Good Afternoon Ladies and Gentlemen and welcome to WIGWAM and LAKEMEAD dental care.

My name is Sabina and I’m a Manager for both offices.

I'm very proud to say that I’ve been with this company for the past 18 years.

I’m here today to try to answer all of the questions you might have about your insurance company.

I know there's a lot of insurances out there and a lot of patients ask me what’s the best insurance to buy.

There are Intermediary plans,

PPO plans,

there are self-funded plans,

HML plans

and discount plans.

Little by little I’ll give you information about each one of those plans so you can decide what’s best for you.

We will start with intermediary plans.

Those plans do not have the particular fee schedules.

The good thing about that plan that you could go to any dentist and any dentist will accept that.

Your price, your co-payment will depend on a prices of that particular dentist.

The second insurance we will talk about is a PPO insurance.

a PPO insurances usually have a yearly maximum and a deductible your co-payments are based on preventive diagnostic care,

basic and major.

so it really varies depending on the plan but your co-payments depend on that.

They usually depend whether your dentist is a provider or non-provider for that particular plan as well.

So if You do have your PPO insurance,

please go to the website and chose a provider because this way your co-payments will be much cheaper than if you go to non-provider.

We are providers for the most PPO insurances.

You can play up the list on our website,

it will let you know whether we provide for your insurance or not.

There are self-funded plans for civil unions and we are providers for, prefer providers for `local 711, Local 986 and local 14`.

Which means that when you come over to us have any of this insurance you will no co-payments at all.

We have a contract with those plans that will do take your insurance payment as a payment in full.

so unless you don’t let any cosmetic work which is a teeth whitening about your insurance would not cover.

You have no problems if you come over and see our doctors at WIGWAM or LAKEMEAD Dental.

There are HML plans.

The difference is that HML plans you do not have a yearly maximum.

Your insurance is based on a fee schedule.

Not on the percentage but you can only go to provider.

so if you have an emergency you’re out of town or a business trip,

you have an emergency most of the time it means that you have to go to emergency care

and you won't be able to see a dentist who is not a provider to your insurance.

The last but not least are discount plans.

Discounts are based on fee schedules as well.

We are very proud to let you know we are our own discount plan at WIGWAM and LEADMEAD Dental.

The difference between our discount plan and other the discount plan that there is out there that you do not have to pay monthly premium.

So you come in if you are interested, you sign a paper work you get a copy of the fee schedule for that particular discount plan,

and in the future when we do your treatment your payment depends on that discount plan so you can charge accordingly to that plan.

I also wanted to let you know that if you are a lost and you don't know what insurance to buy whether buying it by yourself,

or your employer offers you a plan and you don’t know what you're trying to pick and you don't know how it works.
