MORGAN STANLEY: NIO SHORT ATTACK [URGENT NIO STOCK ALERT!] - YouTube

felix here and we're talking in nio guys there  is something brewing about nio short interest is  

rising substantially and i will show you all about  that as always guys this is not financial advices  

just for entertainment only please always bear  that in mind and where do you think this story  

comes from well this story actually comes from  one our patreon community our discord community

today probably about 10 hours ago or so you  could have had the news 10 hours sooner and

you that at the end as well so morgan stanley is  basically saying that investors are betting hard  

against nio in particular and why do morgan  stanley care well morgan stanley owned 5.3 million  

shares of nio that was worth about 260 million us  dollars as of their last filing so they do have a  

fairly uh you know serious interest in this  stock even for them a quarter of a billion  

is not jump change what's the actual  short interest and what is it going to do  

what is it going to affect well you can see  this chart here um you can see let me grab a pen  

there we go you can see that we are seeing a  substantial increase and i first was talking about  

that i think around march time if you follow me  you have seen me watch this now what's the concern  

with this well the concern of course is that we  are going to go back up to these levels that we  

are out of them in january now at the moment we  are sitting around 27 or so short in volume ratio  

and it's that high yes that's really high most  stocks are substantially below 10 10 to 20  

percent is high anything above 20 percent is sort  of crazy territory so we are kind of in that crazy  

territory again though we have been higher now  what happened in the beginning of january when  

we hit those uh mid high 30s well let's have  a look at what the price chart did then in mid  

january uh and then until the 10th of february  let's just look at this again here that's when we  

saw our decline so uh basically the they pressured  the success out of the rally that the last bit of  

rally that we had here in january that was  the last stand really and then after that  

the sideways motion and that motion was to some  extent caused by substantial short interest and  

of course also somewhat the entire market now you  can also see that here from market beat that short  

interest by the way gets reported two times a week  by the stock exchange typically the big the middle  

and at the end of each month you can look up the  dates on on whatever exchange you're trading at  

and we can see that in the middle of march here we  had a modest increase seven percent or so and then  

now the end of march the last reporting day we had  a 26 increase and that's very very substantial i'm  

not starting to smell like what was brewing at the  end of december last year which is really when you  

know we went up into the sky there and yes the  stock managed to get through that for some time  

but eventually it did help crush our rally so it's  a really important thing to keep an eye on and  

it's kind of odd really if you think that actually  the stock price is sort of trading sideways let me  

move that chart a little bit over here you can  see we're moving sideways and you can see that  

i'm hoping for a triple dip here now the third  one isn't actually a dip yet because we haven't  

veed back up now the triple dips like  we've seen them over here in december  

you know the the uh what i'm circling here that  was a triple dip because we dipped once we dipped  

twice we dipped three times and then went up and  each time with a slightly higher low for each tip  

and that is what reverses a a uh a trend and the  trend was the sell-off here that was the trend  

it reversed that very nicely it gave us a new  rally and then now we had obviously the sell-off  

we have one dip a second dip slightly higher  and then the third one potentially a third bit  

for that we do need to get a couple of green days  under our belt so that we can actually call this  

a triple dip and triple dips it are always  an indicator if they are in this direction  

of a reversal trend so you would therefore  see expect to see things to move around but  

i would never trade on a technical pattern that  hasn't completed yet and this one hasn't completed  

yet it is still it could be sliding further south  in which case we don't have a triple tip we had  

a double dip and then a sell-off so wait for that  dip before you even consider doing anything about
