actually getting ready to move so you
may notice that my hair isn't all styled

like it often is and my clothes are
they're okay but they're not like super

ultra nice or anything and maybe it
echoes a little bit more in here than

normal normal but that's mostly because
again I am moving this week and you know

that we're in the process of boxing
things up if I could turn this camera

around you'd see that this place looks
like an earthquake came through here or

something but nonetheless we're still
making videos so anyway this week we are

going to be talking about what it means
when your ex says that the two of you
[49]
might be able to get back together down
the road in the future okay and this can
[56]
be kind of a bit of a mixed message for
a lot of people because you know what
[61]
does it mean why is your ex saying hey
maybe we'll get back together someday
[65]
but definitely not today like down the
road maybe like what does that even mean
[72]
and what it means is basically this it
means that your ex likes you they do
[78]
they like you they're attracted to you
they think you're great in some respects

but but there's still something in the
way blocking them from wanting to be

like that's it let's get back together
there's something in the way and what is
[95]
that thing in most cases it is an
emotional block of some sort right and
[100]
we generally call this reactance in our
little newsletter over at relationship

on the podcast and in the books and in

the online courses and all that stuff we
call this reactance okay generally

they're a little bit hesitant about the
idea of getting back together with you
[118]
because there are some unresolved
emotions some negative feelings some

residual bad feelings still there from
the break-up from what happens during

the breakup and what happened before the
breakup and we're having after the
[131]
breakup from all
those things okay and you'd still need
[136]
to clear those out but your ex is able
to see a future with you it's just that
[144]
right now they're not really willing to
step into it because of those emotional
[149]
things okay and so what you want to do
at this stage is to basically clear out
[155]
those emotions right so you want to do
is you want to focus on the emotional
[160]
connection you want to focus on bonding
with them composure inspiring devotion
[165]
all of these things that we talked about
in or what we call advanced relational
[169]
skills so that you can connect with them
bond with them all of that stuff right
[173]
and basically clear out that emotional
block that's stopping your ex from
[178]
really being excited about stepping into
that future together with you okay

so I hope this is explained a little bit
about what this whole you know maybe we

can get back together in the future
things someday really means and I hope

it kind of gives you a little bit more
of a better understanding about what you

can do and what you should be focusing
on moving forward now obviously I can't
