How to avoid high Ethereum gas fee | Binance smart chain to rescue - YouTube

Channel: Let's get Bitcoin

[5]
Hello guys
[7]
In this video we'll see how we can avoid ethereum high gas fees
[12]
Which are faced during withdrawals and De-Fi exchanges
[17]
like uniswap, 1inch exchange & dydx
[21]
recently I was trying to trade in dydx which went something like this
[32]
to avoid ethereum fees we will use Binance smart chain
[37]
lets go to the procedure of its setup
[41]
I am using metamask for the setup but
[43]
you can use binance smart chain wallets like trust and binance chain wallet
[49]
first we need to go to binance guide
[52]
then we need to click on metamask extension
[57]
then go to metamask settings
[60]
then go to Networks>Add networks
[63]
then fill here the same values provided in binance guide
[70]
after filling values it would look something like this
[72]
my smart chain is already integrated so it says URL already present
[78]
after putting all the values click on save button
[83]
then click on ethereum mainnet and select smart chain network
[89]
now whatever token that you send on this address
[93]
that is supported by binance smart chain will show here
[96]
if not go to add token then custom token
[100]
paste the contract address of your token
[103]
these values will be filled automatically
[105]
then after clicking next token would show in your wallet
[109]
now if you want to withdrawal a token
[112]
let's say USDC
[114]
so binance gives you three options
[117]
binace chain, binance smart chain & ethereum
[120]
you can see ethereum network fees is 11 USDC
[124]
binace smart chain fees is $0.08 and $0.04 for binance chain
[131]
we are using binance smart chain who's network name is BEP20
[139]
we'll click here and go to metamask
[144]
copy the address and past it here
[149]
type your withdrawal amount here
[154]
after clicking on submit the amount will show on your metamask wallet
[160]
in low fees
[162]
now you must be thinking USDC is in ethereum blockchain so how could it be sent to binance smart chain
[168]
so this is not real USDC it's binance pegged-USDC
[172]
which is issued by binance and its value is always equivalent to real USDC
[176]
which is garunteed by binance
[180]
and not only ethereum blockchain
[183]
you can also transfer bitcoin or litecoin that is pegged by binance
[190]
now comes DeFi exchanges
[192]
this is uniswap exchange that runs on ethereum blockchain
[197]
now if you want to approve USDT before swapping
[202]
you will now see fees taken
[208]
it shows $4.95
[212]
Now we will go to pancake swap of bianace smart chain
[216]
let me change the network
[219]
in metamask to smart chain
[224]
now if we want to apporve the transaction for swap
[230]
now lets see the fees taken by it
[234]
$0.04 means ethereum network had $4 and this has $0.04
[242]
there is a difference in these that in uniswap you need to hold ethereum in wallet
[247]
so that transaction gas fee can be covered
[251]
in pancake swap you'll need small amount of BNB in wallet
[256]
so that transaction fees can be covered which is very low as compared to ethereum
[265]
