Last night the house of representatives voted
on the right to push forward the $3.5 trillion

spending bill, the right to vote on the $1.2
trillion spending bill near the end of September

and passed a voting rights bill that would
restore federal power over states when it

comes to elections.
The bill to move forward on the $3.5 trillion
[100]
spending bill passed in the house with 220
yes s and 212 no s. The vote went right down
[112]
party lines.
Pelosi was able to convince the 9 moderate

democrats to vote with the party after only
24 hours of putting up a fight.

Now this doesn t mean that it s a done deal.
The bill still has to be written. We know

from past information they want to see free
daycare, free pre-kindergarten, free community
[149]
college, paid time off for parents or parents
paid leave, they want to revamp medicare and

Medicaid to lower the age and change the prescription
drugs pricing to save the government about

$600 billion. Democrats also want to keep
the child tax credit monthly checks permanent.

The not for sure but ideas they ve teased

are a 4th stimulus check, $500 fuel credit,
$500 a month in universal basic income, $4000-$8000

in adult tax credits, $200 monthly increase
for those on social security administration

benefits, $40 billion to help people behind
on utilities, $10,000-$50,000 in student loan

House majority leader Steny Hoyer said with
this vote passing that his democrat colleagues

need to start submitting their plans to include
in the $3.5 trillion stimulus package.

Representative Hoyer said the democrat party
is a big tent party, meaning there are people

from all over the country with different wants
and needs being represented. He wants all
[416]
of them to be able to have a voice and influence
in whats makes it into the final $3.5 trillion

stimulus bill before it is sent back to the
senate to go through the privilege of only

needing 51 votes.
Now is the time for all the different packages

that help people financially to be officially
submitted. As these bills come out I will

definitely bring them to your attention. I
expect there to be lots of new ideas, old

ideas and reworked so they will actually make
it

the bill ideas.

President Biden has announced he will honor
[500]
the August 31st deadline with the Taliban.
He has ordered the military to start their
[507]
rapid withdrawal. This means between 10,000-20,000
americans and children will be left behind
[520]
to figure their own way out. It also means
the United States is leaving citizens behind
[528]
while evacuating 4 times as many Afghans.
Here s what else it means according to a Pentagon
[541]
briefing released today. There is $800 million
in cash at the US embassy. Once the military
[552]
leave and embassy is abandoned, the Taliban
will be able to access the $800 million of
[558]
tax payer money. So we were all worried about
the $450 million in cash that was going to
[566]
be sent earlier this week and now we find
out there are getting $800 million in cash,
[572]
they will seize the $800 million embassy building
and they will get about $85 billion in US
[582]
military equipment.
The Taliban has already begun to mock the
[589]
US by recreating an iconic photo in our stolen
military gear.

When asked about the Afghanistan situation
this morning House Speaker Nancy Pelosi said

she believes President Biden is doing a good
job and I trust his judgement.

However, it seems the American people might
be thinking different than Ms Pelosi. According

to a USA TODAY survey President Biden s approval
rating has dropped to 41%. It was 55% just
[639]
two weeks ago. Now according to this data
55% disapprove of the way Biden is handling
[650]
things as commander in chief. It s the fastest
the American people have ever flipped on an

American president.
The survey showed most American s agreed it
[667]
was time to exit Afghanistan but greatly disapprove
of the way it was done.

When asked who was most to blame this is the
order most ranked. George Bush, Then Obama,

Then Biden and last Trump. 62% said former
president Bush caused the mess and Biden finished

the mess.
Meanwhile back in the United States, school

systems are dealing with staffing shortages
from teachers, the janitors to bus drivers.

Many bus drivers switched to grub hub, uber
eats and being lyft drivers because they could

make more money and found themselves without
income with schools closed. One school district

in Maryland is actually paying parents $700
to drop off and pick up their own kid as they

are 400 bus drivers short.
The head of Nancy Pelosi s January 6th commission

announced he will be using his authority to
subpoena hundreds of republicans emails, phone

history and text messages in order to see
if there was a coordinated effort by republicans

to incite the capitol breach. The FBI had
already announced that after 7 months they

found no coordinated effort but the head of
the committee doesn t trust the FBI and so

wants to do his own republican leader deep
dive.

The pentagon announced that all members of
the armed forces must be vaccinated. There

are several lawsuits fighting this but the
pentagon said it is a requirement.

According to the new Governor of New York,
Kathy Hochul, New York may have had an additional

12,000 deaths not report while Cuomo was governor.
Remember, Cuomo was caught trying to cover

up nursing homes deaths.
In other Cuomo news, remember I told you he

got a $5 million book deal for his bold leadership
during covid and won an Emmy for his acting

performance on TV. Well his Emmy has now been
taken back.

Georgia house representative Marjorie Taylor
Green said she will be filing articles of

Impeachment against President Biden for his
handling of the border, the Afghanistan crisis
[839]
and directly going against the Supreme Court
in the rent eviction situation.

Its not believed these articles of impeachment
will get very far since democrats control
[850]
the house, senate and white house but it is
in the news.

Also, Senator Lindsay Graham from South Carolina
said last night that believes democrats ought

to impeach president Biden over the Afghanistan
crisis. Graham how can you abandon thousands
[875]
of Americans to an enemy and say you are upholding
your sworn duty to protect the American people.

Senate minority leader Mitch McConnell told
Biden he should ignore the august 31st deadline,
[890]
get tough on the Taliban vs bowing to them
and get our people home.

In money news, the stock market is reacting
favorably to the passing of the covid vaccine
[908]
by Pfizer. Nearly all stocks and indexes are
rising.

However, the upcoming debt ceiling battle
has some worried as well as hyper inflation.

25% of all US dollars were printed in the
past year. With the passage of nearly $5 trillion
[929]
more on the horizon, that would mean close
to 50% of all dollars were printed in less
[935]
than 24 months. Some say this is going to
lead to even higher prices as the dollars
[941]
in circulation are inflated.
However, the white house is saying they are
[947]
not at all worried about inflation and to
push forward with these historic spending
[952]
bills. However, federal reserve bank meeting
notes suggest the federal reserve is very
[959]
worried about inflation and raising rates
at the right time.
