Mass Protest CRACKDOWN After Bank Run in China - YouTube

Mass protests over a multibillion dollar banking scandal
[4]
NATO could come to the Pacific
[6]
And Xi Jinping plans his first trip outside mainland China in years
[11]
That and more on this week’s China news headlines
[22]
Welcome to China Uncensored, I’m Chris Chappell.

[48]

[51]
For two months, more than 400,000 people in China haven’t been able to access their
[56]
bank accounts.
[58]
On the line is 6 billion dollars.
[60]
It’s being called one of China’s largest financial scandals.
[64]
This week, hundreds of protesters lined up outside the government banking regulator in
[68]
Henan province.
[70]
They were watched closely by police.
[73]
Some people brought the Chinese flag, obviously hoping that authorities would see they’re
[77]
not against the Chinese Communist Party so please don’t kill them.
[82]
Sorry to tell you, but the Tiananmen protesters back in 1989 tried that one.
[86]
Didn’t work.
[87]
Not that the younger bank protesters this week would have ever heard about Tiananmen.
[92]
This isn’t the first time people have protested these Henan banks.
[96]
But since people still haven’t gotten their money back, they’re still going to protest.
[100]
Here’s how things are going for them in this latest protest: Local authorities sent
[105]
in SWAT trucks to help them out.
[107]
Now originally this protest was supposed to be much bigger.
[110]
Except for many protesters —over 1000 in fact—their mandatory Covid health app suddenly
[116]
turned red.
[118]
That happened when they tried to travel to the protest, enter train stations, hotels,
[122]
or even before they left their homes.
[124]
Which means they were suddenly considered Covid positive.
[128]
And with the authoritarian Zero Covid policy in place, they were “forced to quarantine,
[132]
blocked from public transport or entering buildings”.
[136]
And this mysteriously happened even when people hadn’t come in contact with any Covid cases.
[142]
Wow, they were Covid positive after no exposure?
[147]
What is this,
[148]
the Sonic the Hedgehog strain?
[149]
The fastest Covid in the world!
[152]
Also the most unnerving.
[153]
Supposedly, at least five officials behind abusing the health codes to stop these protests
[158]
have been punished.
[159]
However, “The announcement stopped short of referring to any potential legal violations
[164]
by the officials, suggesting their punishments will not go beyond internal party disciplinary
[170]
action.”
[171]
Meanwhile, hundreds of thousands of people are still locked out of their bank accounts.
[176]
At this point they may as well say their money has Covid, and they should all thank the Chinese
[181]
Communist Party for quarantining it away from them.
[183]
I can’t wait till we get that system in America.
[187]
And coming up after the break, is NATO going up against China?
[191]
Welcome back.

[239]
We’re up against a lot.
[240]
Links to everything are below.
[243]
NATO is the North Atlantic Treaty Organization—a group of North American and European countries
[249]
that was founded after World War II to counter military threats from the Soviet Union.
[254]
Well, this year’s NATO summit had some new first-time guests: South Korea, Japan, Australia,
[261]
and New Zealand.
[263]
Obviously they’d want to attend the North Atlantic Treaty Organization.
[266]
It’s the hottest ticket around.
[268]
NATO is like the Coachella of foreign policy

[271]
with slightly less stupid outfits.
[274]
So why the guests from the East?
[276]
Well, “The alliance is set to label China a ‘systemic challenge’ in new policy
[280]
guidelines for the coming decade.”
[282]
Needless to say the Chinese Communist Party is a little worried that NATO may be setting
[286]
its sights on China.
[288]
I mean after all, NATO has been so effective at reining in Russia.
[292]
That’s why China is telling NATO to butt out of Asia.
[296]
“In recent years, NATO has continuously entered the Asia-Pacific region
They should
[302]
also stop trying to launch a new Cold War.
[305]
What they should do is give up their Cold War mindset, zero-sum games, and stop doing
[311]
things that create enemies.
[314]
Stop trying to mess up Asia and the world after messing up Europe.”
[318]
Yeah, stop creating enemies
by telling dictators they shouldn’t invade sovereign
[323]
nations.
[324]
Of course NATO’s secretary general says China is not an adversary.
[329]
“We don't regard China as an adversary and China of course, is soon (to be) the biggest
[335]
economy in the world.
[337]
We need to engage with China, for instance, on issues like climate change.”
[340]
Yes, climate change, of course!
[343]
Let’s keep turning a blind eye to the Chinese regime’s atrocities so we can get their
[347]
help to make the world a better place.
[350]
What could go wrong.
[352]
But it might not just be NATO the Chinese Communist Party needs to worry about.
[356]
On Sunday, the G7 unveiled a $600 billion investment plan to counter China’s Belt
[362]
and Road Initiative.
[364]
The Belt and Road is China’s multi-trillion-dollar global investment scheme.
[369]
$200 billion for the G7 plan will come from the United States.
[373]
Because why not, we can just print more money, right?
[376]
Actually, that’s not a big problem, because this isn’t even a new program.
[381]
It’s the same program the G7 already agreed to a year ago, but then didn’t implement.
[387]
“The infrastructure plan was first unveiled a year ago, at last year’s G7 in Britain,
[392]
but little progress was made and the program has been renamed.”
[396]
It was originally going to be called the Build Back Better World, after President Biden’s
[400]
plan, but

[401]
that stopped sounding like a good idea after Biden’s plan died.
[405]
They should rename this infrastructure plan after something that didn’t fail as spectacularly
[409]
as Build Back Better.
[411]
Like New Coke.
[413]
Anyway I’m sure China is terrified.
[415]
And after the break, China’s new aircraft carrier may have been built with stolen US
[421]
tech.
[423]
Welcome back.
[424]
We know the Chinese military has stolen US technology.
[428]
They stole the designs for the F-35...
[430]
NASA’s hypersonic nuclear missile...
[433]
And even the American flag.
[435]
A bunch of stars in the upper left-hand corner?
[438]
America had that first.
[440]
Well now China’s latest and most advanced aircraft carrier, the Type 003 Fujian is also
[446]
being accused of being based off stolen US tech.
[451]
Quit stealing our ideas, you hacks!
[453]
I swear, the Chinese military is
[454]
the Carlos Mencia of warfare.
[457]
The biggest advancement in the Fujian is an electromagnetic catapult that launches planes.
[462]
Up until the Fujian, only the US had that technology.
[465]
According to Captain Jim Fanell , former director of Intelligence for the U.S. Pacific Fleet,
[470]
“There is no question that the PRC has once again stolen [electromagnetic catapult] technology
[476]
from the US Navy.”
[477]
He said, “Anyone who suggests otherwise is only providing cover for the PRC’s espionage
[484]
programs.”
[485]
Denying this is like saying Burger King’s Big King isn’t just a ripoff of McDonald’s
[489]
Big Mac.
[490]
What do you mean they’re not the same?
[492]
Just look!
[493]
They both have two all beef patties, special sauce, lettuce, and cheese on a sesame seed
[498]
electromagnetic catapult!
[502]
Stolen US military tech is obviously a big problem.
[504]
And just this week, a former US Army helicopter pilot pleaded guilty to selling aviation technology
[510]
secrets to China.
[513]
And perhaps even worse, “He also pleaded guilty to making related false statements
[517]
during national security background checks.”
[520]
I wonder what he lied about?
[521]
“Did you sell secrets to China?”
[524]
“No
”
[525]
“Are you sure?”
[528]
“...also no.”
[531]
The US is now blacklisting Chinese companies for allegedly supporting the Russian army.
[536]
That’s mainly through selling Russia weapons components.
[539]
“The Biden administration has placed five Chinese companies on an export blacklist for
[544]
violating sanctions by allegedly providing support to Russia’s military and defense
[548]
companies before and during the invasion of Ukraine.”
[551]
US companies are now effectively banned from exporting goods to these five Chinese companies.
[557]
Which is good...but makes me wonder: Why were US companies selling goods to Chinese military
[563]
companies in the first place?!
[565]
And speaking of bans, one FCC commissioner wants Google and Apple to ban Tiktok.
[572]
The Chinese Communist Party has access to all American TikTok users’ data.
[577]
People have suspected as much for a long time, but the fact that Tiktok’s Chinese parent
[580]
company still has access to this data was recently confirmed by leaked audio from inside
[586]
Tiktok.
[587]
And what a company in China has access to, the Chinese Communist Party has access to.
[592]
That’s Chinese law.
[594]
Back in 2020, the Biden campaign banned staffers from using Tiktok.
[599]
But then after getting into office, Biden revoked Trump’s nationwide ban on Tiktok.
[603]
I guess he felt like he just had to dance.
[607]
Now everyone gets to participate in the “China Knows Everything About You” challenge

[611]
whether you want to or not.
[614]
Speaking of President Biden, it turns out he may have known a bit more about his son
[618]
Hunter Biden’s sketchy Chinese business deals than he’s let on.
[623]
Which makes this a huge story.
[625]
Since it’s the first time in his presidency that Biden has been accused of actually knowing
[630]
what was going on.
[631]
A voicemail was discovered on Hunter Biden’s infamous laptop.
[635]
You know, the story that was covered up by the mainstream media till after the 2020 election.
[638]
“Hey pal, it’s Dad.
[639]
It’s 8:15 on Wednesday night.
[640]
If you get a chance, just give me a call.
[643]
Nothing urgent.
[646]
I just wanted to talk to you.
[652]
I thought the article released online, it’s going to be printed tomorrow in the Times,
[661]
was good.
[662]
I think you’re clear.
[663]
And anyway if you get a chance, give me a call, I love you.”
[664]
Hmm, that “I love you” is actually kind of heartwarming.
[666]
Throw an “I love you” at the end and any crime you cover up sounds sweeter.
[670]
“Hey, pal, it’s Dad.
[672]
It’s 4:30 AM on Wednesday night.
[674]
I threw that body into the ocean, so you should be in the clear.
[677]
Love you, champ!”
[678]
The article Biden was referencing in that voicemail was this 2018 New York Times article.
[684]
It talks about Hunter’s dealings with Ye Jianming , a big shot Chinese oil tycoon who
[689]
was arrested for alleged economic crimes, and probably also because of Communist Party
[694]
infighting.
[695]
He hasn’t been seen since.
[698]
This topic came up on the campaign trail.
[700]
And Biden said, “I have never spoken to my son about his overseas business dealings.”
[705]
Now it is possible Hunter never called his dad back.
[708]
Admit it, you’ve done that too.
[710]
And so it’s possible they never did have a conversation about his overseas business
[715]
dealings.
[716]
It’s also possible there’s a teacup flying around Jupiter.
[719]
Either Biden is lying
or he’s sad because his son is too busy to make time for his old
[724]
man.
[726]
Chinese leader Xi Jinping is finally leaving mainland China after 893 days at home.
[731]
Unfortunately it's to go to Hong Kong.
[734]
Xi hasn’t left Mainland China since the outbreak of Covid.
[737]
But now, after weeks of rumors, he’s officially visiting Hong Kong for the 25th anniversary
[743]
of the July 1st British handover of Hong Kong to China.
[747]
Here he is arriving in Hong Kong via train.
[750]
He looks happy to be there.
[751]
Just don’t touch him.
[752]
In fact, stay far, far away.
[755]
Here’s his press conference after arriving in Hong Kong.
[759]
It makes sense because Xi Jinping has both a personal zero-Covid policy, and a zero-pesky
[764]
journalist policy.
[766]
Speaking of keeping people away, “Roads and some public transport facilities
will
[770]
be closed in areas where Xi is expected, and drones will be banned across the city.”
[776]
Except for these drones.
[777]
There are always plenty of them around.
[779]
Enough to search the homes of Hong Kong democracy activists and take them down to the police
[783]
station to warn them not to protest on July 1.
[787]
Truly a new era of stability, prosperity, and opportunity for Hong Kong.
[791]
I’d say the citizens of Hong Kong should start waving Chinese flags, but as we’ve
[795]
sadly learned, that would be about as effective as
[798]
last time
[800]
And now, as a thank you to the China Uncensored 50 Cent Army, I’ll answer one of their questions.
[805]
Today’s question comes from DPRofDC on Locals.
[811]
Both Hypnotoad and Pooh have loyal security forces that appear focused on removing each
[816]
other’s allies.
[817]
Is there a chance General Hostility will become a less civil and more pointed grudge match?
[824]
Just for anyone who’s confused by that question, Hypnotoad refers to former Chinese leader
[828]
Jiang Zemin and Pooh, well that’s obviously Xi Jinping.
[832]
Those two are locked in a life or death power struggle that I’ve been detailing in what
[836]
I call General Hostility—everyone’s favorite Communist soap opera.
[840]
It’s funny you mention that because we’ll be having another episode of General Hostility
[844]
coming out tomorrow.
[845]
But as we get closer and closer to the 20th Party Congress, a major meeting of top Communist
[851]
officials later this year, I’m pretty confident things will heat up.
[855]
This is Xi Jinping’s chance to get himself declared leader for life.
[859]
His rivals have to take him down now or it’s possible they’ll never have another chance.
[864]
And Xi knows they’re getting desperate.
[867]
Which means he’s not going to pull any punches himself.
[870]
Be sure to check back tomorrow for the latest update.
[873]
Thanks for your question and your support, DPRofDC.
[876]
And thank you for watching.
