How to request a Certificate of Insurance - YouTube

hello so today I'm going to show you how to issue your own certificate of

insurance from the client portable the first thing we need to do is open our

internet browser and log in to DiMatteo insurance.com and you're going to find

over here on the home page ...over here a hyperlink on the menu bar that

says client portal login once you click on it, it's going to take you to the

login page for the sake of this illustration I'm going to take you right

into our game audio demo account so that way I can show you exactly how to issue

a certificate of insurance now once you have logged in to the client portal it will

take us to the dashboard and you will notice that there are four blue boxes

for services that you may need such as issuing a certificate view policy

summary your auto ID cards document access it's all right here in the

dashboard what we want to do is select issue a certificate the first page that

pops up will be your templates now people request certificates of uncertain

insurance in all different ways for this illustration you have one template and

this is for the term 2020 and 2021 what you want to do is select the template by

just clicking on the hyperlink and it's going to bring you over to our holder

screen now these are all the holders that you have ever used in the past for

your certificates of insurance every time you add a holder it gets logged in

and saved into our system so that way it's very easy for you to reissue

another certificate of insurance for this example let's use Bank Brothers

Services Inc we're just going to click on the link and it's going to take us

right into edit holder details we want to confirm and verify that the address

is correct that they're gonna be receiving or not receiving renewals and

then we're gonna scroll down and this is where you would actually like list if

you have like additional insured any special endorsements anything specific

to the needs that you have now. Down below

you're going to see recipient information, now on this recipient

information you will see that in the past

there was no one listed as an "attention to" so we're gonna put a name in here and

we're gonna send this over to Belle. We want this to go to her attention

so the subject of the email is going to read proof of insurance for the

commercial demo account and here is your test certificate because this is a test

run however there is no email here so what we want to do is we're going to

email the renewal certificate email this certificate and we're gonna list her

email account and her email account is Z Torres@dimatteo insurance.com and that's

pretty much it! After we verify all the information on

here all we want to do is hit submit and Ztorres at DiMatteo will receive the

email it's that easy but what if you need to add a new holder so let's walk

you through that let's issue another certificate right

here and what we want to do is we want to go back into our template for our

2020 2021 and but I don't see here this blue box says add a holder it's that

easy so what we want to do is we want a name with a business right over here and

let's we use the bank's brothers before let's use ABC let's use ABC escalating

I'll see and we're gonna put their address as 113 rich bored Avondale over

here to their City Shelton Connecticut zero six four eight four

nevermind we'll use Greenwich Connecticut and then from here we're

going to go scroll down we're going to make sure that everything is correct if

there was some loan specific information this is actually where you would want to

place it and then we're going to go right down into recipient information

and once again it's about there you go here is the certificate you needed to

abc excavating and want to make sure that she gets our

email and the email is correct and we're gonna hit submit and as you can see that

was pretty easy now from this screen if you wanted to open their certificate all

you would do is click open their certificate it's going to actually save

as PDF in your downloads folder and this is what it would look like as you can

see all of the information is here and we're gonna go right back into the video
