for me i've got some answering to do

let's talk about the elf in the room the

question that you've all been asking me

every single day and that is am i still

working for james on the strad man

channel did i get fired was there some

drama did i resign what what happened uh

to answer your question no i no longer
[40]
work for james on the strad man channel

now are we still friends of course we're
[43]
still friends was there drama no of
[45]
course there was no drama so i've been
[47]
actually helping james for almost three
[48]
years filming videos now two years
[50]
before you guys ever saw me as the
[51]
cameraman i've been helping him with
[52]
logistics filming random stuff and
[55]
moving cars and just kind of trying to
[56]
be involved as much as i could as a
[58]
friend and so in october james asked me
[60]
to work for him full time where i kind
[61]
of did the same thing where i just
[62]
helped him with everything we also added
[65]
editing and a few other things onto that
[66]
so it's one of those things that i
[68]
thoroughly enjoyed working with james
[70]
because it was basically just like
[71]
hanging out with your buddy uh now to
[73]
get paid to do that to drive super cars
[74]
a bunch of fun it is super cool and so
[77]
you guys might be asking me why would i
[78]
make the decision to no longer work with
[80]
james when there's so many cool aspects
[81]
and so many cool perks to it
[83]
the answer is i have stuff in my life in
[86]
my personal life that takes precedence
[88]
over being able to spend so much time
[89]
with james i realized that all the
[91]
editing and all the time spent and all
[92]
the sleepless nights trying to get
[93]
projects done uh because it was so fun
[95]
to do it i realized i was sacrificing
[97]
other areas of my life that i realize
[99]
are more important so james thank you so

much for everything you've done i've had
[102]
the funnest year of my life we've had so
[103]
many cool people we've gone on so many
[104]
cool adventures but it's one of those
[106]
things that i i now have to focus on on
[108]
myself because over the last few months
[111]
uh you guys might even know this i've
[112]
been married for six years i have a
[113]
five-year-old kid named hudson he's the
[115]
best thing that ever happened to me but
[116]
my wife and i decided to call it quits
[118]
and so it's been
[119]
a few months since we've actually been
[120]
divorced and it's just one of those
[122]
things that's uh i haven't talked about
[124]
it with a lot of people it's awkward
[125]
people think it's a failure people look
[127]
at divorce as uh
[129]
as a negative it's a bad thing that you
[130]
guys did something wrong and something
[131]
happened
[132]
for us that's just not the case for us
[134]
the way our relationship started i'm
[136]
proud that we got six years it's one of
[138]
those things that i look at as a fresh
[139]
start and so does she we're able to move
[141]
on and kind of experience life kind of
[143]
with with a
[144]
new lens and so for me i'm excited for
[147]
the future i don't know what that means
[148]
i just know that i want to be a good dad
[150]
i want to be the best dad i can be i
[151]
want to be the best father i can be the
[153]
best person i can be and so i realized
[154]
that i need to kind of step back and put
[157]
more effort into my own life and into my
[159]
own projects i get so much fulfillment
[161]
out of these videos now i know i don't
[163]
plan on my youtube channel ever being
[164]
big enough to wear pays for stuff but i
[166]
think it's super fun that i can come out
[168]
and make videos and if you guys want to
[169]
keep watching them i appreciate it at

the same time i don't want to promise

you anything but i do want to tell you

that i'm going to give it a good shot

now that i've got some free time on my

hands and so i do have some videos

coming up i've got some stuff coming up
