Thank you for coming to my page I am Vince Gaddis that Health Insurance Guy
[4]
and if you don't know about my story and me I'm going to give you a little bit of
[9]
information about myself and where I come from and the reason why I got into Health Insurance
[14]
First, off I am a life and health insurance broker I've been a
[17]
life insurance broker for over 12 years been doing this very long time
[21]
the reason why I got into this industry is because my mother had a stroke at 40
[25]
YEAH
[26]
40 years old
[27]
That's something that my family and I
[29]
could have never imagined happening because she was such an independent
[33]
woman she did everything on her own and for her family members or anybody coming
[37]
in and do anything for her I know that had to be a life-changing event besides her having a stroke
[42]
and also what sets me apart
[44]
from being just a regular agent
[46]
I am living this myself I'm the oldest of five I know how it feels to deal with
[52]
Social Security because they denied my mother Social Security for three years
[56]
and after that three years they gave her about five grand because we had to pay
[60]
the lawyer and she was left with seven hundred and fifty dollars which is a
[64]
monthly Social Security disability benefit from that happening you know it
[70]
basically put a lot of tension within the family because you know we were
[75]
uneducated and I'm prepared for something like that to happen to us
[79]
which created family conflicts because of lack of money you know people say
[83]
money is the root of all evil the lack of money is the root of all evil and I am living that
[90]
Also....when things like this happen you know you and
[93]
someone is still alive because when people talk about life insurance they
[96]
talk about somebody just dying but when someone is still alive they don't just
[102]
lose you know their job they lose their ABILITY to earn an income they lose
[107]
their ability in earning income and she lost her ability to earn an income
[111]
and...it affected us greatly and you know recently my sister just had a stroke at
[118]
32 so for something like this to happen for myself is very emotional but besides
[125]
it being very emotional I never wanted that to happen to me so someone came to
[130]
my home there was door knocking they
[132]
were for Primerica that was where I got my
[134]
start at, but Primerica did not serve the type of policies that I wanted to market
[141]
because I took upon this myself because my mother was a hard-working woman
[146]
she worked
[147]
she was a part of the Union
[148]
and...
[149]
she thought she had what she had but
[153]
didn't have what she needed
[156]
and it cost her a lot and our family was the ones
[161]
that suffered because she didn't have what she needed and it's been a crusade
[166]
for me to educate people especially people of color about insurance in
[171]
general because there are many different types of insurance policies and plans
[175]
are available you have return of premium term policies meaning that after
[180]
the term is over with you would get back all the money that you put
[184]
into that life insurance policy,
[187]
you also have stroke insurance this policy's just for
[192]
stroke it's policies just for heart attack it's policies just for cancer you
[195]
can add that as a rider but we're gonna talk about that later on down the line
[198]
you have accidental policies if you got into an accident they only pay on just accident
[204]
income protection where they're are going to cover your paycheck
[208]
disability insurance Final expense insurance where they're going to pay for
[213]
the final expenses in indexed universal life policies it's a lot of different
[220]
insurance that are out there and when you say you got it covered don't put it
[225]
in your jobs hands to cover your family because that's what my mother did she
[230]
did the same thing she put it in her jobs hand and she thought she had what
[234]
she had but didn't have what she needed because she never sat down with someone
[237]
to just get a second look you don't have to get a policy through me at all just
[242]
get a second look because you not getting that second look could cause
[247]
your daughter to come back from college to take care of you for her to stop her
[251]
life to take care of you to create discourse within your family to take care
[255]
of you and believe when I say is that then line between love and hate
[258]
it is it then line between love and hate because you might love
[262]
your loved one but you're gonna hate the situation that they put you in because
[267]
you have to somewhat somehow create some sort of miracle to take care of them and
[272]
this is a responsibility that can last for the rest of your life or their life
[277]
because it won't change so I want to provide as much education on this page
[283]
as possible so again this is Vince Geddes to health insurance Guide my
