[19]

[26]

[28]

[29]

[30]
personal finance investing stimulus
[32]
check updates stimulus package
[34]
updates cryptocurrencies so if you have
[36]
not already
[37]
definitely subscribe to the channel hit
[39]
that notification bell that way you're
[41]
the first to know as soon as i release
[42]
new videos and updates and let's go
[44]
ahead and dive into this
[46]
several different stimulus programs have
[48]
passed either through executive order or
[50]
earlier stimulus packages and are
[52]
scheduled to expire if they're not
[53]
extended
[54]
either through an executive order from
[56]
president biden or through the next
[57]
stimulus package
[58]
now on the top of this list is mortgage
[60]
forbearance mortgage forbearance is
[62]
essentially no payments and no
[64]
interest or penalties the government
[65]
actually owns nearly all of the
[67]
mortgages on the market
[68]
on the back end due to fannie mae and
[70]
freddie mac programs the government
[72]
designed it so that you would not be
[73]
required to pay your mortgage for a year
[75]
or even more
[76]
and many of those programs are coming to
[78]
an end forcing homeowners to begin
[81]
repaying their mortgages
[82]
following that if not extended eviction
[84]
protections will also expire
[86]
at the end of june specific locations
[88]
such as renters in kenmore washington
[90]
and throughout new york state have
[92]
independently extended eviction
[94]
protections for a more extended time
[96]
tenants are protected through august but
[98]
the bulk of americans who are behind on
[100]
their rent
[101]
which is more than 10 million americans
[103]
they're going to be losing eviction
[104]
protections at the end of this month
[106]
unless they are extended now following
[108]
that student loan payments will also
[110]
resume
[110]
this is because the majority of student
[112]
loan borrowers had their interest and
[114]
their payments
[115]
stopped for approximately a year and a
[116]
half and this is going to end as well
[118]
somewhere around october will be the
[120]
time when student loan payments resume
[122]
your exact due date will vary based on
[124]
when you begin repaying your student
[125]
loans during the month
[126]
however president biden and the
[128]
department of education
[130]
recently approved an additional 500
[132]
million dollars in student loan
[133]
forgiveness
[134]
for approximately 18 000 borrowers this
[137]
is the fourth round of what could be
[139]
seen as a mini student loan forgiveness
[141]
now this is not the massive round of
[142]
student loan forgiveness that president
[144]
biden has indicated
[145]
that he's willing to pursue but this
[147]
certainly is a help president biden has
[149]
stated numerous times that he is willing
[150]
to forgive
[152]
at least ten thousand dollars in student
[154]
loan debt however
[155]
other democrats like senate majority
[156]
leader chuck schumer they want them to
[158]
forgive fifty thousand dollars in
[160]
student loan debt
[161]
since the cost of a full year of
[162]
education is greater than ten thousand
[164]
dollars
[165]
which is exactly why they're lobbying
[167]
for more than fifty thousand dollars in
[169]
student loan forgiveness
[170]
now i expect this time that president
[172]
biden will do it after he has passed
[174]
these two packages the next stimulus
[176]
package and the next
[177]
infrastructure package then he'll issue
[179]
his presidential executive order
[181]
for student loan forgiveness it seems
[182]
that if president biden forgives
[184]
billions of dollars in student loan debt
[186]
before they pass the bill
[187]
senator joe manchin and many moderates
[190]
will express their hesitation
[191]
in spending more money for stimulus and
[193]
the infrastructure package the
[194]
government will essentially cancel
[196]
students outstanding debts
[197]
thus spending government funds will be
[199]
unnecessary in this case
[201]
as a result they are not actually
[202]
printing additional money and i believe
[204]
that we will see
[205]
similar sorts of debt forgiveness or at
[207]
the very least a very strong push for
[209]
them following the student loan debt
[210]
cancellation or forgiveness
[212]
other types of debt forgiveness such as
[213]
credit card debt forgiveness medical
[215]
debt forgiveness and
[217]
other forms of debt forgiveness may be
[219]
possible in the future as a part of a
[221]
future stimulus package
[222]
in fact according to a recent poll about
[224]
one in six americans have student loan
[226]
debt
[227]
however 52 percent of americans said
[229]
that they are in favor of a blanket
[231]
student loan forgiveness program for all
[233]
borrowers this is according to a new
[235]
poll
[235]
12 percent of respondents in the poll
[237]
said that they believe
[238]
student loan forgiveness should be
[240]
granted for those with low
[242]
income and high debt eleven percent said
[244]
those in public service should be
[245]
forgiven of their loans
[247]
and four percent saying that they
[249]
support temporary loan forgiveness
[251]
through the covet 19 pandemic
[252]
approximately 20 of those responding
[255]
don't think that the federal government
[256]
should undertake student loan
[258]
forgiveness
[258]
student loan forgiveness is sure to
[260]
create significant support for this
[262]
even if you do not have student loan
[263]
debt you might support student loan debt
[265]
forgiveness because you will see a
[266]
big push for individuals who did not
[269]
receive it in order to receive
[271]
other forms of debt forgiveness in
[273]
october they will receive a new round of
[275]
reconciliation cards
[276]
allowing the democrats to approve a new
[278]
set of stimulus packages
[280]
very likely two or three more through
[282]
the reconciliation procedure democrats
[284]
have about a year to complete everything
[285]
boost to social security medicare
[287]
fourth and maybe even fifth stimulus
[289]
checks perhaps
[290]
monthly stimulus checks child tax
[293]
credits
[294]
monthly stimulus checks two years of
[296]
free college and even student loan debt
[297]
forgiveness
[298]
they're going to place as many items as
[300]
possible in the next stimulus package
[302]
and then
[302]
maybe even another stimulus package
[304]
after that since the fact is that you
[306]
know the economic recession will take
[308]
years to recover
[309]
and in 2008 and 2009 it took four to
[311]
five years to exit so
[313]
you know if these stimulus packages
[314]
reduce the time uh to exit this
[317]
recession by 50
[318]
it's still going to take years the
[320]
democrats have a little over a year left
[321]
until the next
[322]
midterm election which is in 2022 they
[325]
have to do
[325]
everything before then because if they
[327]
lose even a single seat in the senate or
[329]
a few seats in the house they will
[331]
ultimately lose control of either one of
[333]
them they must pass everything now to
[335]
prevent having their agenda dependent on
[337]
the upcoming election results
[339]
just a few days ago we were starting to
[340]
see this just not from the government
[342]
we have a charity called rip medical
[344]
debt which will do
[345]
278 million dollars of medical debt
[348]
forgiveness
[349]
and that's a quarter of a billion
[350]
dollars for 82 000 low-income patients
[353]
we are already starting to see this now
[355]
and with the government's push for
[356]
student loan debt forgiveness
[357]
this is the type of thing that we could
[359]
see on a much greater scale from the
[361]
government once student loan debt
[362]
forgiveness is passed
[363]
prominent paul sent out a tweet she said
[365]
if we can do 500 million dollars then we
[367]
can do much
[368]
much more it's time for potus or
[371]
president of the united states
[373]
to expand on this good start by
[375]
canceling up to 50 thousand dollars for
[377]
every borrower now democratic
[379]
representative prominent jayapal the
[381]
leader of the democratic progressive
[382]
caucus which is about
[383]
half of all the democrats in the house
[385]
says that we should actually move
[387]
forward with this by the way if you
[388]
think that you might be eligible for the
[390]
current student loan debt forgiveness
[392]
which is mostly for people who have been
[393]
defrauded by their schools
[394]
or their schools closed on them or they
[396]
have disabilities go to studentaid.gov
[399]
forward slash
[400]
manage loans forgiveness cancellation to
[403]
learn more
[403]
as a result democratic representative
[405]
promise
[406]
is a name to keep an eye on when it
[408]
comes to stimulus she's likely the most
[410]
outspoken member of the us house of
[412]
representatives at the moment
[414]
advocating for various forms of stimulus
[416]
and student loan debt forgiveness
[418]
she's also part of the plan to provide a
[420]
two thousand 000 payment to
[422]
every person in america as critical
[424]
relief
[425]
during the covet 19 crisis followed by 1
[428]
000
[428]
recurring monthly payments throughout
[430]
the ongoing pandemic that continue for
[433]
one year after the end of the crisis
[435]
to help the country and families recover
[437]
this is why many people are advocating
[439]
for this continuation of stimulus
[441]
including president biden
[442]
who recently stated the same thing at
[445]
the recent
[445]
g7 world meeting the agreement reached
[448]
with the other g7 leaders
[450]
says that they will all maintain
[451]
economic stimulus measures
[453]
until at least the end of the year to
[455]
keep the world economy improving
[457]
additionally it works to their benefit
[458]
by ensuring that
[460]
none of these countries currencies
[461]
devalue whenever president biden is
[463]
asked about a fourth stimulus check
[465]
he is open and has grown increasingly
[467]
optimistic
[468]
that additional stimulus checks would be
[470]
included in the next stimulus package
[472]
lastly we have some alarming news guys
[474]
the world health organization
[476]
says that the delta variant of covet 19
[479]
spreads
[479]
much much more quickly and is more
[481]
deadly it's also becoming the dominant
[483]
covet variant globally covet 19 variant
[486]
delta
[486]
first identified in india is becoming
[489]
the dominant variant of the disease
[491]
worldwide
[492]
the world health organization's chief
[494]
scientist just
[495]
reported this on friday and that's
[496]
because of its significantly increased
[499]
transmissibility studies suggest delta
[502]
is around 60
[503]
more transmissible than alpha the
[505]
variant
[506]
first identified in the uk president
[508]
biden has just issued a warning about
[510]
the potentially deadlier
[512]
delta variant and has urged the people
[514]
to continue receiving vaccines
[515]
in our country 45.4 percent of the
[518]
population is fully vaccinated
[520]
this translates to 149 million people
[522]
receiving 317
[524]
million doses this equates to nearly 54
[527]
of people who have received one dosage
[529]
and 45 of those who are completely
[531]
vaccinated so anyway guys that's all for
[533]
the news on your fourth stimulus check
[535]
update
[535]
recurring stimulus check update mortgage
[537]
forbearance evictions protections
[540]
student loan forgiveness and the new
[541]
covet 19 variant which is becoming way
[544]
more dominant unfortunately and that
[545]
certainly was a lot that we covered in
[547]
today's update
[548]
but what do you guys think let me know
[549]
down in the comments down below i hope
