PLTR Stock: SHORT INTEREST RISING!!! - YouTube

feelings here guys and this is a quick update on  pallet here we're going to look at some hedge fund  

ownership uh or talent here we're going to look at  the recent institutional buy-ins into poland here  

and also an update on the short interest levels  they are still rising and then we're going to do  

a quick technical analysis to see where the stock  is heading these next couple of days and whether  

the support lines will hold as always guys this  is not financial advice it's just entertainment  

only and now let's get straight to it guys i'll  make myself a bit smaller there's an interesting  

article out here on um my yahoo finance build  actually comes from um insider monkey and they  

track here a couple of the hedge funds who are in  palantiya and i think that's quite interesting to  

to to go through and now who is the major hedge  fund invested in talent here it's 72 investment  

holdings and you might not know who that is but  they have 680 million in this stock and now you  

might have seen this chap steve cohen he runs 0.72  and uh he's worth i think 10 billion us dollars  

plus he obviously owns the new york mets as it  says here and one of the world's most fantastic  

art collections and look at this this is the  office doesn't look just like seed out of billions  

uh they're even wearing the midtown uniform here  with the t-shirt so uh he is the largest hedge  

fund in the uh 72 investment holdings with 687  million um it does mention soros here but i do  

think they are probably out um there is blue ridge  capital in here and blue ridge capital is actually  

only holding i read some time back in a couple  of months back they were going to close down  

the fund but it looks like they happened  and the one thing that they are invested in  

solely is blue ridge capital basically 250 million  us dollars in just one stock so you could say  

that's fairly strong conviction there from that  from there are also a couple of others in here um  

robert mp luciano vgi's partners bruce clarks on  campus arrow street ken griffin citadel etc so  

let's have a quick look at some of the more  recent bites now with these filing dates  

uh remember always that these can be 90 days out  of date the way the u.s filing system works for  

funds to buy stocks is rather unfair to the retail  investors of you and me we just don't see it  

quickly we basically get to know about it about  a quarter too late and if you followed the um

the last couple of days none of those ownerships  of perhaps five percent or more of those companies  

was disclosed at all to anybody because they used  derivatives to get a round skirt around the rules  

so that's another story here i think sec is going  to look at that but we can see a couple of recent  

filings we see schwab total buying 130 000 stocks  permanent portfolio here 200 000 aggressive growth  

portfolio 20 000 and then before that it's a lot  of vanguard basically and that's mutual funds here  

on the institutional front we have jp morgan's  better builders that's a nice name isn't 170 000  

stocks we have schwab again here 131 000 stock uh  stocks uh and then cloud alpha capital management  

hong kong which is where i am um well  that's a put uh but it's 120 000 uh shares  

is that a um it's an option i don't know whether  that's a cover put or not uh we have to figure  

that out from the filing if i figure that out guys  i will of course let you know as always now the  

short interest and i've covered that before that  i was getting a little bit concerned with this  

um and this story was here let me just clear  the deck here that in october last year we saw  

this gradual increase of the uh the short interest  and then it sort of went up to the moon and that  

of course isn't great for the stock and at the  moment we're seeing again a gradual build up here  

and it continues it continues to be building  up which is a little unusual given that the  

stock price has been hit over the head so much  so the question therefore is the concern is is  

this going to go up like that are people going to  short this again aggressively or not well at the  

moment we're sitting at 19.7 percent here which  is high although by palantir standards it's almost  

normal um if you if you draw a line here through  the through the middle there you know we were  

at levels above that and below that in recent  months um but typically a stock has less than 10  

short interest 10 to 20 is is deemed as high and  anything above 20 is sort of slightly insane so  

we are approaching here the insane levels and  i will of course keep you guys updated and if

look at the actual stock here what's been going  on well the good news is that you see that 2174  

here that's the fibonacci retracement that's our  support line and i put that in here a few days ago  

this is not something i concocted check my earlier  palantir videos if you don't believe me and we  

closed basically on the dot uh on 2173 so um a a  fraction a cent below it but that doesn't really  

matter to be honest with you it's not really about  the scent and i i think really what that means  

is that our support line is still active it still  holds um because the next one below that is a 2018  

and so there is quite a big gap here which  we did test i think only was it the eighth  

yeah the fifth actually that very very long tail  here so at the moment that is somewhat a relief um  

we do have a lower low than the day before but not  as low as two days before and what i mean by that  

is that the little tails here of these candles  are uh you know different points that the bottom  

end of that candle basically shows you the lowest  point it hit during the days which is why candles  

are a little bit more interesting to look at  than simply lines now our momentum indicators  

well they're not hugely positive here the the  the sort of light at the end of the tunnel  

is that when we are down here below that  dashed line we are in the oversold territory  

typically when you go into that like we did  over here um you then come out of it again  

which is a a a rally back up but you can be  in that period for some time as we can see  

uh over here we were in it from 23rd of february  till the 4th of march for example a good 40 days  

and really actually that period started on the  11th of february so it's it's almost um you know  

most most of the sort of two to three week  period that we were in that period so we can  

hover along that period for some time eventually  one would expect a recovery somewhere down the  

line that goes back up um so that is a little  bit of you're finding a bottom here and i think  

if you look at the chart you can also see three  out of the last four days uh basically either  

had the low of the day at 21.74 or even ended  at that price point like yesterday so we are  

building some pretty solid support here at the  2174. now can we dip below during the day yes as  

long as there is buy-in that takes us back up  above it if we close substantially below it i  

mean more than one cent and then we are a little  bit in trouble and then we're heading for 20.18  

but so far for uh three out of the last four days  uh well actually what do we close on that day 2258  

for all over the last four days we we managed to  um close just above it or just on that line so  

the last four days here giving us pretty strong  support at 21.74 so that's that's the one number  

that i i watch out for we dip significantly  below that i'll be a little bit in trouble  

and i should disclose i am long on palantir the  last time i was 28 so i i feel the same pain  

that probably a lot of you are feeling um and  uh but i think yes i think we are bottoming out  

quite frankly uh unless there is is some new  horrendous news in the market with with with  

something but at the moment i think uh that is  really the line we got to watch out for guys  

uh there are some indicators that there  was that uh squeeze momentum indicator  

and that is still on and the way that works  is that when these black crosses go gray  

you get an explosive movement in one direction  or another and in the past that's worked really  

really well um but at the moment whereas  it's still on i watch it every day guys so  

i will let you know because that it has been  very accurate in predicting the last massive  

sell-off and also the last massive rally here  um let me just show you that here so basically  

this is where i'm putting the line in  here where that indicator went off and  

that of course up here was that massive massive  rally uh on on that was on the 21st of january  

and then on the negative side when it got turned  off it was the 24th of february here this one  

and that of course was one of the biggest  sell-off days we had after that so it has been  

a rather good indicator here that this squeeze  momentum uh indicator so i will let you know uh  

as soon as that turns one way or the other guys so  that's a quick update here on palantir um if you
