Now, generally

So when I took the level-1, I cleared it

I told many people that I've cleared it

Everyone way saying that it's ok! level-1 is Easy

The real thing is Level-2

clear level-2 if you can!

Level-2 is Hard, concepts are difficult

to get, Level-2 Involves a complicated topic

After hearing all of that

What happened to me was

I developed this certain fear

As I am not a brilliant student

I am just an average student!

Probably just above average student and

I was never a brilliant student

To know that level-2 is going to be a Hard chase

I won't be able to understand many things

This fear developed Inside me

I talked to 1or 2 people, checked it online

But fear kept on increasing

So Ultimately, I started the whole Curriculum

on a fearful note

so whenever I used to open any book

let's say any particular topic, let's say

I am talking about Qualitative analysis

so when I am doing Qualitative analysis

and on every topic, I was thinking

that anyhow this will pass, and I can understand

somehow it will pass and I can learn topic

Ultimately this was my Objective

when I was studying

use to pick up one topic

clear, Not Hard at all

second topic,

clear, very easy

when I did third topic, I got two doubts

so I wrote them down to do later

still not that big issues that cant be understood

so after some time I realized

The concepts are again not very Complicated

I don't know who created this Rumour

that CFA level-2 is very complicated, or Hard

to understand

But personally what I realized is

CFA level-2 the concepts of CFA level-2

It'll take a little more time as compared to level-1

Level-1 has straightforward concepts

and logical too, you can go through it

In level-2 you'll need little understanding

you'll need to spend time with it, That's about it

And spending time doesn't mean that

you have to be a Genius

Then only you can Crack it, nothing is like that

so ultimately what you have to do is just

spend a little more time, this is something

which I really realize

so if you are in my situation

or do you want to apply to CFA

or thinking that you can pass level-1

or how you'll be able to do level-1,2,3

Is it possible for me or not, let me tell you this

That it is not Hard

The only thing that depends on you

If you are clear in mind

I want to get that 3 letters in front of my name

Irrespective of your grades in school, college

But what they did was

They always had an option whether to pursue CFA

if didn't work out with CFA then I'll go

Into the Masters' stream, I'll go abroad for

Now if they already have this in mind that

If not this then I'll do that

if you a plan-B also

so, you'll never focus on plan-A

As plan-A is hard

Plan-A is really hard, clearly

You have to put in your time, you have

to put in your effort,

if you'll have a plan-B,

There is a tendency of a person to go from

Plan-A to B, as plan-B, seems easier

So this is something to keep in mind, that

now one more fear which I had

that I have a slow reading speed

If I am reading a book, then generally

I'll take twice as time as taken by other person

I generally take 1.5 times or 2 times more time

so my reading speed is slow

and this is something which I've worked upon

now it's better

but still if would wish something

then I would've wished for my reading speed

to increase, That will help me a lot

In almost all aspects, right

now let's talk about CFA

So questions on CFA level-2

They are in a case study format so you'll

get a case study and on that

you are given some questions

I used to think that

That it is a case study and already

my reading speed is so slow

so first I'll read the whole case study

then read the question, then
[357]
I'll go back to case study to learn more things

then answer the question, how will I do it?

I won't be able to do it, not possible for me

But then you'll realize that

that case study
[369]
is relatively
[371]
made simple, why?

as if there is a question-1 in case study
[375]
you'll be able to find its details related to

answer at the top of the case study

so CFA doesn't trick you

But putting the details in different corners

CFA is not that tricky

Because the main purpose of CFA

is not that they want to check if you are sharp

enough to find the details

CFA is not testing that, CFA is just

Testing that, do you understand

the concept or not

If you understand the concept, you'll get

the answer, & if not you will not be able to

find the answers, this is how

they have created the questions and

Question paper itself!

and this why, we say quality of paper

How to define the Quality of paper?

It is defined by how

well it can Segregate the people who

actually know and who do not know

and a good quality examination can

segregate these 2 people very easily

and I feel CFA has a very high-quality Examination

one of the highest Quality Examination

I have given in my life, definitely more than

my Board and College exams

clearly much more than CA as compared to

many other people

so ultimately, Questions are not that hard

and jumbled up!

So if you have those kinds of fear

so don't worry it is pretty simple and

straight forward

now the next thing is

Throughout my personal journey

I had many breakdowns

at any certain point in time, I was like

no, I can't do it!

No, it is not my cup of tea

I am stuck here by mistake! I don't know why

why did I even try?

and why am I doing this

There was the question I had in my mind

Now, such question will also come to your mind

and specifically, if you are very serious

about clearing CFA, then for sure you'll have such

thoughts

That's why you just have to make a system

how did you come out of this certain trap?

why? because I feel this is a trap

One bad thought is letting you

from not clearing CFA
[506]
That bad thought gives you another bad thought

let's say, I won't be able to clear CFA level-2

I have wasted money on this,

This and that

Then comes the second bad thought, then 3rd

4th bad thought and so on

by just like this you just fall down the stairs

And this is something which is

Not good at all,

So at these points in time

You have to change the trend

As I am a stock market person, so

I too know the trend and how it works

So if the downtrend is happening

then it'll keep on happening and

same with uptrend

So, now when your mindset is on Downtrend

You somehow have to take it on an uptrend

And this uptrend, I feel is the best through

Listening to some songs

Personally, it felt best for me

I am not sure about you, but

Few songs which I really vibe with

and connect with them at emotional level

so, if I listen to those songs

I get that same energy, It is like

Transferring of energy

Then you'll be like, now I'll clear it, for sure!

One song which I heard a lot throughout

In my CFA level-2 preparation

was not Afraid by Eminem!

And this certain song

was exactly what I was feeling

If you go through the Lyrics

It is all about a certain fear, a certain

a person who is afraid of something & he is

not able to breakthrough

I felt like I am part of this song

And when I felt that, I really

felt that song!

And whenever I felt bad, I used

to listen to this song

And after listening to that, I was full of energy

Now I have to clear it anyhow!

I am here, I have given it

I have already cleared level-1 and

I have come so far

I can't go back from here

now I'll put my all efforts

And we'll see the result it might

I don't know the result

And I don't have any control over it but

I'll give my 100%, that is what I am here for!

And that I used to do!

That helped me a lot

And I really feel that these are

some things that you should have

Probably it might be working out for you

it might be songs or something else

But these small things you should have

with yourself,

because such time will come

But again, all in all

CFA level-2 is something

Which was really fearful for me!

But in reality there we no such fear in that exam

It just needs a little more time

and also this might happen that

you will not be able to understand 1-2 topics or

concept, you'll be completely stuck at it

you won't be able to understand it
[675]
And it is all right!

CFA does not want you to have

100% score

They don't want it,

They just want, that you should know 70% content

and score 70%, If you

can score 70%, that is great, And you'll crack it

So if you are stuck in 1-2 concepts,

unable to understand them

Leave it! It is better to focus on other things

If you are unable to understand it

You can actually afford to leave 1-2 concept

Depends on how important that concept is

and that you'll find out after

Studying,Going through question and Mock test

You'll be able to figure out the

Importance of those concepts
