a little bit yesterday kind of had a weird feeling

all day yesterday i had a weird feeling

laying down going to sleep last night i had a  weird feeling all day today i've had a weird  

feeling it's kind of like the subconscious  knows when something's about to go awry

and i was almost to the point where i was about  to start calling everybody another because i  

don't like those eerie feelings i knew something  was going on i knew something was about to happen  

i knew something was up and i just figured it out

i guess i can't be that dramatic about it i  mean it's a good problem to have it just sucks

see what i did yesterday before i got the truck  and i hauled tail over to huntsville to pick up  

this load of engine crates for navistar  uh international navistar engine crates  

i thought it's kind of funny they're  powered i got a cummins powered unit taken  

their engine plates or crates or  whatever you have you i got to ohio

but before i did that yesterday i finally  crammed i know i'm a slacker that's just  

what i do sometimes my posse is my  nature sometimes i'm just half an ass

not everything just some things and  this happens to be follow my taxes

in central i'm having a breakdown  back here get out of my way jesus

oh i don't have any moments like this but man i am  

i don't know i'm not mad i'm  not upset i'm just taking

my surprise i guess i shouldn't be i mean  we all come out here to make more money

so i can't be mad that i came  out here and i made more money  

i guess i got a plan better put me in a uh a slack  ass i gotta set more to the wayside for taxes

and i'm gonna get to what my tax bill is

i'm lost for words loss for words i  mean i mean it's a good problem to have  

it is but at the same time the  amount of money i got to come up with  

oh with the money in my savings money and and and  investments yeah i can i can i can pull it right  

now but still it's a hard pill to swallow it's  a very hard pill to swallow it's a lot of money

and the thing is i don't want to touch  my investments i want to let that  

stay there because when the economy  freaking tanks i took a lot of what i had  

and i sunk into it so i learned back in  2008 when the economy crash was seven eight

in 2008 i was buying citibank for 99 a share i  was buying sirius xm i think it's just serious  

radio then for 17 cents a share i was buying  fannie mae and freddie mac for man it was nothing  

the most biggest most disappointing letdown was  pilgrim pride pilgrim pride is big in the south  

he's a big chicken producer and i was buying  that stuff at 20 cents at 25 cents now bear in  

mind this company was in chapter 11 i think it  was i think they've done 11 maybe 13 maybe 11.  

i don't know it's been a long time ago uh 13 years  ago 12 years ago but they never reset the shares  

i made a lot of money with it but i'd take a  quick flip reinvest take quick flip reinvest  

i made quite a few thousand dollars but  if i had what i had now what i had then

i hate to be rude but you wouldn't know who  i am because i would probably be retired  

sitting on the beach it's in my ties  just left my old lady on the bus but  

i didn't so i learned so anyway  when the economy crashed with kovid  

i took a lot of money and i invested it and stuff  that i know will come back up and if i don't you  

know what we live once you gotta risk it to get  the biscuit that's just the end of the story  

but i'm side tracking here i'm rambling i'm  sorry um i don't want to touch my investments  

so i will have to make arrangements  over the next two months to pay my taxes  

and i'm gonna give you the advice i'm gonna  i'm gonna let it play out look just like  

it happened i'm trying to make this short  and sweet before i get up here to sensing  

so i got a hold of my account this morning  i said hey i got my profit loss done i got  

all the forms over i'm sending it to you she  said okay sweet she text me ten minutes ago  

see i mean this is fresh off the  breasts man that's just like that gum  

hot cakes when you pass by you know krispy  kreme that's fresh that's why i'm tore up  

i usually don't make videos when i'm like  this which i've never ever liked this but  

anyway i figured i'd share because it's a  good problem to have it just sucks it just

sucks but she sent me a message she said  

you owe federal that's on my phone and  my phone's got the screen recorder up

you owe federal 9 000 and some odd dollars you  owe state 2088 i do remember the 88 on a little  

small change so we're talking almost  twelve thousand dollars how will my taxes  

last year i got out scot-free and  just like 3 500 maybe this year 12.

like i said it's a good problem to have  it just sucks it's a hard pill to swallow  

because twelve thousand dollars that's a  hard check to cut that's a lot of money i  

know people back home at work don't make  twelve thousand dollars the whole year

but anyway she texted to me i said sheesh  

she takes me back well you made a lot of money  you made xyz you grossed this you profited this  

you made a lot of money sammy so i i i can't text  i'm i'm tore up i'm called her up i said you know  

you could have better news and she said  what can i say you make a lot of money  

i said what i think about what i did  last year and she's like well not really  

she said you your your net this year is uh well  above that and i said well i said i still make  

it gross about the same i still this about the  same it's still that about the same and she said  

well i'll show your depreciation and she gave me  some advice what i should do now i'm stuck between  

the rock and hard place i don't know which way to  go because what she said to do i don't want to do  

but if i don't do it every year if i make a  lot of money i'm going to owe a lot damage

i need a happy medium that's  what i need a happy medium  

so anyway she said last year you depreciated  uh the biggest portion of your truck this year  

we only had fifteen thousand dollars left  to appreciate she said that was a big cut  

she said also last year your maintenance uh your  maintenance was higher than this year which this  

year well not this year 2019 2019 my maintenance  i think i spent 12 000 i'm like what do you mean

thousand dollars i'll talk about new tires  engine work and not just recent engine work  

but you know previous engine work to make  this thing bulletproof so anyway it's been  

a few thousand more that's like but that  don't add up and she said well the biggest  

reason is the depreciation of your truck i  said so you're what you're saying is they  

got three years 17 18 19 in 2020 this year come  to end of this year i'm royally [ __ ] she said  

yeah so she suggested i need to upgrade i'm like  i don't want to upgrade that's another payment i  

want to get this thing paid for she said well she  said the way i look at it you could even spend  

twelve fifteen thousand dollars a year giving  it to the government or you could you use that  

same depreciation with a truck payment and  i'm like that dang it i hate when you make  

sense that's what i love i love stuff that makes  sense and it makes sense so i might be upgrading  

it's a hard pill to swallow leave in the  comments should i upgrade or get rid of  

or keep lma and just find other ways to come  up with tax reduction i don't know hookers  

and blow i don't i don't know what y'all  tell me cause that's a lot of money jesus

i don't know i'm just i'm just uh beside  myself twelve thousand dollars good god

but anyway it is what it is we all try to  come into this game and make a lot of money  

only to get bit in the butt when we do it's a  good problem to have it just sucks so i guess

yeah i hope i guess we do like we always do in  trucking because we're tough breed we have that  

we overcome so that's what we want to do and  uh i guess my rant's over with i just had to  

visit somebody i ain't called the wife yet  because that's going to turn her nerves up  

and trust me you're saying this  after she knows about it so  

it ain't spilling the beans but yeah  looks like the next two months is

throwing all my extra moneys on taxes  anyways guys if you're still hanging
