[154]
this 60 million dollars that was
[155]
funneled from an energy company
[157]
essentially
[158]
became bribes money that not only helped
[160]
secure the passage of house bill 6
[163]
and helped a nuclear energy company but
[165]
it also lined the pockets according to
[167]
prosecutors

and four other men accused in taking
[190]
part in a 60 million dollar bribery
[192]
scheme
[193]
according to prosecutors some of the
[195]
money was used to help secure larry
[197]
householder as house speaker
[199]
and to help secure votes to pass house
[201]
bill 6
[202]
a 1 billion bailout that helped secure
[205]
the future of two
[206]
failing nuclear power plants in ohio run

by first energy
[210]
while the company was not named in the

[282]
prosecutors also alleged that the
[284]
defendants paid themselves personally
[286]
millions of dollars in company a bribe
[288]
payments
[292]
some of that money according to
[293]
prosecutors was used by larry
[295]
householder to help settle a personal
[297]
lawsuit and also go to a payment for his
[299]
florida home
[300]
now no pleas today we're entered for

[318]
first energy
[319]
asking a company spokeswoman if the
[321]
company was aware that this money was
[323]
essentially going to be used
[324]
to grease the tracks used as bribes she
[327]
didn't have a comment to that question
[328]
but said that the company
[329]
