Your crust should contain 2 layers of rice. The one at the bottom is scorched rice, the other one is hot rice.

I've read lots of cooking tips recently, and it does help.

It's kinda hard to make a pizza like that, but I'm sure it will taste fantasmagorical!

Cheese and hot sauce, it's a wowbo combo. Anything but that it's a big no.

I'm a huge fan of fish sauce...

But the idea of cheese and fish sauce going together is kinda...

If the crust was made from scorched rice, that would be a 10 out of 10, for sure.

I would give this dish a 10 out of 10 if that was real.

It does feel strange when you have your very first bites.

Do you guys know why fish sauce and the crust cannot be a great combo?

As you guys bake the crust, it'll carry a strong scent.

I think that very strong scent doesn't go well with...

It doesn't go well with our cơm tấm.

Like... No one's ever made a bánh mì cơm tấm, right?

Bánh mì with some meat, yes. But bánh mì cơm tấm...

You know, no one puts fish sauce in their bánh mì, no one ever!

Right?

They can put hot sauce, or soy sauce, but not fish sauce in their bánh mì!

You know, the most fundamental part of cơm tấm is the fish sauce.

Cơm tấm will no longer be cơm tấm without the fish sauce.

Do you guys know why people give cơm tấm such a name?

It's because the rice of that dish is broken rice (cơm tấm). So the dish is called cơm tấm.

The dish makes its own name because of the rice, not the meat!

This dish is quite creative though.

I think it's more creative than the pizza bún đậu mắm tôm.
