Deepfake Mark Zuckerberg, Elon Musk & Bill Gates | 'FORWARD' - YouTube
Channel: unknown
[1]
- Hey everyone.
[3]
2020 has been a really tough year
[6]
and it's rare that we
hear any good news at all,
[9]
but today I'm really excited
[10]
to bring you some epically good news.
[13]
I'm not doing it alone though.
[15]
I brought a few friends.
[18]
- Oh Mark, hey guys Bill Gates here.
[21]
- Hello, Elon Musk.
[23]
- Thanks Bill and Elon.
[25]
So I know that these
days billionaires like us
[27]
aren't exactly everyone's favorite people.
[30]
I mean, I get it.
[31]
When the pandemic began
[33]
the entire global economy took a big hit.
[36]
People, lost their jobs and livelihoods
[39]
and we just got richer.
[41]
It doesn't seem fair.
[42]
And that's because it's not.
[45]
So me and some of the other
richest people in the world
[48]
got together to try and do something
[51]
that would change the
world for the better.
[53]
And together we decided that.
[57]
- [All] We're giving
away all of our money.
[62]
- That was kind of hard to say out loud,
[64]
but you know, guys I
didn't create Facebook
[66]
to make tons of money.
[68]
I saw a chance to make a platform
[70]
where people could
connect with each other.
[72]
And my highest hopes were
that we could eventually
[74]
unite the world with it.
[77]
Facebook is almost two decades old now.
[79]
And though it's made me the
third richest man in the world,
[83]
I'm not sure Facebook is actually
[86]
bringing people together after all.
[88]
In fact it might be doing the opposite,
[91]
almost like amplifying divisions among us.
[94]
Those divisions have
never been clearer today.
[98]
And while we've been
working hard at Facebook
[100]
to intercept misinformation, hate speech,
[103]
and dangerous conspiracy theory content,
[106]
it's just not enough.
[109]
I knew I had to do more.
[111]
So I decided to invest my total fortune
[114]
solely for the purpose
of advancing our society.
[118]
It's the least I can do.
[120]
Bill takeover, I'm getting
all emotional over here.
[124]
- No problem, Mark.
[125]
Guys, I've been a rich
guy for most of my life,
[129]
and well my fortune grew,
[131]
I saw the vast inequality in America,
[134]
and most strikingly in parts
of the developing world.
[138]
So 20 years ago, my wife and I
[141]
started the Bill &
Melinda Gates Foundation.
[145]
Our goal being to try
and improve the world
[149]
with science, technology and education.
[153]
Through our efforts, I'm proud to say that
[155]
we have effectively eradicated polio,
[158]
created a carbon neutral
[160]
and cost efficient sanitation
system for developing nations,
[165]
and even developed a new design
for a nuclear power plant
[170]
that's safer and substantially cheaper
[173]
than the current operating systems.
[176]
We've really achieved a
lot with the foundation,
[179]
but today I know the stakes
are higher and we must do more.
[184]
- Yes, Bill, we must do more.
[187]
And I believe we can.
[189]
And so as a young man, I
loved to read science fiction.
[193]
Like the Foundation series of books.
[196]
Those books inspired me to
[198]
strive to create SpaceX
and Tesla to accelerate
[202]
our shared technological
progress as humankind.
[206]
In the future, I envisioned
a utopian society
[208]
with flying cars and
interplanetary colonies.
[212]
However, these days
[214]
that future seems further
and further out of reach.
[218]
I fear that society might
destroy itself and the planet,
[221]
before we can achieve
technological greatness.
[225]
We need to take decisive action
today to get us on track.
[229]
- Yes, Elon, this is a
pivotal time in human history.
[233]
You see, we all had a
hand in creating the world
[236]
we live in today.
[237]
I created a platform that
connected billions of people.
[240]
Elon made zero emission
transportation a reality
[244]
plus some kick-ass rockets,
[246]
and Bill developed computer software
[249]
that made all our current
technology possible.
[251]
Put all these achievements
will be meaningless
[255]
if we can't fix core problems
[257]
that jeopardize our collective future.
[260]
And that's why we along with
hundreds of other billionaires
[264]
are investing our vast
fortune worth trillions
[268]
into a new mega project called
[270]
The Forward Global Initiative.
[272]
(bright music)
[279]
- I bet many of you are thinking,
[281]
okay, whiz kids sounds a
little hippy dippy to me,
[284]
what the heck are you
talking about? (chuckling)
[288]
Well, first off, shh,
[290]
we're way smarter than you.
[293]
And second we're about to explain.
[296]
The sole purpose of The Foreword
Global Initiative or FGI
[301]
is to systematically assess
the problems in the world
[305]
that hold back human
progress and to design
[309]
and implement technological systems
[312]
to alleviate those stresses,
[314]
so we can live better lives.
[317]
Wow, sounds pretty epic, huh?
[319]
Well, it is.
[321]
- Epic, indeed Bill.
[324]
Disruption is good, it forces change.
[328]
So let's disrupt a few things, shall we?
[331]
We're talking about
issues like world hunger
[334]
and homelessness, and world health,
[338]
viruses diseases and economic stagnation,
[343]
inflation, deforestation,
pollution, and climate change,
[347]
all huge complex problems, right?
[350]
Well, yes, but you know what?
[353]
With the strategic
implementation of technology
[356]
and accelerating innovation
across all these sectors,
[361]
we can actually solve every
single issue together.
[366]
- And you know the most
precious resource on earth
[369]
is actually time.
[370]
So we shouldn't waste it.
[373]
We already have many of the
tools needed to fix these issues
[377]
and others we will
develop further in time.
[381]
Take homelessness for example,
[383]
a problem that requires a
multifaceted approach to fix.
[388]
But for a start we can design
autonomous 3D printing robots
[394]
that make entire communities
of low income housing
[397]
in a matter of weeks.
[399]
With advanced robotics and AI,
[402]
we can even plant enough food
[404]
to sustain billions of hungry people.
[408]
We can use the same technology
to plant millions of trees
[411]
and clean up the oceans
[413]
and even repair bridge
and road infrastructure.
[418]
- And how about diseases like
Alzheimer's, cancer, AIDS,
[421]
and of course, viral outbreaks.
[423]
With enough computing power,
[424]
there's no limit to what we can do.
[426]
In the forthcoming age
of quantum computing,
[429]
we will be able to develop AI programs,
[431]
running billions of computations a second
[434]
for as long as it takes to analyze DNA
[436]
and find therapies,
vaccines, and treatments
[440]
to cure these diseases,
[441]
even prevent them in the future.
[443]
That's the power of technology.
[445]
We shouldn't be afraid of AI.
[447]
We should harness it for the
greater good of humanity.
[451]
- I'm not sure we should be trusting AI,
[454]
but anyway,
[457]
what about the looming disaster
that is climate change,
[461]
perhaps the biggest
problem of our generation?
[464]
Well, along with mass adoption
[466]
of new ultra low cost solar cells
[469]
and all EV transportation from Tesla,
[472]
the SpaceX team is currently
developing satellites
[477]
that can form a giant UV blocking
canopy over the North Pole
[482]
to reduce rising temperatures
and begin the process
[485]
of reforming massive ice shelves
[488]
that should help cool
the earth down enough
[491]
to delay rising sea levels,
[495]
reduce harmful erratic weather systems,
[497]
and destructive foresights.
[501]
- Elon that sounds great,
[503]
but also insanely expensive
even with trillions of dollars,
[508]
but how can we pull this off?
[511]
- Always the syndicate kind of Gates.
[513]
Well, I'll tell you how.
[515]
We've located several small asteroids
[518]
made of precious nickel, gold and platinum
[521]
in our solar system.
[522]
And we have drones spacecraft in route
[527]
to intercept these giant space rocks
[529]
and pull them into the moon's orbit,
[532]
where there can be mined
[533]
and not only provided enough
raw materials for batteries
[537]
for the next 1000 years,
[538]
but also bring enough monetary wealth
[543]
to sustain FGI for the
next 300 years at least.
[547]
With this assured resource,
[548]
we can keep innovating in
new futuristic technologies.
[553]
We could colonize Mars,
sustain the moon base,
[556]
and launch Starlink satellites worldwide
[561]
providing internet and communications
[562]
to the entire planet for free
[566]
and maybe make some flying costume.
[571]
- Wow, Elon impressive stuff.
[574]
With free global internet access,
[576]
people could seek knowledge
to better themselves,
[579]
become literate and educated,
[583]
or they might just spend all their time
[585]
making TikTok dance videos. (chuckling)
[587]
Oh well, but one thing rocket man,
[591]
if you bring a giant asteroid
sized rock of gold to earth,
[596]
the value of gold in the world market
[599]
would plummet to near zero. (chuckling)
[602]
Did you even go to business school?
[606]
- Yes I did or I didn't actually,
[610]
and I'll be keeping the giant rock of gold
[612]
in orbit around the moon.
[614]
So anybody who can't get there
[616]
can get the gold either, smart guy.
[619]
- Maybe I'll build a flying
car and go there myself.
[625]
- You know on the topic of economics,
[627]
I thought I'd mentioned
[628]
that this isn't a socialist
cult video or anything,
[631]
we're all super rich guys.
[633]
We're down with capitalism.
[635]
It's not a perfect system,
but it is responsible
[638]
for all our society's growth
and advancement so far.
[641]
That said, we have so much money.
[643]
We don't know what to do with it.
[645]
And since we have so much messed up stuff
[647]
going on in the world right now,
[648]
and our governments are too
slow, or too dumb to fix things,
[652]
we just said, screw it,
[654]
let's invest in our
future and lead the way,
[656]
while we have the time, the money,
[658]
and a coalition of the
richest people in the world,
[661]
ready to throw down and fix
some things around this planet.
[665]
- But hey Mark, what about the
richest person in the world,
[669]
is he on board?
[670]
Let's ask him.
[671]
(keyboard clattering)
[674]
(electronic sound effect)
[676]
Him in.
[680]
- Neat trick Bill, cute presentation guys.
[683]
What's up, I'm a very busy man.
[687]
- Jeff, are you gonna invest
[688]
in The Forward Global Initiative or what?
[696]
- All right, I'll throw like
a hundred billion at it, cool.
[701]
- Okay, that's cool.
[703]
- Very cool.
[705]
- Cool.
[707]
- Great, I'll wire the money, Bezos out.
[711]
(electronic sound effect)
[714]
- All right everyone,
[715]
we know there's more problems
out there than we can count
[718]
and more issues seem to arise each day.
[720]
But just think for a moment,
if we could all come together
[724]
and rally behind this
cause to improve our lives
[727]
and improve our planet.
[729]
- And if our children weren't
dying of curable diseases.
[732]
And if everyone on earth had access
[734]
to clean water and housing.
[736]
- And if the entire world was connected
[738]
and we solved climate change.
[741]
- Imagine what a world it would be.
[743]
It's more like the world I
envisioned for my children.
[748]
- And mine too.
[749]
- Yeah, mine as well.
[752]
- Guys, we know money can't fix
[754]
all the problems in the world today.
[756]
There's still gonna be
divisions between us
[758]
even if we fixed all the
technical problems we could.
[761]
But what money can do is help
keep our common home alive
[766]
and improve the lives of billions.
[768]
We can unite the world in a shared goal
[770]
to get us all on the right path,
[772]
to a better futuristic society.
[774]
We have the power to do
this in our lifetimes.
[779]
We can save the world, but
money alone won't do it.
[783]
We need you.
[785]
The Forward Global Initiative
[787]
we'll need the best and the brightest,
[789]
are scholars, doctors,
scientists, engineers,
[793]
artists, designers, builders.
[796]
We need everyone in the world
[797]
working together on
this to make it happen.
[800]
You know, this is bigger
than our politics.
[802]
We can't expect politicians to
do everything for us, right?
[806]
We've got to lead the
way starting right now.
[810]
Guys, this is the cause of a generation
[813]
to change the course of humankind
[816]
and bring us forward together.
[818]
