
volatile so you must trade with caution.
[142]
I have made separate video on that where
you should invest versus not.
[146]
But let me take you through some analysis
of Nifty very, very quick analysis.
[150]
I've already jotted down some of the key
points that I wanted to talk about.
[154]
Now, these different lines that you see,
[155]
these are the support
levels for Nifty right now.
[158]
Now the first support we
have already broken that.
[160]
So this was the first support.
[162]
You can see that there are multiple touch
points on this line and we have broken
[166]
the support for Nifty and Nifty has
already fallen quite a bit from its peak.
[170]
Right.
So what is the total fall?
[172]
Let me just quickly take you through that.
Right.
[174]
So what has been the total
fall from the peak?
[176]
So the total fall right
now where we are trading.
[178]
So Nifty has roughly fallen
by seven and a half percent.
[181]
Right now.
This is not a major sign to worry.
[183]
It just simply points to the fact
that market has given a lot of run out.
[187]
It is starting to consolidate.
[189]
But since the Nifty has broken
Its first key support level.
[193]
Let's look at what's going to happen next.
[195]
Right now, the second support level
comes somewhere here and here.
[198]
If the Nifty touches this,
there will be a fall of another 3%
[201]
and post that if the Nifty falls,
there will be another fall of.
[207]
How much percent from the current level.
Right.
[208]
So it will fall to roughly
five and a half 6%.
[213]
That's the third level.
[214]
In case Nifty breaks this level
of support, what is the fourth level?
[218]
The fourth level will be
at eight and a half percent.
[220]
And finally, this is
the final support level.
[223]
I don't think Nifty will fall below this.
[225]
And let me draw this out for you.
[228]
So from the current level,
we might fall to this range.
[232]
Right.
And this is like a 16% correction.
[234]
Further 16% correction.
That might happen.
[236]
This is a very strong support for Nifty.
[239]
So what am I essentially saying?
[240]
I'm simply saying that right now,
[242]
if you are holding good stocks,
let's say the total value is RS100.
[247]
These can at worst go to Rs80 analyzing
the current economic scenario.
[252]
Now I am not a future forecaster.
[254]
I can't tell you whether the Nifty will
break it's further support levels or not.
[258]
But in case it happens,
if you see the entire Nifty falling
[261]
and your portfolio falling by 15%,
both the places it is, okay.
[266]
It is just a normal correction.
[267]
Don't panic.
[269]
Very, very important.
[270]
Recently, two bouts have happened about
[272]
panic selling, one in the crypto market,
one in the stock market.
[276]
Please do not panic sell.
[277]
You will lose a lot of your money.
[279]
That is the reason why I told the entire
[282]
story of Asian pains
that good stocks recover.
[285]
And one optimistic viewpoint that I can
[287]
give you is this that no matter
where the Nifty falls to.
[290]
So here we are sitting
at the current level.
[293]
Let's assume that Nifty falls here.
[295]
I can guarantee this to you.
[297]
I can guarantee this to you
that Nifty will make it speak again.
[300]
It might make it in one year.
[301]
It might make it in one and a half years.
[303]
It can make it in two years.
[304]
Okay, just not very comforting words,
[306]
but let's assume the absolute worst
case scenario that Nifty falls a lot.
[311]
It falls by 30-40%.
[313]
Also, I can guarantee that for you
[315]
that Nifty is going to make its
previous peak of approximately 18,300.
[320]
That will 100% happen.
[321]
And whenever Nifty climbs up again,
[323]
your good stocks in your portfolio
are going to show a rise.
[327]
So in such a market, what you should do is
[329]
that you should start aggregating
stocks that are very good.
[332]
They have been monopolies.
[333]
Buy them, hold them.
[334]
And whenever the Nifty corrects,
[336]
these stocks are the ones that are
going to give you the most return.
[339]
So which three stocks am I Aggregating?
[340]
The first and foremost
stock is GMM Pfaudler.
[343]
What does GMM Pfaudler do?
[344]
It is a monopoly, literally in the sense
that it is supplying glass lining material
[349]
to Pharma industries
to a bunch of pharma clients.
[352]
As the Pharma industry grows,
GMM Pfaudler has to grow with it.
[355]
Now, why am I so bullish about the stock?
[357]
Look at the performance of the
stock from March 2010 to now.
[362]
In March 2010, the sales was 194.
[365]
Now it is 1859.
[366]
That is ether last twelve month sales.
[369]
If you take a look at profits,
nine crore profits.
[372]
Now it is at 64 crores .Last three years
[375]
have been very good for them both
in terms of sales and profits.
[378]
If you check the pricing levels
[379]
of the stocks, you will see that this
black line is the 200 day moving average
[384]
and the stock is currently trading
roughly at its 200 day moving average.
[388]
So this is not a bad
time to buy the stock.
[390]
What is the major problem
that I see with the stock?
[392]
So there are two major
problems that I see.
[394]
One is that the ROC ,return
on capital employed is roughly 16%.
[398]
This is not bad.
[399]
They are breaking even in terms
of the money that they are raising
[402]
from the market and investing
and growing that money.
[405]
This is fine, especially
for a growth company.
[407]
But this ROC needs to grow with time.
[410]
So that remains to be seen if
the company can do it or not.
[413]
But for now, the sales
numbers are very impressive.
[415]
Profit numbers are very impressive.
[417]
And overall, it's a good, solid,
fundamentally sound stock.
[420]
There is absolutely no major
problem with the stock per se.
[422]
Now, if we talk about why the business is
[424]
so strong, it's literally a monopoly
business in the glass line equipment.
[428]
It has more than 50% market
share, which is myself.
[431]
It has already built a lot of corporate
[434]
relationships with a bunch of Pharma
industry clients, and they are unlikely
[437]
to switch because once you win
a contract from a large Pharma client.
[441]
They stay with you for years because
they are sure of your quality.
[445]
So they will do a lot of due diligence
before entering into a contract with you.
[448]
But once they are sure about that quality,
[451]
the switching costs for these
Pharma clients become really high.
[454]
So they tend to stay with the firm.
[455]
So therefore this year is going to stay
intact for a substantial future.
[459]
Now, if you take a look at product price
revenues, they are into proprietary
[463]
products which they are
themselves manufacturing.
[465]
They do heavy engineering,
they do glass lined products.
[468]
This is where the monopoly comes
[469]
from and they are a well diversified
business in terms of the location
[473]
in India, their sales is 61% and rest
of the world the sales is 38%.
[477]
Now the great thing that is happening
in the Pharma industry,
[480]
especially for India, is that China has
lost a lot of API sales to Europe and US.
[486]
Now India has started exporting a lot
of API from India to US and Europe.
[491]
As a result, these European and US
[493]
clients, they have started
trusting the Indian brands.
[496]
So the next leg of growth in this
[497]
development and this is where I am betting
on GMM Pfaudler is that their sales might
[502]
increase outside India quite
aggressively in the coming few years.
[506]
That needs to happen for this
year to become rocket.
[509]
But right now also it's a decent stock.
[511]
Even with pure growth numbers.
[512]
It's justifiable to buy this stock.
[514]
So this is the first key stock.
[516]
If you want me to make a more detailed
[518]
analysis and compare it to some
other stock, I'm happy to do it.
[521]
Let me know in the comments.
[522]
The second stock that I'm going
to speak about is HDFC bank.
[526]
So first and foremost, let me take you
through the buying range for HDFC bank.
[530]
If you take a look at it,
[531]
the stock is trading roughly
at its 200 day moving average.
[534]
It's a great stock at one of the most
profitable banks in India.
[538]
Now why am I so bullish about HDFC bank?
[541]
I had made a separate video on that.
[543]
But let me take you through
some of the key points.
[545]
First and foremost, the balance
sheet is extremely strong.
[548]
We have strong financing profit
and it was the only bank.
[551]
Let me know if their are other banks or at
least what I could find from my research.
[555]
Hdfc bank was the only bank during the
[558]
Covid time which had net
positive financing profits.
[562]
What are the financing profit?
[563]
These are the financing profits.
[564]
If you check this for majority
[566]
of the other banks, it was
a negative for HDFC bank.
[569]
This was positive despite COVID and COVID
was probably the worst time for banks
[574]
because all the business
activities stopped.
[576]
No one wanted loans,
people were just depositing money
[579]
in the bank account and banks had
to pay interest on that loan.
[582]
So as a result, financing profits
became negative for the banks.
[585]
But HDFC bank was able
to mitigate this situation.
[588]
Now this is just one part of the entire
[590]
narrative around HDFC bank
that it is a great bank.
[593]
Great numbers, everything good.
[595]
But what is the winning
recipe for HDFC bank?
[598]
So here we need to take a look
at the history of HDFC bank a little bit.
[601]
If you try to understand why did HDFC bank
grew so fast over the last 15 odd years?
[607]
One of the primary reasons for that was
[609]
that HDFC bank, despite all their issues
with SMS services and Net banking,
[614]
they were the first bank that used
Internet based core banking solutions
[618]
that made the transaction speed
of their payments processing faster.
[622]
That made the deposit and withdrawal
of checks faster across different cities.
[628]
That is what allowed them to win
a lot of corporate lines.
[631]
Now why am I stressing on this part?
[633]
Because the next layer of growth that will
[634]
come from banking,
especially for these top banks like ICICI,
[637]
HDFC, Kotak, it will come from you and I
as customers interacting more and more
[643]
with the bank in terms of the products
that they are selling us.
[645]
Why is this important?
[646]
Because you might have observed
that you and I don't go to bank much.
[650]
Tell me the last time you would have
[651]
physically visited your bank,
we don't do that much right.
[653]
For example, compared to our grandparents
or parents, our parents and grandparents
[657]
used to go to bank almost every
single week, but we hardly do it.
[660]
Maybe like once every two or
three months we might do it.
[663]
This is a super interesting
question for me.
[664]
So let me know in the comments, how many
times do you visit your bank physically?
[668]
Point.
I'm trying to drive home.
[670]
Is this that since we are not visiting our
banks and banks are selling us more
[673]
and more products, what is it
that they need to do really well?
[677]
They need to have number one excellent
relationships with their customers.
[680]
Hdfc bank and ICICI bank and Kotak Bank
are better in that sense.
[684]
Number two, they must understand ether,
[686]
tech play and integrate that into their
banking services. Now this is slightly
[691]
more futuristic that how are they going
to implement RPA robotic process
[695]
optimization to save on cost? How are they
going to automate service queries? How are
[699]
they going to allow us to invest outside
India at a much lower prices? Are they
[704]
going to adopt some
decentralized finance systems?
[707]
All these involving a lot of tech
or the next layer of tech?
[712]
So all the banks that are cash rich
that have a vision that want
[715]
to aggressively grow would
benefit from this change.
[718]
And this change is happening
[719]
in the banking industry as we speak next
five years are going to be critical
[723]
because post covid whichever two,
three banks are going to win this race,
[726]
they are going to be set
for the next 15 years.
[729]
Another key change that is happening
[731]
in the banking industry is
the availability of cheap credit.
[734]
If you take a look at the interest rates,
the interest rates are close to zero.
[737]
0%.
This is unprecedented.
[740]
This does not happen too often
for such a long duration of time.
[743]
The interest rates have
been low post 2008.
[745]
Now they are literally hitting
zero Mark in developed economy.
[748]
What does this mean?
[749]
This means that banks are going
to get access to cheap credit.
[752]
Now they might not pass on all
the benefits to their customers.
[756]
For example, with the interest rates going
[758]
down, it's not as if the housing loan
rates have come down proportionally.
[762]
So banks are going to make more
profits from this entire equation.
[765]
And again it depends on their
loan giving abilities.
[768]
Now HDFC bank is uniquely
poised to give a lot of loans.
[772]
This is again reflected from their
[774]
positive financing profit
in the 2020 testing times.
[778]
All these are subtle points.
[779]
You will not read this
in a book or a newspaper.
[781]
So if you like the insights do press
[783]
the like button that will
make me super happy.
[784]
But to cut the long story short,
HDFC bank is still a pioneer.
[788]
It is still going to benefit a lot
because it has very strong balance sheet.
[792]
It has the cash money vision,
[794]
prior history of accelerating growth
and there is absolutely no reason why it
[798]
can't do it again and still be
the leader for the next 15 years.
[802]
Now the third stock that I am super
[803]
bullish about is life insurance
companies in general.
[806]
And I'm especially bullish about HDFC life
[809]
insurance company because
it is a very clean group.
[811]
Right.
[811]
So let me first and foremost talk about
the buying range for HDFC Life here you
[815]
can clearly see the 200 DMA and the stock
is trading below its 200 DMA.
[820]
So great time to start
aggregating the stock.
[822]
I'm definitely doing it.
[823]
I've already purchased.
[825]
I'm going to purchase even more.
[826]
So this is about the buying level and let
[828]
me give you some commentary in terms
of its numbers and profit statements.
[831]
So let's look at the story.
[833]
From 2013 onwards sales were 14,000 Cr.
[835]
It has gone berserk right.
[837]
In the last seven years
it has gone up manifold.
[840]
Right.
So this is really amazing.
[842]
This has literally gone up by five times
[844]
in close to seven, eight years,
which is really amazing.
[846]
Profits again have gone up by almost
three X in the last seven or eight years.
[850]
Again, really good numbers.
[852]
Good, justifiable numbers that's 1 second.
[855]
Take a look at the nature of the product
[857]
and how people are grasping this
product in current scenario.
[860]
What do I mean by that?
[861]
Let me help you understand this.
[863]
In 2020 alone.
[864]
Post Covid Four of my extended family
members have taken life insurance.
[869]
They were not having life insurance
[871]
before, but now they have taken it because
they realize the gravity of this entire
[875]
situation of life insurance,
health insurance.
[877]
And they are considering these
options more prominently.
[880]
There is an entire narrative that has
changed around the healthcare systems
[883]
in India, people who are being coy
about their health care options.
[886]
But 2020 has taught us we
need to invest in our health.
[890]
We need to invest in purchasing
a health insurance.
[892]
We need to have a life insurance because
[894]
life is very uncertain and this
narrative is not going away.
[898]
Covid is edged in everyone's memory
and having a health insurance and life
[902]
insurance and focusing on your health
has become the priority for people.
[906]
So this was always an inelastic product,
but now it has become even more inelastic.
[913]
Now what is the meaning
of inelastic product?
[915]
Inelastic products simply means,
for example, cigarette.
[917]
Now, cigarette is an inelastic product
because once people get into the habit
[921]
of smoking, they have to smoke
no matter what the price is.
[924]
It's very difficult to give up that habit
[926]
and very few people are able to
successfully quit the habit of smoking.
[930]
So if you're a kid who is watching this,
[931]
don't smoke first and foremost. But
on the flip side, if we talk about elastic
[935]
products, elastic product means that,
for example, if you eat McDonald's ice
[939]
cream, now, if McDonald decides and you
know what, we are going to increase our
[942]
ice cream prices by five X,
then will you eat at McDonald's? No,
[946]
probably you'll go and eat
at Baskin-Robbins
[948]
because products like ice cream
has a very elastic demand.
[951]
So you don't need to stress too much about
eating just at McDonald's,
[954]
you have 100 different options and you
don't even probably need to eat it.
[958]
You can probably go and have a
Rasgulla or a Rasmalai, right?
[960]
If you feel like having sweet.
[962]
So you have more options there.
[963]
But with cigarette highly inelastic
demand, if you are a smoker,
[966]
then you have to have cigarette
and you don't have any other option.
[969]
So the nature of the product of health
insurance and life insurance is such right
[973]
now that it has become
a highly inelastic product.
[977]
People cannot negotiate on it.
[978]
This is a A. B. The price rise is
happening in the health care sector
[982]
in India and even the life
insurance companies.
[985]
They are increasing
their premiums by a lot.
[987]
I had spoken about it separately
on another video, but very shortly,
[992]
the price hike of 40% will
happen on your premium.
[994]
40% price hike on premiums, which is huge.
[997]
So you need to understand that the moment
[999]
this price hike happens,
these companies will become more and more
[1002]
profitable with time because they are just
increasing their prices with every single
[1007]
year and they will become
massively profitable.
[1009]
So this is a good business
to invest, in my opinion.
[1012]
So three businesses that I talked about.
[1014]
One is GMM Pfaudler .
[1015]
As the Pharma industry grows, something
like GMM Pfaudler has to grow with it.
[1019]
Second HDFC bank, it was a pioneer.
[1022]
It has great balance sheet,
great history, great vision.
[1025]
And as the next leg of banking transpires
[1028]
in India, HDFC bank will grow with it
third and finally,
[1031]
we are looking at HDFC Life and there are
other life insurance companies as well.
[1035]
Let me know if you would want
me to make a video on that.
[1037]
Hdfc Life is going to grow because
[1039]
of the inelastic nature of the product
and the sudden price rise
[1043]
that HDFC Life Insurance and other
insurance companies are undertaking.
[1046]
