ongoing fbi investigation that has left

more questions than answers tonight and

here's what we know

it was just after nine this morning when
[9]
fbi agents began raiding a local
[11]
construction business

agents arrived at fulton construction on
[15]
2nd street in downtown corpus christi
[17]
at the same time another group of fbi
[19]
agents arrived at the home of ccisd
[21]
board member john longoria
[23]
on denver avenue near ocean drive
[27]
and tonight our michael gibson leads us

off leads the coverage of this

developing story he joins us live

tonight outside of the fulton
[34]
construction company with what we're
[36]
learning
[37]
about today's rates hey there michael

hi leslie we are actually outside of the
[43]
home of ccid school board member
[46]
john longoria former city councilman his
[48]
home was one of two sites
[50]
raided by fbi agents early this morning
[54]
fbi investigators confirmed to three
[56]
news they executed search warrants
[58]
at two locations in corpus christi those
[60]
locations
[61]
being in the 2800 block of denver avenue
[64]
and 1102
[65]
2nd street this is video from our three

showing fbi agents and corpus christi

police officers

raiding the office at 1102 second street

the office
[75]
is owned by fulton construction formerly
[78]
known
[78]
as fulton coast con now at the same time

the fbi was here at this home in the
[84]
2800 block of denver near oleander

we now know the home is owned by corpus
[88]
christi school board trustee
[90]
john longoria we contacted mr longoria
[92]
about the situation
[93]
at his home he told 3 news that he had
[96]
no comment
[97]
to be clear law enforcement officials
[99]
have not made any allegations against mr
[101]
longoria
[102]
nor have they said mr longoria is under
[104]
investigation
[105]
his connection to this case if any is
[107]
still undisclosed at this time

now fbi agents were at both locations
[112]
all morning and through the early
[113]
afternoon hours
[114]
three news had reporters on both scenes

we can confirm
[118]
multiple boxes were taken away from each
[120]
scene and loaded into government
[122]
vehicles
[123]
it's not clear what was in those boxes

though investigators have not disclosed

whether there's any connection between
[129]
the two locations
[131]
longoria is a long-standing trustee on
[133]
the corpus christi school board
[135]
and is the current manager of economic
[137]
and business development
[138]
for aep he previously served on the
[141]
corpus christi city council from 1995
[144]
to 2003 and has been affiliated with the
[147]
corpus christi regional transit
[148]
authority
[149]
as well as del mar college fulton
[152]
construction
[153]
also has a long-standing tie to the
[155]
corpus christi community
[157]
they were involved in the construction
[159]
of the nueces county courthouse
[160]
the omni hotel and multiple projects for
[163]
the corpus christi isd
[165]
including the brand new mary carroll
[167]
high school
[168]
again law enforcement officials have not
[170]
made any allegations against longoria
[173]
or fulton construction at this time the

fbi

has limited their statement to only

confirming
[180]
they were on scene at those locations

explaining
[183]
because court records related to these
[185]
matters are not
[186]
public no additional information can be

provided

at this time

this afternoon ccisd released a

statement

about this whole entire affair they said

they were basically made aware at the
[202]
same time the media was
[203]
about full con fulton construction and
[206]
ccisd
[207]
trustee john longoria and right now we

are still waiting
[211]
for these records to be unsealed for
[215]
this indictment to be unsealed we're not
[216]
exactly sure
[217]
when that's going to happen but
[219]
hopefully tomorrow we will have
[221]
many more answers to a lot of the
[223]
questions that still remain about this
[224]

the fbi has not confirmed a connection

between the two locations

and no allegations have been made

against longoria or the construction
[250]
company so

anything else potentially linking the
[253]
two raids together is speculation

at this point but of course as more

details become available to us we will
