Hey guys, welcome back to the channel. Today we will be talking about Telcoin. We’ll

be going through Telcoins history, its use cases, its current market performance and

what the future has in store for the cryptocurrency.

So what is Telcoin? Telcoin was co-founded by, Paul Neuner and

Claude Eguienta in 2017. Telcoin is a DeFi application built on the Ethereum blockchain.

Telcoin is the first cryptocurrency which synergises the reach of mobile telecommunication

and the borderless nature of blockchain technology.

According to the World Bank, there are nearly five times as many mobile phones in the world

(5 billion), as there are active bank accounts (1.2 billion).

It is easier to access a mobile phone service than it is to access a bank, due to this disparity,

Telcoin has target the remittance market, where Western Union is the current market

leader.

The remittance market is fairly rigid, whereby it typically takes 1 to 2 business days to

connect a bank account online and further days for the recipient to acquire the money

at a physical outlet and complete relevant documents.

This is coupled with recipients, typically being left with an average of around 8% less

than what was originally sent.

In contrast, Telcoin aims to provide the provision of funds to a recipient instantaneously and

deliver remittance at an average, of less than 2% of the original sum sent.

Telcoin works with mobile operators such as Verizon and AT&T and e-wallets globally, this

allows them to reach a broad base of users including the unbanked with a contactless

service with low fees.

Telcoin coin holders are given the opportunity to stake their coins through Ethereum. By

owning and staking Telcoin, users gain the ability to vote on network rules, such as

reward distributions and transaction fees, among other possible changes.

Telcoin can be acquired on on Kucoin, Uniswap, Balancer and QuickSwap.

So what's the current outlook on Telcoin? Telcoin is the 63rd ranked cryptocurrency

with a market cap of just over $2.4 billion dollars and currently has a circulating supply

of over 54 billion with a maximum supply of 100 billion coins.

Prior to 2021, Telcoins price remained fairly stable.Telcoins price 2 X during the February

2021 altcoin season and experienced a tremendous 10 x in price in May, where Telcoin reached

an all time high of just over 0.06 dollars. Telcoin is currently priced at just over 0.04

dollars.

So could Telcoin reach 0.1 dollar this year? To reach 0.1 dollars, Telcoin would have to

increase by just over 2 x. This would give Telcoin a market cap of approximately 5.6

billion dollars. Is a 5.6 billion dollar market cap reasonable? Well, looking at the cryptomarket,

theres already 34 coins which have surpassed this figure and with the anticipated altcoin

season occurring over the summer, a 0.1 dollar Telcoin is not outside the realms of possibility.

A 100 x increase however, may be out of reach of Telcoin especially over the short term,

however, with increased adoption and more partnerships, a 100 x increase over the long

term could happen.

WIth Telecoins strong fundamental features and its objective strengths against the current

market leader in the remittance industry, Western Union, Telcoin could be a real player

in not only the cryptocurrency market but also the remittance market over the long term.
