Hello there, my name is Shaq. Quite frequently I asked a question. Which is
[15]
when is the best time of the day to do a driving test? I thought I make a quick
[21]
video to answer these questions. Now in my opinion, if you are ready for your
[28]
test, the time should make no difference at all. However, there are a few things
[37]
that you may want to take into account when you book your driving test. If you
[45]
have taken all your driving lessons on a particular day and a particular time. For
[51]
example, let's say you've taken all your lessons on a Sunday morning at 8 a.m.
[57]
and then you were to book your driving test
[61]
on a Friday afternoon let's say 3 p.m. You would definitely be in for a shock.
[68]
The road and traffic conditions will be completely different to what you are
[75]
used to. Another thing that you may want to take into account is that Danish
[82]
scientists has recently found that the ability to perform basic tests decreases
[91]
throughout the day. According to these scientists, you have a 5 percent better
[98]
chance of passing your driving test at 8 o'clock in the morning than you do at 3
[105]
p.m. in the afternoon. Now before you all decide to book your driving test early
[113]
in the morning, there is something else that you may want to take into account.
[120]
The early morning tests are more likely to be cancelled than at any other time
[128]
of the day. Driving tests are cancelled by the DVSA
[133]
usually for two reasons. Firstly the examiner may phone in sick. So if the
[142]
examiner phoned the office at let's say 7 o'clock in the morning and said I'm not
[148]
coming into work today. I'm not feeling well. it may take the DVSA
[153]
one, two, maybe three hours to arrange alternative cover. Those tests from seven
[164]
o'clock to let's say ten eleven o'clock will be canceled and rearranged. Also,
[172]
during the winter months the early morning tests are usually cancelled due
[178]
to ice on the roads. Throughout the daytime as a temperature rises, the ice
[185]
clears and the driving tests are conducted the tests that are conducted.
[193]
During the rush hour tend to involve less driving. However, there is more
[200]
start/stop traffic, more clutch control and a lot of mirror work. The driving
[208]
tests that are taken off peak hours, let's say between 10 o'clock and 2
[213]
o'clock will involve less traffic. It may seem easier but the exam that
[220]
will take you further afield covering more dual carriageways and multi-lane
[226]
roundabouts. Regardless of what time your test is, if you drive positively and
[235]
safe, you will pass your driving test. Please like and subscribe share with
