what happened before that makes this a

serious continuation and while a lot of

this information is subject to change

once they have actors in place and the

story has been adjusted we learned an

incredible amount of information here

the first obvious thing is that we don't

see a cast wrapped around the character

of sam beckett we feel strongly that
[682]
scott bakula will be in this show he has
[685]
nothing else in production he loved the
[687]
show he loves bellisario and there is no
[690]
reason why he wouldn't come back and
[692]
since they aren't rebooting the show it
[694]
will be very easy to insert him into the
[696]
series during the first season perhaps
[699]
ben leaps into a time where sam is and
[701]
the team begins working on a way to leap
[703]
both ben and sam together trying to get
[706]
them home the possibilities are
[708]
limitless the fact that they are
[710]
continuing the show in real time is a
[712]
huge indicator that we will see bakula
[714]
at some point so why aren't we hearing
[717]
about it not only will the show want it
[719]
to be a mid-season or season-ending
[721]
surprise but bakula will need to play
[723]
coy so the studio backs up that dump

truck full of money for him

it also seems like we might be spending

a whole lot more time in the present

than we did during the original series

the fact that we have so many more cast

members as well as a recurring guest

that was working with ben in the present

means we are going to see multiple

episodes with her in the story in the

present time what was once a full

immersion into history will likely now

be broken up into show segments with

each character playing a role in trying

to get ben and hopefully sam both home

the casting sheet also tells us that ben

leaps back into the late 80s where he

will jump into the body of the husband

of naomi naomi will be asking her

husband for a divorce perhaps ben is

there to set things right with the

couple while simultaneously helping pull

baby jessica out of the well in midland

texas in 1987. one of the most

interesting points is what the casting

call says about jen's character it is

her mission to figure out how ben could
[784]
have both let back in time and erased

all evidence of the leap in the future

this means we are going to have a

mystery unraveling back at headquarters

ben made the leap but they have no

evidence of it does this mean the
[797]
pentagon may not believe ben leapt into
[799]
the past and the team needs to prove he
[801]
wasn't murdered why would evidence of
[803]
his leap be important enough to mention
[805]
if it wasn't important to the series
[807]
plot in season 1 at the very least at
[809]
this point let's be clear if there is no

scott bakula in this quantum leap series

we do not support it regardless of who

nbc casts the key here is bacula and

making sure sam gets home once and for
