HOW I MADE $5K FROM OPTIONS? - YouTube

Hi guys welcome back to noob selling options  and today marks the end of the third friday  

of a trading month. It is october and the third  friday was yesterday. For all my trades, I can  

tabulate the profit and loss over this month.  I'm going to share with you how I actually made  

USD5352 from all the options that I'd executed  They come from four different strategies and  

i'll go through the in four different parts later  on okay so let's move on okay but before we start  

uh this channel is not for financial advice it's  actually for educational purpose of just how i  

share to my trades and if you're really interested  you can actually seek the proper financial advice  

from whoever okay you can find them okay so i'm  gonna share all my trades and how i actually  

execute them and different strategies that i use  and if you stay until the end of the video i'm  

going to show you a high d love hot pot hack okay  so there's always different hacks when you go idle  

and eat okay so i'm going to show you one of the  hack that i did actually just yesterday i'm going  

to eat and i think it's quite interesting so i  will share with you guys and even the waitress is  

also a bit um surprised of how we eat that thing  okay so let's move on okay the first strategy  

is the amount of money that i made from selling  put options so so this part of the wheel strategy  

that i always do so i sell options and if i  got it self-covered because okay let's tabulate  

the amount of money that i've made over  this october period so it's usually from the

uh september until october so this one month  period where i will because i'm always doing  

monthly for for this strategy selling put options  so let's go through it there are six companies  

this uh for this month okay the first one is iron  net so i needed the bomb top and uh it went really  

high so what it means the impact volatility  is high so i did a cell put on iron net and  

i closed it i think two days ago uh yeah because  i have limited margins and i i wanted to save up  

some margins for november okay so november so i  decided to close iron net instead of waiting it to  

to expire then and collect the full premium i  exited and i totally make a total in total i  

mean about 424 on that so purple biotech i also  did the same thing as well as proterra okay i  

and as in fact sdc as well okay so for all  these six companies uh other than micro bus  

and vst which i've have uh wait for it i'm  waited for the option to expire yesterday  

because uh the price was actually too far from my  strike price okay the strike price was about uh  

ten dollars the stock actually went down so this  is what happened in when you sell food sometimes  

the stock went down too far from your strike price  and you probably instead of realizing a loss okay  

you actually take the premium and you sell covered  call the following month which i'm gonna do it on  

monday okay when the market opens okay because  the stock actually hasn't arrived so i don't do it  

first okay so mvst i collected the  full premium which is 737 because i  

gonna buy the stocks okay so it's not a loss on  that because it's just paper loss on the value of  

micro bus but um we'll sell call and eventually we  will clear micro vars at the same price we brought  

in and that's how i actually do my accounting  okay so for the rest of the five iron purple  

biotech proterra smell direct club and e-l-y-s i  actually closed either yesterday or the day before  

because i wanted to use the the margins to  sell put on some other stocks later on okay  

so all in all i actually collected about even  though i closed it you know it's still positive  

you see all the six trades are uh are very  positive so it's two thousand six hundred  

and five dollars that's the power of time decay  okay when you sell uh options the time decay is  

on your site and even though some the prices might  be below the strike price even if i close it i am  

still positive okay that's what happened for iron  net proper biotech proterra okay small direct club  

is not that so it's not the right club is is it is  really um it's the strike price is actually good  

okay the stock is actually above my striper  so i don't need to take the chat i close it  

because i want to just do it do what other  things at that moment okay for the margin  

and even e-l-y-s in technology i actually the  price is actually lower than my strike price but  

even though i close it it's still positive so that  is the power of time decay okay but micro bus is a  

bit different because it went down a bit too much  i can close it for a slight loss but i decided to  

hold it to cover call instead okay for next month  so the second strategy that i do was i i i usually  

i might actually this month in october  i started doing uh leap call options and  

trying to sell kafka at the same time so  i actually buy call options okay and i buy  

leap calls i mean so those options they actually  expire usually in um like 202 three january so

i i did on one a few companies in fact in fact  i did on alibaba i did on sofi i did on penalty  

i did on carnival cruise and i did on a ccxi okay  for a biotech company that that shoots up recently  

so why they are not shown here because i  didn't close them yet okay if once i close them  

i record the profit or loss i would put it here  okay four for edu uh uh that was actually right  

an option that i just bought as a small batch you  see 56 dollars on you know three months ago when  

uh china announced a crackdown on educational  company uh the stock price of all these company  

plummets plummeted and i thought that they might  they might do a quick remote in three months you  

know but apparently not they sort of stayed around  two dollar plus around the region i thought it  

was going to 7.50 so it's a visual thinking on my  behalf and i lost 56 and that's the problem if you  

buy an option seriously the time decay is not  on your side if it doesn't happens if it happens  

uh on monday i'll still lose money but it's fine  okay so it's a small loss it's just a small little  

i think side sides i bet here and there okay  but the main thing is alibaba and so fine  

i bought the leap call option and they  actually went up a few days later so  

considering it i decided to close them and  i locked my profits okay so once i close the  

leave options i will actually update on the  chart okay so so for parents here kind of  

crew cci they are still running and i'm selling  covered calls on them too to get a premium so  

so that's good okay so in total i got about 1175  dollars just by call options okay so this is this  

call option is not selling i bought the call  options and the price did went up so i got it

so for the third strategy that i'm always  using this is the part of the real strategy  

in fact when i sell food when i got the stocks  i do the sell call covered call options okay  

so this is like you're having a property  like this house over here and they're renting  

renting it out and the tenant actually pays you a  monthly money it's for your money income but they  

actually pay you the money rent okay so that is  the idea of a covered cost you i own the stocks  

not really accidentally i own the stocks  because the strike price falls below the  

i mean the stock price falls below the  strike price sorry and then i have to  

use my money the cash secured put i go and  purchase the stocks and meanwhile i'm waiting  

for the stocks to go up it might takes one  month it might take 10 months it might take  

two years but eventually the stock will go up  and i will clear the stocks but meanwhile i'm  

collecting this rental uh sort of rental  income this is called a covered court  

premiums from the person who bought so this  is still a sell sell sell call options okay  

so a person who actually buy the call options will  have to pay me the premiums and i'm collecting it  

on a monthly basis so this is the amount that  uh collected over the this month of october  

so there's so many stocks involved there will be  more stocks involved because i just took one more  

mvst yesterday so next monday we will see nvst  there okay so global health tattoo chef a wish  

bubble biotech nano dimension course your gaming  because you're going to have a bad news yesterday

so those are collected about  1256 dollars of premium  

very good there okay so the fourth strategy that  i'm using i've just started out this one as well  

just like the leap call options as they call the  bull put spread okay this is boop and i'm doing  

it on a weekly basis because the fluctuation of  weekly is not as uh big as monthly okay and so  

money i have already other strategies going on and  this one just starting out so just a very small  

entry every week okay so who are the companies  that i did on for for this month facebook tesla  

and microsoft okay you realize that the stocks  that i enter for my real strategy those output  

and sell cover costs are not are pretty small caps  okay but if you look at the the strategy that i'm  

doing on weekly it's all on the big caps there's  a reason behind this uh the main reason is because  

actually more people are buying options for this  company because they are expensive and instead  

of buying the real stock they usually trade on  options so the liquidity is there there's always  

a good amount of people that are actually hoping  the stock to go up they will buy the call options  

and there's another group of people who wanted to  start to go down and they will buy the put options  

okay so what i did was okay what actually this was  meant to actually sell put just sell put on a very  

a price that you think it will not reach by the  end of friday because the time decay is going to  

be really really on your size just five trading  days monday tuesday wednesday thursday friday  

and and if you put far enough you can actually  get the premium but the premium will be small  

because you put it sell put far enough okay so and  why i did a voopoo spray instead of just output  

is because i don't have enough margin look at all  these three stocks tesla is 800 plus now facebook  

300 plus and uh microsoft is almost like a hundred  plus so so it's like for them it's really it's 200  

i mean yeah so so it's like the amount of margin  that you are required to to just sell put a loan  

it's very high and i don't have that much in  my account it's not big if you want to know  

my account size to get all these premiums you  can actually put down in the comment sections  

uh if there's enough comment then probably i will  just review a bit okay but if you look through  

all my videos you roughly know how much actually i  put in as well okay so so that is the the bull put  

spread so i did a few trades on facebook mostly on  tesla because the unemployability is good and one  

trade on microsoft okay so i collected about 315  premiums i think only on two weeks period so i'm  

going to do this next week every week i'm going  to do it but there is a regional okay so by doing  

the appropriate spread what happens if the stock  price really goes below the price then you already  

put it far out you know you put it very very very  far away for example tesla i probably put about  

700 plus i put 600 plus okay so it's like almost  100 to 200 away from the current price but what if  

tesla goes there okay tesla goes there uh you will  suffer big losses so this strategy is using a very  

um a big amount you're putting yourself  at very high rates in terms of the amount  

loss and um you're going for a very little  premium okay so but the probability of it you  

know winning this trade is very high it's almost  above 90 99 so but just in case a black swan  

event occur you know then um you have to react  very fast and that's why weekly for weekly uh  

this type of pool puts red or self put on a weekly  to get a small premium you really have to sort of  

monitor every day okay you cannot just just like  how i did for my self put i just sell put on  

real strategy and then i just i can even look at  towards the end of the one months later so we'll  

put spread you have to be very sort of on the ball  you have to monitor it constantly and i collected  

about 315 dollars from this book put spread okay  i will actually uh explain a bit more straight on  

all the strategies i'd use in a separate video  next time probably do a more educational one so  

that you guys can actually benefit from it but for  for this video it's purely really updating of my  

um what i've been accomplished over this one month  okay so in summary i have collected a grand total  

about 5 352 dollars and uh that's more than seven  thousand six dollars is so much higher than my  

own pay but can i retire uh no because uh this  trade i only started these options a few months  

and this is actually the all-time high next  month will not be so high i don't know it's  

always usually about two three thousand usd but  this month is exceptional because with the help of  

uh the leap call and the blue push thread that  i just added in into the my strategies then they  

actually boost the figure to 5352 usd okay  so so number one how can we just go through  

one two three four again okay you can actually  just see it from the slides so the best strategy  

i mean the strategy that gave me the most amount  of money is actually sell put options okay that's  

because i have some cash on the sideline but i  know actually most of my cash i already sort of  

i bought the stocks you know even mvsd i'm  going to buy it and i did some leaked calls  

and i bought some stocks as well so uh  the cash proportion part is reducing  

so probably i have to rely more on a covered  call and a bit of this output next month  

and i hope my lead call uh patented carnival ccxi  will materialize in november if not i can just  

wait for december instead okay so if i close  them and if i close any of my lead positions  

then it's probably i have to update on the  following month okay so boo boo spread just  

starting out uh trying it hope it can work it's  working now but i hope the black swan event don't  

appear so soon okay okay so here's the promise  that i made so when i go high to long yesterday  

i saw that they actually offered black fruitiness  rice as the dessert okay so that's on this side  

and black gratin rice rice with the coconut  milk on top oh it's actually a very nice dessert  

in singapore you can find okay so and what do they  have they also give us a velena ice cream okay so  

if you mix them that's what i did on the left  side you get glutinous rice a black goodness rice  

and coconut with vanilla ice cream and this is  a very very nice dessert okay it's actually so  

in some of the restaurant and the dessert stores  in singapore and they're selling like about  

five to seven dollars for it okay if you go high  t low you do your mix yourself it's part of the  

the four dollars uh the the package that you  actually bought for all the sources or the these  

are the fruits that will just cost four dollars  for the whole package and this is just one of it  

okay so that's the one of the high delay uh hacks  that i've discovered myself i think nobody shared  

this so this is the probably you can try it  next time when you go hide it in singapore
