wondering how we got here well it all

started with a rowboat this day just

like so many started with a passing

thought what if i tried to raid a farf

on a rowboat a simple idea given both in

a split second but his execution would
[16]
take many hours though there's one thing
[18]
i learned while trying to live off of a
[20]
rowboat and said unexpected things can
[21]
happen so having another person with me
[23]
as a sort of insurance was kind of
[24]
necessary that person however did not
[26]
know what they signed up to help me with
[28]
you know the ship is sinking right yeah

is that intentional where we are going

we're not gonna need the ship you see

that fine vessel over there brandon

that's our ship for the day oh boy this

is gonna be miserable it's gonna be

great let us embark on an epic adventure

much like many of you brandon did not

believe in my plan immediately but that

was going to change we loaded up our

pockets at the outpost before setting

sail i mean before rowing away to our

first destination we would need to

collect a number of items before being
[58]
able to tackle off off a bunch of food

to keep ourselves alive firebombs to

take out the waves that disney sticks to

take out the bosses and supply crates to

carry most of these things in the first

place at that point i had not yet told

brandon that our goal was to take on a

thoth at all he was under the impression

that we're just trying to collect some

items for a scavenger hunt but the fact

that this would be a lot more difficult

than expected immediately became

apparent as we were discussing our plans

for the day i really think once we get a

storage crate we only need like maybe

two or three islands yeah

with the barrel like they should they do

they literally they spawn hunched over

so you know they're picking up the

barrels you don't immediately swing at

down because of our own stupidity we are

not allowed to use our ship in order to

find a new row boat i was fully

expecting us to have to go for a swim as

i returned from the ferry of the damned

just to find us having returned to

smuggler's bay this was a horrible omen

i was afraid we were immediately using

up all of our luck at the start of our

voyage and with a long day ahead of us

that could only mean trouble the good

thing was that the only world event on

the horizon was a fleet meaning chances

of a far spawning by the time we were
[138]
ready to take it on were pretty decent

we found a cannon row boat to replace

our b-top vessel and even began

collecting some loot before leaving

smuggle's bay to head for salty sands a

fireworks crate would not prove to be
[148]
useful for our challenge but the first

disney stick of our collection

definitely would and of course we picked
[153]
up every quest we could find one of

which ironically sent us to the exact
[156]
island that we were on not every piece
[158]
of loot you dig up is necessarily going

to wow you but there were a few valuable
[162]
items among them that i was surprised to

find off of a message on a bottle living
[166]
off of a rowboat truly feels like you're
[167]
a bit of a vulture taking every
[169]
opportunity you can find to add things
[171]
and stuff to your collection and
[172]
sometimes that attitude is being
[174]
rewarded with coveted items such as the

chest of sorrows this is another reason
[178]
why row boats are simply better than
[179]
ships that chest could easily sink any
[182]
sliced vessel when left unattended but
[184]
it had absolutely no impact on ours
[185]
though there was something to consider

when it came to traveling far distances

with these items man you know i didn't

think about what

that's going to be really annoying

maybe the chest of sorrows can make

friends with the chest of a thousand

man that constant sobbing better become

white noise soon because it was

certainly very annoying to have to

listen to it and i'm not sure if that

makes us lucky or unfortunate but we dug

up two more of these suckers when we

arrived at pikaroon poems among many

other things because we actually had two

treasure maps for that island and

speaking of being lucky i made it but i

don't know if i want to do that again

are the chances yeah at that point i was

convinced that retribution was going to

lucky without trying to screw us over at

a later time but since we'd have no way

to effect it anyway we decided to just

continue on our journey lone cove was

the island that we finally found a

storage crate on sorry did i say a

storage crate we found two of them

almost right next to each other we spent

the night hunting the wildlife to enter

a pile of food and intended to cook it

at the neighboring fort peaceful as our

lives have been so far we spotted two

ships just one island over and once

again us not having a mask sticking out

over the horizon meant that we were

basically invisible to them we continue

to complete the myriad of quest that we
[267]
found on our journey already and with

every task completed our pile of loot

continued to grow the royal crest

fortress was our next destination one

which we had a lot of experience with

already it was then that we learned

we're not only invisible to other

pirates but also to the phantoms no

shots were taken at us and you know that

i was starting to feel really smug about

my rowboating plan working out though

let's not forget one important thing it

is the moments of impending triumph that

rare often responds with disaster the

good thing too is that if there's no

ship here they have no reason to assume

anyone's doing it so exactly

no longer feeling safe around here so

swiftly as we could every barrel had to

be emptied for us to have enough

supplies to take on a farth but we also

had to cook a lot of the food we

harvested prior obviously the four stove

burner at the fort would allow us to

cook it a lot faster than on a campfire
[375]
but the looming threat of a ventral
[377]
pirate still made it feel like it took
[378]
an eternity we left as soon as humanly
[380]
possible with an approaching storm

covering our escape but there was still
[384]
a few items to check off before we could
[385]
take on a farf it is worth mentioning

that the fleet was still the only world
[389]
event on the seas which was a bit
[390]
worrying but the show must go on so our
[392]
next destination was the treasury of the
[394]
secret worlds there are no better places
[396]
to grab a bunch of disney sticks and
[398]
treasuries and since i've never cleared
[400]
the thoth with a zero death playstyle
[402]
i'd want to get as many of them as
[403]
possible for me to be able to stay away
[404]
from the bosses speaking of zero deaths
[407]
ironically i managed to die inside the
[408]
treasury in an attempt to ignore the
[410]
skeletons while stealing more tridents
[412]
thankfully i learned that you spawned
[413]
back inside the darn thing so that
[414]
wasn't anything to worry about unlike
[416]
that sloop which was conspicuously
[418]
parked just one island away from us with
[420]
the disney sticks collected we had
[421]
secured everything we needed to take on
[423]
our ultimate challenge which meant that

i finally had to come clean i'm gonna
[427]
have to level with you brandon what's up

this is not a scavenger hunt our goal

is to raid a photo fortune on a robot

as you can see

there is no photo fortune so we need to

come up with another idea

i need this fleet to despawn and afford

if it's just a regular ford anything

just something we can clear yeah this

grand idea was falling apart in a hurry

in light of the fact that there were no

active forts to target we decided to

spend some time at traitor's fate

fortress as we gave rare another chance

to bestow such luck upon us and let's

just say that we've had a lot of time to

kill so much time in fact that i want to

take all the loot we collected off the

row boat just to take a look at what we

achieved so far what happened next is

something that you would not believe had

happened if it wasn't for the fact that

i brought proof

oh nice this was as good a sign as i

the amount of ancient skellies i've seen

in my time on the seas but seeing two of

them during the same voyage yeah we had

expended our luck and rare was trying to

send us a message we rode away from the
[515]
fort stole the ship don't worry about it
[517]
donated our loot and hopped onto the
[519]
next ocean for a better shot at the fort
[521]
of fortune being the stupid idiot that i
[523]
am i forgot that items do not carry over
[525]
to the portal so everything we could
[527]
stuff into our barrels was gone but no
[529]
matter we finally had an active fort or
[531]
fortune to target meaning this was gonna
[532]
be as good as it gets disney sticks are
[534]
not we followed the common strategy of
[536]
going about clearing a fov which is
[538]
setting the skelly's on fire and playing
[539]
ring around the rosie until set fire
[541]
takes care of him there were a couple
[543]
very dicey moments that made me feel
[544]
like this challenge will finally find
[546]
its end but the two of us were a lot
[547]
more resilient than anticipated and our
[549]
logic seemed to hold water without a
[551]
ship station at the forge nobody had
[552]
reason to believe that anyone was
[554]
actively trying to clear it and since it
[556]
is so incredibly tedious to do that in
[557]
the first place chances of somebody
[559]
rolling up on us to clear it themselves
[561]
were slim though there was one sloop
[563]
that came dangerously close as it was
[564]
fighting not only a scaly ship but also
[566]
the stationary cannons that are fort we
[568]
used an opportunity to take a breather
[570]
and just watch the fight from afar
[572]
because one of the captains had got
[573]
himself stuck under some stairs no the
[575]
next thing that happened and i kid you
[576]
not i couldn't make this up if i tried
[578]
no you know what just see for yourself

oh the blunder captain right here

there's another ancient skeleton

oh my god what is happening

that's a three we've had three of them

already yeah i don't know if rare

secretly upped the spawn right of these

things or what but i was in absolute

disbelief over having run into a third

ancient skeleton during this project but

there was no time to celebrate because

we had bullet sponges to take care of
[606]
now it is worth mentioning that neither

the fought nor the fotd are difficult to
[610]
clear per se they're just tedious the
[612]
only challenge was the fact that we came
[614]
here without a ship and trying to avoid
[616]
getting pved out of our minds while we
[617]
were on our sixth consecutive hour of
[619]
sailing without being able to respawn
[621]
the only truly difficult wave in this
[623]
encounter was the duchess who brought
[624]
not only an army of skeletons but can
[626]
also easily one shot you if you dare get
[628]
too close which made it ever the more
[630]
convenient that red decided to collect
[631]
their debt of ancient skeleton luck by
[633]
disconnecting brandon hey you know what
[635]
else is unlucky two brilliant is rolling
[637]
up just after brandon got eaten into the
[639]
shadow realm thankfully one of them had
[640]
sunk the other but it became very
[642]
apparent very quickly that the winner of
[644]
that battle was one of the paranoid
[646]
variety who constantly checked the
[647]
horizon but paranoid does not
[649]
necessarily mean smart so brandon let
[651]
them sink our empty vessel while he was
[653]
hiding in another cannon tower further
[654]
exemplifying their lack of intelligence
[656]
was them anchoring with their sails down
[658]
and leaving their ship you know darn

well that this was not an opportunity we

let's slip away

wasn't about to try and take them on

myself because i didn't need to the fort

had taken care of that for me and all i

had to do was deny the resurrection now

i know we said part of the rule set was

not being allowed to use our ship for

transport unless we get rared but after

having heard that guy's toxic garbage my

prime directive changed this was no
[733]
longer about raiding a f off this was
[736]
about teaching these guys a lesson

our situation required a calculated
[741]
approach only one of them was left on
[743]
the ford and he was currently busy
[744]
trying to save their loot from sinking
[746]
it was very and i mean very tempting to
[748]
blow up the kegs right next to him but
[750]
we needed to think of a bigger picture
[751]
surely they will be dumb enough to park
[753]
their ship right next to the loot
[754]
allowing me to strike but their
[756]
stupidity knew absolutely no bounce and
[759]
yeah they harpoon kicked themselves i
[760]
wasn't gonna miss out on the opportunity
[762]
to blow up the other guy with the
[763]
remaining kegs before starting to go on
[765]
the offensive these guys were under all
[766]
sorts of pressure as they had to repair
[768]
their ship and stop me from boarding all
[769]
the while the fort continued to lay into
[771]
them i was more of a distraction than
[773]
anything else but you can be sure i took
[775]
the opportunity to continue taunting
[776]
them every time i took them out the more
[778]
angry they got the worse their decisions
[780]
brandon eventually arrived and with our
[782]
powers combined we could put the final
[784]
nail in the coffin a second sink of
[785]
their vessel without us even using our
[787]
ship this time we were ready for the
[789]
back spawn as well with me enjoying
[791]
every single opportunity in which i
[792]
could send them back to the fairy of the
[794]
damned now here's something you guys

might hate to see me do but let me just

make one thing very clear i do not care
[800]
about the money i went out of my way to
[802]
take the stuff they tried to save and
[804]
drop it back into the water so that it
[806]
would despawn we were here for the
[807]
challenge and experience of it not to
[809]
try and get rich so anything we could do
[811]
to piss them off was very much up our
[813]
alley the annoying thing was that they
[814]
didn't know when to give up we didn't
[816]
even get to finish the boss wave before
[818]
they came back but you can rest assured
[819]
knowing that they were thoroughly tilted
[821]
as they continued to make extremely bad
[823]
decisions but no matter how often we
[825]
sunk them they just kept coming back and
[827]
at one point it wasn't them who took us
[829]
out but the overwhelming pve forced off
[831]
the farth as we tried to fight them
[833]
again we were definitely not proud of
[834]
that one but back to the fort we went
[836]
continuing their streak of bad decisions
[838]
they ran their ship into the island as i
[840]
did the same thing i've done before
[841]
trying to be a really annoying
[842]
distraction while the fort was sinking
[844]
them but i should have been a bit more
[845]
careful because the sword storm ended up
[847]
slicing me to bits of course brandon
[849]
finished the job for me which gave me a
[850]
chance to have a bit of a chat with
[851]
these lads on the ferry of
[855]
you explain us adams are why

couldn't you agree with your losers and
[860]
why didn't you
[863]
why are you so toxic huh why are you so
[866]
angry at a video game explain you can
[868]
tell somebody's angry when they can't

stop themselves from cursing in their

mother tongue but one thing became very

clear this guy was delusional enough to

believe that sinking time and time again

without us even using our ships still

somehow made him the victor of our

little war of attrition whatever the

case may be we would not let these guys

win they thought themselves witty when

they decided to stop coming at us

instead setting a couple islands away

obviously they were waiting for us to
[891]
finish the pve so they could come back

and steal the loot but there was one
[894]
thing they didn't consider we do not
[896]
care about the money if getting sunk had
[898]
pissed him off and his salute sinking
[900]
made it worse then we knew exactly what
[902]
we had to do in order to make him pop a
[904]
vessel we completed the fort snatched
[907]
the key and decided to drop it into the
[909]
ocean that had expectedly been
[911]
tucking on us but as if he hadn't proven
[912]
his stupidity yet he blew himself up
[915]
with a keg marking his last chance to
[916]
stop us mana was hoping his eyes were
[918]
glued to the map as he watched us
[920]
approach the edge of the sea and in the
[922]
spirit of the original challenge that
[923]
led us here brandon and i decided to
[925]
roll the thing into the red sea until we
[927]
could row it no longer and then we took
[929]
it to swim even further just to really
[931]
make sure nobody could retrieve it
[933]
because if there's one thing that's more
[934]
important to us than gold and glory it's
[936]
making sure that sword losers like that
[938]
guy continue to take else speaking of
