[1]
welcome back to Hannity everyone I'm
[3]
Tammy Bruce now the new extreme
[5]
Democratic Party continues to drift
[7]
further and further left embracing open
[10]
borders higher taxes and of course far
[13]
left socialism none of that does any
[15]
good for Humanity as we've seen
[16]
historically and get this even
[18]
Democratic insiders are now admitting
[20]
that Bernie Sanders has a path to the
[23]
nomination from Politico quote suddenly
[25]
Bernie Sanders presidential campaign is
[27]
being taken seriously Democratic
[29]
officials political operatives and
[31]
pundits are reconsidering Sanders
[34]
chances and if that isn't disturbing
[36]
enough congresswoman Ocasio cortes said
[38]
she'd be quite honored to be his vice
[41]
president while admitting she's too
[43]
young to even hold the office so tonight
[45]
couldn't be more clear the new extreme
[48]
Democrats are running the party driving
[51]
the narrative and putting so-called
[52]
moderates like Joe Biden if you want to
[55]
call him a moderate I guess in this
[57]
world he appears to be put putting him
[59]
on the defensive because while Biden
[62]
clings to his frontrunner status the
[64]
campaign continues to be plagued by
[65]
awkward gaffes a weak record and his son
[68]
hunter shady dealings overseas but of
[71]
course the media continues playing
[72]
defense for him
[73]
let's take a look listen I don't think
[76]
Trump is playing chess or checkers I
[78]
think he's playing Hungry Hungry Hippos
[79]
I get why the president wants a circus
[82]
right a circus is a circus it's good
[83]
friend everyone gets confused we end up
[86]
talking about hurt under Biden that's
[87]
not good for the Democrats and once we
[89]
start going off to hunter Biden what's
[91]
next the CrowdStrike guy diamond and
[93]
silk you know like it's going to be just
[95]
as crazy mm-hmm yeah so that's in the
[98]
future tense crazy
[99]
so remember Joe Biden is literally on
[101]
tape admitting to a quid pro quo with
[105]
Ukraine leveraging US taxpayer aid to
[108]
get the prosecutor fired that was
[109]
investigating Burr yzma holdings and his
[111]
zero experience Sun hunter and not only
[115]
that but a private investigation from a
[117]
private investigation firm is alleging
[120]
in a new court filing that hunter Biden
[123]
is actually the subject of multiple
[125]
criminal investigations but the media
[128]
would rather just ignore it and ignore
[131]
just how disconnected and how
[133]
dangerous and just how destructive this
[135]
new democratic party has become joining
[137]
me now for a reaction is Trump 2020
[139]
campaign secretary Kaley McKinney along
[141]
with the Washington Times columnist and
[143]
Fox News contributor Charlie hurt and
[145]
Washington Examiner senior campaign
[147]
reporter Carrie picot Carrie let me
[150]
start with you because this entire
[152]
environment here when you're looking at
[155]
the media covering for the Democrats
[157]
that the nature of what it is they're
[159]
covering for accusing Donald Trump of
[161]
wanting the circus he is not in charge
[163]
of the Democratic Party he didn't choose
[165]
these candidates that you know what
[167]
they're dealing with them the mess of
[169]
what Barack Obama left them in the wake
[172]
of Obama care and his eight years so
[175]
Donald Trump is sitting back trying to
[178]
run the country at the same time are
[180]
they looking at obviously I think any of
[183]
these individuals can become the nominee
[185]
but it is going to require the
[187]
Democratic machine effectively to then
[190]
anoint one clearly they're still nervous
[192]
about Biden are they serious about
[195]
Bernie Sanders do you think well right
[197]
now what we're seeing is Bernie Sanders
[199]
go back into the spotlight because
[202]
remember Tammy there was a period of
[204]
time when Bernie Sanders was number one
[207]
right and the Democratic establishment
[210]
all of a sudden was kind of freaking out
[212]
a bit so they're kind of saying yo Joe
[214]
you better jump in at some point and
[216]
kind of save us but then Joe Biden
[219]
almost sudden he's having his gaffes
[221]
having being tangled Mint's with his son
[223]
and now you know we begin to see
[227]
Elizabeth Warren have her pop you know
[230]
Buddha judge have his pop and then all
[232]
of a sudden they're going back down
[233]
again now we're seeing Bernie Sanders
[235]
pop up again and they're beginning to
[238]
wonder it's gonna bounce around Charlie
[241]
it almost comes around to who the media
[243]
is paying attention to right Bernie
[245]
Sanders after his heart attack it was
[247]
kind of kid gloves there he's not really
[249]
taken to task by the media at all
[252]
Elizabeth Warren was because of the
[254]
absurd Medicare for all fifty two
[256]
trillion dollar circus so she took some
[259]
hits so is she but the moment that any
[261]
attention is paid to them they sink
[264]
Charlie do you think
[266]
that this is going to be one of those
[267]
cases where either there they're hoping
[270]
he will but now with Elizabeth Warren
[272]
going away and going down and somebody
[274]
who does not mention charlie is
[275]
Bloomberg where do you see all of this
[277]
coming out in the next month or two as
[280]
we head into the caucuses well I gotta
[284]
tell you Tammy you know all along I have
[287]
have believed that somebody like Joe
[289]
Biden although he is completely marched
[292]
away from his quote/unquote centrist
[295]
appearing legacy of Obama sort of
[298]
platforms that that you know I do think
[301]
that he most likely represents the the
[304]
broad cross-section of the Democratic
[306]
Party but of course as you point out
[308]
he's been running a disastrous campaign
[310]
it would not surprise me one bit to see
[313]
out of all of this wreckage to see a
[315]
Bernie Sanders wind up with the
[317]
nomination after all he won the
[319]
nomination in 2016 it just so happens
[322]
that the DNC and the Hillary Clinton
[323]
campaign got together and conspired to
[326]
take it away from him but it wouldn't
[327]
surprise me but I also think that if
[330]
Bernie Sanders winds up as the nominee
[332]
for the party I think he clearly loses
[335]
not only because he's just commit all
[338]
he's crazy and all of his his policies
[341]
are totally unpalatable to general
[343]
election voters I think they're even
[344]
unpalatable probably to the a broad
[348]
cross-section of Democratic you know
[349]
when I was on the left when they
[351]
arguments what was is that even bringing
[353]
up the subject moves and it being
[355]
accepted as a legitimate thing to
[356]
discuss moves it forward that it's like
[359]
you have five steps forward three steps
[361]
back so we can't dismiss that this is an
[364]
effort perhaps to change the mentality
[365]
of Americans on the scene we've seen
[368]
though what they didn't anticipate was
[369]
Donald Trump reminding them of the
[371]
greatness of the American ideal and the
[374]
importance of the Republic and and
[376]
certainly capitalism Kaleigh at the same
[378]
time you've got the other thing and I
[381]
you know I've always a little bit seen
[383]
the hunter Biden dynamic is a bit of a
[384]
district of a distraction but it really
[387]
in a way sits at the core of what the
[389]
problem is with the with the swamp in
[390]
that it's this nepotism money and you
[393]
wonder it's like how do you become a
[395]
multi-millionaire
[396]
in public
[398]
and now this is the scene that seems to
[401]
explain that to us really stripped bare
[404]
do you think that this is obviously
[406]
hunter Biden's problem seemed to
[407]
increase by the day is this something
[410]
that will affect Joe Biden if in fact he
[412]
continues to stay at the top of the heap
[415]
it certainly will because look Tammy
[417]
when I travel the nation go to all the
[419]
president's rallies one thing I hear
[420]
repeatedly is about the Washington swamp
[423]
and this notion that politicians go in
[425]
there enriched are they profit off of
[428]
their time in public service and there's
[429]
no better example of that than hunter
[431]
Biden who had no experience in oil and
[434]
gas but gets this lucrative contract in
[436]
Ukraine gets this lucrative deal over in
[438]
China both coincidentally after his
[440]
father either leads the foreign
[442]
relations with the country or visits
[444]
there in the case of China this sits at
[446]
the center and when Hillary Clinton had
[448]
her email problem and the bleach fitting
[450]
and all of this came out CNN MSNBC they
[453]
did their best to cover it to hide it I
[455]
was a contributor at the time I saw it
[457]
happen their attempt to hide these
[459]
scandals from the American people but I
[461]
can tell you this the American people
[462]
are smart they see through it and they
[464]
will see this scandal for what it is
[466]
just like they did with the Hillary you
[468]
know Kerry I think one of the things
[469]
that's different in all of that we're
[471]
discussing here is social media and is
[474]
cable television is the fact that in
[477]
real time now you can receive the news
[478]
on a smartphone that you can get
[480]
information as its as it's occurring
[483]
that may be the hunter Biden thing if
[485]
you if you only had three networks to
[486]
rely on that we're covering up you
[489]
wouldn't have all the information be
[490]
able to make those determinations and
[492]
then you've got Alexandria Ocasio Cortez
[495]
who seems to be a representation of the
[499]
problems there when it comes to voting
[501]
and to literacy economically and
[504]
historical literacy of who we are and
[507]
she's attached herself to Bernie to
[509]
Bernie Sanders clearly it's not the
[511]
kennedy shriver democratic party anymore
[513]
but do see that social media is part of
[516]
what is making this change and how the
[518]
american people are responding and what
[520]
they're willing to put up with because
[522]
we're learning more every day
[523]
well certainly I mean social media has a
[525]
lot to do with this Tammy but remember
[527]
Alexandria Ocasio Cortez also provides a
[530]
lot of energy to this this a primary for
[534]
the Democrats that the Democrats and
[536]
cells in this primary really can't
[538]
provide but remember she is not old
[539]
enough and unfortunately they're gonna
[542]
have to wait maybe until 2020 well or if
[544]
they if they imagine that this is the
[546]
future they've got some bigger problems
[548]
than we even could imagine because
[550]
Americans are have rejected that in 16
[552]
they're rejecting it now and with
[554]
everything else we've seen I think
[556]
they're going to reject it in 2020 so
[558]
it's it's a heartbreak it's an important
[560]
legacy of the American Republic but
[563]
somebody there is going to have to get
[564]
their act together Kailey Carey Charlie
[566]
thank you very much for joining me
[567]
tonight I appreciate it
