Gaetz files ethics charges against Pelosi for ripping SOTU speech - YouTube

[0]
our first guest tonight also got a shout
[3]
out today from the president he's often
[5]
taking the fight directly to the radical
[7]
Dems defending the president recently
[10]
filing an ethics complaint against House
[12]
Speaker Pelosi for her abhorrent
[14]
aberrant behavior at the State of the
[17]
Union
[17]
joining us tonight Congressman Matt
[19]
Gaetz remember the House Judiciary &
[21]
Armed Services committee's congressman
[24]
great to have you with us and I the
[26]
president I thought had a terrific idea
[29]
Kevin McCarthy Speaker of the House and
[32]
has a ring to it does it I'm certainly
[35]
looking forward to Republicans taking
[37]
over the house and that is all the more
[39]
likely with the president having a
[41]
triumphant week the State of the Union a
[43]
raging success acquitted in the Senate
[46]
and just moments ago Lou I got a notice
[49]
that the president has taken off of the
[51]
battlefield the leader of al Qaeda Yemen
[54]
and that is particularly meaningful to
[56]
me because al Qaeda Yemen had taken
[58]
responsibility for the murder of my
[61]
constituents in Pensacola Florida on our
[64]
naval base and the president's just
[66]
proving the Trump doctrine works we are
[68]
going to kill the terrorists and we're
[70]
gonna come home without being
[71]
excessively entangled in foreign war so
[74]
triumphant week and all the more likely
[76]
that Republicans will be in control of
[78]
the House and the Senate and the
[80]
presidency after this next election you
[83]
today filed ethics charges against
[85]
Pelosi what what is the likelihood that
[88]
her aberrant behavior as Speaker before
[93]
the entire assembly at the State of the
[96]
Union will be indeed significant enough
[100]
to to result in consequences it should
[104]
result in consequences Nancy Pelosi
[106]
disgraced the House of Representatives
[109]
she embarrassed our country all of the
[111]
world was watching as she had her
[112]
petulant childlike behavior of ripping
[115]
up an official record of the house
[117]
submitted as an original under the
[119]
signature or over the signature of the
[120]
president the United States
[121]
now the Ethics Committee is a bipartisan
[124]
committee so it requires both
[125]
Republicans and Democrats to institute
[128]
consequence and I don't suspect any
[130]
Democrats will turn against Pelosi but
[132]
this is
[133]
important for precedent value because
[134]
you'll remember when Joe Wilson
[136]
correctly said that Barack Obama was
[138]
lying about the fact that illegal aliens
[141]
in fact are eligible for Obamacare oh
[144]
the Democrats wanted to censure him and
[146]
rein all kind of consequence on him but
[149]
when it is their own speaker
[150]
embarrassing our institution and
[152]
embarrassing our country they don't want
[153]
to get off their Duff well off their
[156]
Duff's and here we are at the pivotal
[159]
moment I saw today the president taking
[163]
the offensive for the first time since
[166]
he has served as our president because
[169]
for the first time he is not engaged in
[172]
having to defend himself and this may be
[175]
but there's a short and oregano but for
[178]
right now this president seems to have
[180]
decided that this fight against evil
[182]
this fight against corruption and the
[184]
party of hate is a fight worth having
[187]
and now to fight it on his terms your
[190]
thoughts and it is a it is a fight that
[192]
cannot end Lou just because the
[194]
president has been acquitted does not
[196]
mean that there were not people engaging
[198]
in corrupt acts and as a part of the
[200]
left's political movement and so it is
[202]
my hope that chairman Lindsey Graham of
[204]
who I'm with down here in Palm Beach
[206]
this evening will continue his work in
[208]
the Senate Judiciary Committee to bring
[210]
forward the whistleblower to find out
[212]
the extent to which the deep state is
[214]
continuing efforts against the president
[216]
remember they're not going to stop they
[217]
didn't stop after Moeller
[219]
after that was a nightmare and I don't
[220]
think they're gonna stop now which is
[222]
why we have to continue that offensive
[224]
you just referenced you know it's
[225]
interesting Senator Graham who you
[227]
mentioned there is continuing the fight
[229]
this is the same chairman of the
[232]
judiciary who said he was going to
[233]
investigate the investigators who said
[235]
he was going to investigate the
[238]
corruption of the party of hate he
[241]
hasn't done a single thing since
[243]
assuming the chair so what I would if I
[246]
may suggest I would hope he would begin
[249]
that effort I to continue what he's done
[253]
would be to be just more of nothing we
[257]
need to see more action out of the
[258]
Senate Judiciary Committee they have
[260]
unique oversight abilities and
[262]
responsibilities and I think that it
[264]
would not serve our country well
[266]
to have these remaining questions about
[269]
wires elements of our own government
[271]
we're trying to deep platform and D
[273]
legitimize our president so I think that
[275]
we will not do our own voters and our
[278]
own president a good service by just
[280]
forgetting about this and moving on
[281]
we've really got to get to the bottom of
[283]
it and Senator Graham is the guy who can
[285]
do it and I think that we need to pick
[286]
up the pace in that regard the axiom
[289]
that you get what you accept if we are
[291]
to accept three more than three three
[294]
and a half years of absolute hate-filled
[299]
attempts to destroy this president he
[302]
they will continue pelosi schumer the
[305]
whole ragged bunch will continue Andy it
[309]
has to come to a stop for this as much
[311]
as anything not only justice but as the
[315]
president alluded there aren't III know
[319]
if not a single other person who could
[321]
have withstood the fury and the hate of
[323]
the radical Dems that he has well that's
[328]
why we love our president even though he
[330]
undertakes just a tremendous amount of
[332]
incoming it only intensifies our support
[335]
for him and by the way last week in Iowa
[337]
president Trump enjoyed record turnout
[340]
from Republicans in similarly situated
[342]
circumstances it shows that this
[344]
impeachment has backfired on Democrats
[347]
and it has Republicans and other
[348]
Democrats and independents who support
[350]
the president even more encouraged to
[353]
get out and see four more years of the
[355]
rising wages low unemployment the GDP
[358]
growth and all of the great work this
[360]
president is doing to ensure that we are
[361]
in a renewed American spirit what should
[364]
be the confident consequences for Mitt
[366]
Romney and his perfidy his his betrayal
[371]
if I were a Mitch McConnell I would
[373]
expel Mitt Romney from the Republican
[375]
caucus he has not acted like a
[377]
Republican he has shown no interest in
[380]
working with this administration or
[381]
Republicans who are eager to seize the
[383]
opportunity of the Trump presidency and
[385]
frankly I don't know what the difference
[387]
is between Mitt Romney and a Democrat at
[389]
this point because he not only voted
[392]
with them he undertook their arguments
[395]
that are fundamentally D legitimizing of
[397]
the movement that has fueled all of the
[399]
successes that we have had over these
[401]
last several years I want to keep the
[403]
good times rolling and I don't think
[405]
Mitt Romney is focused on anything other
[407]
than the self aggrandizing of Mitt
[408]
Romney now he's he's lost sight for some
[413]
time now of who the leader is and who is
[416]
the follower and he is neither which I
[420]
think leads to much of his abhorrent
[423]
conduct Congressman Matt Gaetz delighted
[426]
to spend part of the celebratory
[427]
acquittal day with you and I guess
[431]
they're all acquittal days forevermore
[433]
acquitted forever I believe is the
[435]
expression and acquitted wherever we
[438]
will be operating for the brother well
[440]
forever Matt Gaetz thanks so much
