Two #Stocks currently with Strong Momentum | #stockmarket - YouTube
Channel: Vivek Bajaj
[10]
I鈥檓 a momentum investor, meaning in any stock if there is momentum then I participate.
[21]
And if the momentum starts getting weak then I exit from the stock. I鈥檓 not a value investor
[29]
That tries to find cheap stocks at a low level because I think Value Investing is a deep science.
[36]
And somewhere or other I feel in this that, as I have been a trader too, so I cannot put the effort into value investing.
[45]
That I put in momentum investing. What is the difference between them? I had recorded a video a few days back.
[52]
So you watch the video, you will understand about value, growth, momentum & cyclical investing.
[59]
In this video, I will tell you about 2 stocks that I too hold. So there is a caveat that whatever I discuss with you
[67]
Is for knowledge purpose. You can assume that in these I can have my position and accordingly track your position.
[75]
These 2 stocks, although cheap for few days but now momentum can be seen in it, then there are possibilities
[82]
That it can go towards long-term momentum then you can plan your investment in them. How to plan?
[92]
Now, you take it a little bit and when it falls, then take more. Like this, you can build up your position
[98]
Rather than investing completely at once. The first stock about which I will say is Coal India.
[105]
We all know that it was India鈥檚 highest sized IPO鈥檚 a few years back and it鈥檚 a PSU. A huge listed company in coal
[118]
And a big company too. Its dividend yield is approximately 8% meaning if we buy this share today even
[127]
Then we will get annually 8% because there is a special thing under PSUs that in these generally, we receive the dividend.
[134]
Because government too wants they earn dividend income from these companies on a regular basis.
[139]
Coal India was going in a flat range for a long time, approximately from 130 to 160. But in this, a breakout arrived.
[148]
When it crossed the level of 160. Why did it come? Because an energy crisis is going on in the world.
[155]
And coal prices are becoming 2x, 3x, 4x times. So ultimately when a global crisis comes, then its impact
[165]
Come鈥檚 on Indian companies too. A power crisis will regularly come in India too and as Coal India deals in Coal
[173]
Then chances are there it will fundamentally benefit it. Like always I do, play momentum with a theme
[182]
So, the theme in Coal India is Coal play, energy crisis and it鈥檚 a long-term play because stell is overall booming.
[190]
And why it鈥檚 booming? Because its core raw material - coal; an important raw material, is booming too.
[196]
So, I feel that in this fast-moving wheel, a weakness cannot be seen anywhere. Stock is in good momentum too.
[206]
And slowly position can be built. And the biggest advantage is that it has a stable dividend yield that
[212]
Will always give you stability in this stock. The second stock is Idea. Many of you might be a subscriber of it.
[222]
Many might be worried too and more or less many will be satisfied too. But Idea too was at a low level for a long time.
[229]
In fact, I had recorded a video too that what鈥檚 cheap is for once only. Rises again and gets expensive.
[238]
So, not to invest in cheap stocks. I always say this only that in which there is no momentum and is cheap.
[244]
Avoid investing in it. But if it becomes a little expensive and momentum comes in it and always remember
[251]
Momentum comes for a reason and the current reason we all know that this telecom sector of India,
[258]
A duopoly threat was made where there was Jio & Airtel. So, saving Vodafone became a mindset for the government.
[270]
Especially after when Kumar Mangalam Birla did an activity and told the government that you take the share from us only
[276]
And you run the company. But save this company. So the talk regarding spectrum, fees was going on
[282]
According to that, it seems that in this telecom sector. Jio & Airtel won鈥檛 work alone, probably Vodafone will continue too.
[289]
Possible that its future is defined but in stock, you see the RS Model that I follow, momentum has come in the stock
[300]
Since the time it has crossed 11. Now I feel that this stock is not weak. It has moved towards a strong stock.
[310]
A little bit of position can be built but always put stop loss. If momentum dies down in this stock
[316]
And it starts going below 11 again or 10 as a base. If it goes below that probably you would want to square up.
[325]
But as of now, as a momentum play, this stock has power till the time it doesn鈥檛 go above 13, 13.5 or 14
[334]
Till then short-term momentum is there. So you can see this too. In both, I have built little position
[342]
So there is a caveat not to work on these stocks blindly because as we are active in the market so we know
[349]
when less momentum is dying down and when to exit. So we plan our exit too properly. If you want to learn Exit plan,
[357]
Then in Learn2Trade I have made a video and how to exit is even told in it, so watch it and understand this process
[366]
Such that you don鈥檛 have to be dependent on any Vivek Bajaj that which stock to invest in and how to exit from a stock
