we are here on the rooftop of  the most expensive penthouse in  

all of los angeles renting for 125 000  per month my name is eric conover and  

i'm going to take you on a tour of  this one-of-a-kind luxury listing

oh

now some stats on the penthouse it has five  bedrooms ten bathrooms twenty thousand square  

feet of interior living space with an additional  five thousand square feet of wraparound terrace  

renting again for 125 000 per month i want to  give a huge thanks to our friends at the ani

let's check out the penthouse right below us  where we're going to give you an exclusive  

first look at this incredible property so  entering this penthouse you come off your  

very own private elevator landing with this ornate  bubble chandelier overhead and just check this out  

we enter into your formal great room slash i mean  ballroom you could definitely call this a ballroom  

these are 23 foot high ceilings the entire floor  of this place is white calcutta marble and each  

slab is just about 4 foot by two foot so  these are huge slabs of calcutta marble  

just from the scale of this place i mean the first  time i walked in here i didn't have words just for  

how large this space is this would essentially  be a wet bar oversized wet bar because it's  

not a full kitchen we have the slate here on the  countertop and the backsplash all these intricate  

woven details on this cabinetry that run up the  entire length here it's pretty impressive even  

these awesome modern chandeliers if you check out  the ceilings they're coffered and you have sound  

built into the entire space aside from this great  room let's just take a nice long walk and i mean  

you could fit hundreds of people in here this  is built for an entertainer and the developer  

ani when i sat down and i asked them you know what  was the purpose behind making this so grand they  

said bigger is better so here you go wait till  you check this out to these sliding glass doors  

this is your three-tiered three-leveled  open-air outdoor promenade let me just  

check out that metal staircase behind me all the  ornate lighting this is now your outdoor kitchen  

slash bar area we have this fire piece right  here gas fireplace built-in sink here we have  

your full outdoor kitchen with your weber grill  ice maker refrigerator and even actually a tap  

which is pretty sweet we'll make our way over here  you have all the views of downtown los angeles  

right for your private open air terrace so this  house like i mentioned is built for entertaining  

this is your 250 bottle wine chamber now check  this out because the ceilings throughout the whole  

place are 23 feet you actually have this ladder so  you can climb up and access your favorite bottle  

with all this vertical wine storage it's super  impressive keep this shut keep it nice and chilly  

in here but from this wine cellar area we're now  going to enter the formal gourmet chef's kitchen  

in this mansion and i want to point something  out you may notice there's no staging in here  

and that was done very specifically so right here  would be your dining room table you can see this  

overhanging chandelier pretty low the reason for  that is because staging would cost just about one  

million dollars to stage this entire place and the  person who buys this is going to really customize  

it for themselves so i think even without  staging you can really get the picture of just  

the opulence of this place so like i mentioned  this would be your dining room table area this  

portion of the island would be your breakfast bar  area and we're gonna make our way down this island  

here you have your built-in subzero dual  refrigerator with this awesome oak panel  

on the side two freezers down below in the pullout  drawers gotta love that and then here we have that  

dark marble on the countertop and the backsplash  i didn't even notice that look at that pull out  

drawers the cabinets are all white lacquer now  this is pretty awesome this is your six burner  

wolf cooktop and the oversized vent which is all  marble that's all calculated marble the cabinetry  

goes up the entire ceiling height so you have this  sliding library ladder which you can then climb up  

and access your cabinets up here which are all  pushed to open it might not be the most functional  

but who can say they have a double height kitchen  with 23-foot ceilings that was the point in  

designing this place just bigger is better we have  all the wolf suite appliances here with the dual  

washers side by side essentially three sinks here  so the two prep sinks and then the main sink off  

to my right through this push door welcome to your  secondary chef's prep kitchen so aside from that  

main kitchen we have this entire dedicated kitchen  for if you're hosting an event you have your prep  

sink here industrial wolf cooktop six burner  with the hood over top here you have your pot  

filler so if you are really preparing a feast you  can do that here and we even have the commercial  

grade refrigerator right here these only are in  restaurants these aren't in residential homes so  

this is pretty impressive to say the least and  we'll make our way back out i also do love how  

this is just very discreetly hidden push to open  soft close everything with a kitchen like this it

kitchen this would be almost like a little media  room entertainment area you have all your hookups  

for your tv and again just floor to ceiling glass  throughout the entire space and even you can have

back onto your outdoor terrace flow in out it's  pretty i mean i i keep thinking it's impressive  

because you can hopefully see from the scale i've  never seen a penthouse like this there isn't a  

penthouse in los angeles like this that exists  so now we're gonna head into my favorite room  

welcome to your home theater fully decked out home  theater you have your screen right here even your  

home theater has its own private terrace which is  disconnected from that main one which runs them  

the entire length if we're looking down here  of the space which we'll see later i'm going  

to actually cut some clips of the daytime view so  you can see what this is like during the daytime  

it is just as impressive if not more also i want  to mention that these are all automatic blinds  

so this is full blackout full immersion in your  theater experience we're gonna head around this  

way now so essentially the ladder this place  is just a big circle so now we're heading back

this is the owner's wing and this is pretty  spectacular this owner's wing alone this is  

4 000 square feet so this would be a very  large apartment anywhere else in the world  

so entering the owner's wing first here we have  this nice little uh essentially a vanity area  

you know you put your keys down here whatever  get ready look at yourself before you head out  

but i want you to see this this is the owner's  bathroom 23 foot high ceilings marble everywhere  

your vanity your full length mirror with  these chandeliers hanging from the ceiling  

white oak on the drawers all  of them have the brass fixtures  

here we have your i'm just gonna walk in here so  you can see the perspective of a person in here  

this is your dual rainfall steam shower with  this huge piece of marbles the backsplash  

all the steel accents here just the vertical  living it's it's kind of hard to comprehend  

it's definitely a flex and it's essentially  a mirror image so right in the center we have  

your soaking tub here with your stainless steel  fixtures views of downtown the hills and then on  

this other side it's essentially a mirror image  of what we just saw with your vanity and then  

actually we have additionally two water closets  with the frosted glass here now gonna enter the  

owner's bedroom and just take a peek at this this  is what 125 thousand dollars per month rents you  

in los angeles this is the most expensive  penthouse in the city like i said and this is the  

primary bedroom over top these awesome modern  chandeliers in the corner here we have your wet  

bar because you know you don't want to go to  your kitchen in the middle of the night if you  

have a place like this all this recessed lighting  into this marble on the cabinets below you have  

all this zebra wood here on the exterior with  all of your built-ins so you have your freezer  

refrigerator sub-zero drawers just to save  and optimize that space here even more storage  

then behind me you have an additional outdoor  tear space off of the owner's wing here just to  

have a nice little moment overlooking los angeles  so heading back in from your private outdoor space  

one more look here at your owner's bedroom just  to get that full perspective of how large this  

space is we're now going to head here off to the  left essentially it's a big loop so just for some  

frame of reference off to my left here this is the  bathroom and off to my right this is we'll check  

this out this is the larger of the two closets  and i want you to look up at the ceiling here  

for a second with the click of a button you have  your drop down private storage unit now just in  

case two walk-in closets weren't enough above the  second one we have this attic storage area which  

if this was an apartment in new york city  where i'm from this would probably go for  

two grand easily the place is still under  construction so there's some maintenance going on  

but let's just look at the site like this is  a proper studio apartment in new york city  

and this is just your additional attic storage  space pretty insane but we're gonna head back  

down now all right heading back down this could  additionally i mean the world's a pretty crazy  

place today this could also be used as a safe room  just in case i'm not putting that out there but  

the option is there and with the click  of a button automates right back up

and pockets into the ceiling of your  secondary walk-in closet and then  

right back up so we're gonna head back  out through your closet exit into the  

main hallway which brings us back to that  grand ballroom great room entertaining space  

and you'll notice here this is your  floating calcutta white marble staircase

welcome to your upper level entertainment  terrace so check this out follow me this way  

this is the only apartment in the entire  world with a 40 foot rock climbing wall  

on the rooftop terrace just take a look at  this this is one of those things where you  

might not even realize that you need it but  it's right here if we continue on this way  

we have your built-in hot tub which could easily  fit 20 people then we have your 40 foot long  

salt water infinity edge swimming pool overlooking  all valet off to the distance freestanding shower  

and if we make our way down the  stairwell to your lower level terrace  

we have more entertaining space down here  built-in fireplace and then this additional  

seating slash entertaining area right in front  of the pool here this is all on the third floor  

we already saw the terrace downstairs this is an  additional 4 000 square feet of entertaining space  

through this glass door here this is actually a  separate wellness wing in this penthouse it has a  

juice bar this whole space where you could have a  home gym even a pilates yoga studio all right here  

and the coolest thing is this beautiful staircase  connects this top-level terrace to the bottom one  

here it goes all three floors of this penthouse  leading it back down to where we started so  

i've given you a tour of this incredible penthouse  we're now going to sit down with the listing agent

what in your opinion is that wow factor i  mean we know what it is but tell us a bit  

about why you love this place i definitely think  there's several wow factors number one the views  

you're gaining 360 views of los angeles from the  mountains to the ocean the size we're just over  

20 000 square feet interior and just over 5 000  exterior so the amount of indoor and outdoor space  

is insane who in your opinion is looking to rent  this place out being so close to staples center  

it could be athletes the lakers clippers hockey  players we're not too far from dodger stadium  

it's about a 15 minute drive from here  that with the entertainment industry and  

business owners and ceos in downtown la i think  those could be some of their clientele aaron was  

actually a med student and you switched over to  real estate could you tell the viewers just about  

that that decision how you got to where you're  at now i would say just do what you love i think  

follow your passion make sure you work hard  and it's so important just to do what you want  

at an early stage and be able  to succeed in that really helps
