(festive music)
[1]
- Oh wow.
[4]
- Yes.
[13]
- We decided that we wanted
to be children once again
[17]
and get a gumball from
the gumball machine.
[19]
- Come on, tell me I have a quarter.
[20]
- So we are raiding our wallets for
[22]
I have quarters, my
wallet's just in the car.
[26]
You don't have any quarters?
[28]
- No, I think I gave someone quarters
[29]
the other day for something.
[30]
- We might be out of luck, peeps.
[33]
We might not get any gumballs today.
[34]
Mom might be coming to the rescue
[36]
with some quarters right now.
[37]
- I don't know, maybe. Maybe.
[39]
- Come on!
[44]
- Nothing.
[45]
- Are you kidding?
[46]
- It's in my car. I have some in my car.
[48]
I have the quarters.
[49]
- So this is your allowance.
[50]
Don't spend it all in one place.
[51]
- Not only do I have one quarter.
[52]
- Oh!
[53]
- Asa!
[55]
- Asa, come get your allowance.
[57]
Yay!
[58]
Don't spend it all in one place.
[60]
- Quarter!
[63]
Oh my gosh.
[65]
(machine clicking)
[68]
Oh my gosh.
[75]
- Whose is this?
[76]
- Mine.
[77]
- Numero uno.
[78]
- Aw heck yeah.
[80]
- White! Ooh.
[89]
- I just heard Shaun
say he couldn't find me.
[91]
Let's see if we can scare him.
[93]
Let's see if we can do it.
[95]
(roaring)
[97]
- Oh jeez.
[97]
(laughing)
[99]
You actually got me.
[103]
- Okay. I'm going to do
a fake routine I made up.
[107]
Five, six, seven, eight.
[109]
One, three, five.
[113]
One, three, five.
[119]
Seven. One. Three. Now five.
[124]
One, three, five, seven.
[129]
One, three, hey, five
[133]
One, two,
[135]
- What's up everyone? I am here.
[138]
First of all, look at all the
clothes in the back of my car.
[141]
I've been shooting photos,
[142]
but I wanted to show you guys that we had
[144]
our first snowfall of the winter.
[147]
We've had it snow like,
kinda flurries for a couple
[151]
weeks, but like, just
like a couple of times,
[153]
but it's like our first hard
snow and the mountains are
[155]
officially covered in snow.
Skiing season has begun.
[159]
Unfortunately, I'm
flying home on Thursday,
[161]
so I can't ski before I leave.
But next semester, for sure.
[165]
I'm in the middle of like finals weeks,
[167]
so that's been crazy.
[169]
But I like looking at the
pretty mountains with the snow.
[172]
I'll show you guys what it
looks like. It's so pretty.
[174]
(upbeat music)
[179]
So I came to check on
the building. We finally,
[181]
after like literally five months,
[183]
got our permits fully complete
and signed off from the city.
[187]
So it's the first time I'm
actually seeing them build
[190]
the building. So here we go.
[197]
So exciting!
[198]
So we just went to a little
cheer showcase for Pais.
[201]
Pais, you did a great job!
[204]
- I'm hungry.
[206]
- And it was all socially
distanced and they broke the group
[209]
into like four groups.
[211]
So the numbers were low and
we all had to wear masks,
[213]
but she did a great job. Getting ready!
[217]
- It's hot in the gym.
[218]
So it feels good out here.
[220]
It feels like it's summer still out here.
[222]
- Next time we'll make
sure you have your uniform.
[226]
She started her season
late because of COVID.
[229]
And so her uniform has not ready.
[231]
So we went to Paisley's cheer thing.
[233]
Then we went to the lunch
and now we are going to the
[237]
Arboretum to see the 12
days of Christmas displays.
[241]
So it's the most beautiful
day. It's like 50 something.
[245]
It's chilly, but not cold.
[247]
- So we were inside the Arboretum now.
[249]
What do we got behind us?
What are we looking at?
[251]
Paisley? Day one. What?
[254]
- The partridge in the pear tree.
[257]
- The partridge in a pear
tree. Do you know that song?
[259]
- Okay guys. I have the bow
in my hair because cheer.
[262]
- Because of cheer. Yeah.
[263]
So let's take a look.
[264]
Here, look behind us and
there's the partridge
[266]
in a pear tree.
[268]
(festive music)
[273]
Okay. What do we have here?
[275]
We're on day two Jackson.
What are we looking at?
[277]
- Two turtle doves.
[278]
- Two turtle doves, right, Paisley?
[280]
Can you see it? Right behind me here.
[283]
Two turtle doves.
[284]
(festive music)
[293]
Okay. Brooklyn.
[294]
We're on day three and we're seeing what?
[296]
- Three French hens, so.
[297]
- Three French hens.
[298]
Do you notice a bird theme going on here?
[299]
- Yeah, it's got some bird issues.
[301]
- There's some bird issues
going on here, right?
[304]
- Yeah.
[304]
(festive music)
[313]
- Okay. Now we have day four.
[315]
- Four calling birds.
[316]
- Four calling birds. Guess
who's not a calling bird?
[318]
Kamri's not a calling bird right now, huh?
[320]
(laughs)
[321]
She doesn't call.
[322]
- Kamri's not a calling bird.
[323]
- She doesn't call home!
[324]
(festive music)
[331]
Okay. Here we are on day five.
[333]
And what do we have?
[334]
- Five golden rings.
[335]
- Five golden rings.
[336]
Can we promise not to
add one more golden ring
[338]
this season please?
[338]
- No way, Jose, I'm waiting for this baby.
[340]
- No you're not. She's not.
[342]
(festive music)
[349]
Okay. Now we're on day
six. What do we have here?
[352]
- Geese a-laying.
[353]
- How many?
[354]
- Six.
[355]
- Six geese a-laying!
[356]
That sounds like my kids around the house.
[357]
(laughs)
[360]
(festive music)
[369]
And now we have day
seven. What's day seven?
[371]
- Seven swans a-swimming.
[373]
- Seven swans a-swimming. He's married.
[375]
He's not married. I
don't wanna say that yet.
[377]
(laughs)
[378]
He's dating one of my
beautiful swans right now.
[380]
- Yes.
[381]
(festive music)
[387]
- Okay here we are. What day are we?
[390]
- [Both] Eight.
[391]
- Day eight.
[392]
- Eight maids a-milking.
[392]
- Eight maids a-milking.
That's what Mom felt like
[394]
when she was breastfeeding you.
[396]
(laughs)
[399]
(festive music)
[403]
Hey we're now on day?
[405]
- Nine.
[405]
- Nine, and what do we have?
[407]
- Ladies dancing.
[408]
- Nine ladies dancing. Guess what?
[410]
You need to be up there
[411]
because you're better than all of them.
[413]
- No.
[413]
- You're a better dancer than all of them.
[415]
(festive music)
[424]
Now we're on day 10. What
do we have this time?
[428]
- 10 lords a-leaping.
[429]
- 10 lords a-leaping.
[430]
Do you know what a leaping lord is?
[432]
- Yeah?
[432]
- It's it's, it's a very
prestigious man who jumps.
[436]
Can you show me how?
[439]
Good job, bud.
[441]
(festive music)
[455]
Okay Rylan. And what do
we have today? Day 11?
[458]
- Pipers piping.
[459]
- How many?
[460]
- Eleven.
[461]
- Eleven.
[462]
This is for all the moms who
gave their kids on accident
[463]
or grandparents who gave
their kids musical instruments
[466]
when they were little. Right?
[468]
All the piping and tooting on
horns going on in the house?
[471]
- Yeah don't give your kid a piano.
[472]
- Don't give your kid
any drums. Clarinets.
[475]
(festive music)
[493]
- Okay. Day 12. Speaking
of drums, what do we have?
[497]
- Twelve drummers drumming.
[498]
- Twelve drummers drumming. Yeah.
[501]
Do you think that'd be a
quiet house to live in?
[504]
- We went into the
village and I got candy.
[506]
- Oh yeah, she's just
crazy about the sucker.
[508]
(festive music)
[517]
- What do you think of the tree?
[519]
- Yeah it's pretty.
[520]
- What do you think of the tree?
[523]
- It's so big.
[525]
- There it is.
[528]
- Can we go skate?
[530]
- This is the biggest
indoor tree in the world.
[534]
In the nation. In the nation.
[539]
And it's going to do a whole
synchronized dance for us
[540]
in a minute.
[541]
So to end our day, well afternoon,
[544]
we left the Arboretum
and drove to the Galleria
[547]
to check out the biggest
indoor Christmas tree
[550]
in the nation. And we're
going to see it do its dance
[553]
in a minute with the lights.
[560]
- Oh wow.
[567]
(festive music)
