The government passed a budget of 10 billion dollars for boosting this industry

so, what is this semiconductor & why govt. & all companies are serious about it.

first of all, let's know what is semiconductor?

because if we invest money & not know everything then it is senseless

just like when we start a business & understand all things about it.

for knowing the semiconductor we have to go through the science

you already know till now there are 118 elements were searched

like gold, silver, aluminum, zinc

some of them are electrical conductors.

& some are insulator

means, they don't pass the current through them.

but apart from these some elements show both insulative & conductive properties.

& we call them semiconductors.

like Silicon, Germanium, selenium, etc.

Semiconductors are used in diodes, integrated circuits, transistors, etc.

mostly in every electronic device, it is used as a chip.

this chip is used in mobile, car, etc.

you can call it a smart electronic device in easy language.

you can also call it the brain of devices because without it they can't perform

today, the valuation of semiconductor industry is around 24 billion dollars.

& expected valuation by 2025 is 100 billion dollars which is a massive growth.

after covid, there is a huge demand for electronic devices.

due to which we saw the shortage of semiconductors all over the world

in our country, the reason for shortage of chips is lockdown

& due to international borders were closed therefore chips were not imported.

Reports say that semiconductors chip consumption is increasing by 15% in India.

so one side, there is a lack of availability & also lack of import

that's the reason this problem is getting bigger

In 2020, India spent about 1,130 billion INR on the import of electronics

37% of the import came from China only.

now, if 5G technology will come then consumption of chips will also increase

so we should not depend on import that's why the govt. & companies decided that they will produce the chips in our country

that's why India's Semiconductor Mission is launched.

the special thing of mission is

for increasing in manufacture of semiconductor the govt. took 2 steps

steps are late but it is fine

The govt. has approved the incentive scheme of 76 thousand crores for making the chips.

it is believed that it is a big step towards making our country self-dependent for semiconductors.

in this scheme the govt. will provide many incentives

The govt. give 25% subsidy of the cost for set up of semiconductor wapper fabric unit.

The govt. also motivates them for establishing, shipping, packaging, etc.

for this, govt. joins with states for making high tech clusters

because Semiconductors chip manufacturing plant uses water, high quality electricity & land is required.

The govt. passed the budget of 3,285 crores

Govt. will use this fund in next 8 years for growth in the industry.

Tata's name is at first in this industry

Tata Group is ready to set up the assembling plant of semiconductors

they can invest 2250 crores in it.

from the news, Tata group is talking to Tamil Nadu, Karnataka & Telangana state.

you will see soon that Tata will work in it.

after the Tata Group, Vedanta is also planning to invest 60,000 crores in semiconductor industry

but, it is not that easy to grow the semiconductor industry because there are many challenges.

in this opportunity, we will see challenges in brief.

first is a high investment required, because it is just started

& the scheme by govt. is not enough

The second is Lack of Fab Capacities, ISRO & DRDO are the only organizations which makes semiconductor chips.

but they make it only for their use.

there is no lack of talent, it takes time but things will come nicely.

next challenge is Resource Inefficient Sector

Even if the government invested in it, there is a need of many resources for making the chips.

like its plant consumes millions of litres of water, high quality electricity, & it needs well trained workers.

so, these are the main challenges for this mission

now, let's, move on to that stocks that people thinks they can come into this industry

there is much confusion

we will show you a real picture that which company can come and which is not.

because in this matter operator can also play the game.

in this list first name is Tata Elxsi

because Tata Group was officially announced that they will invest in semiconductors

till now, many trusted media houses have written articles on it.

by this, it is clear that Tata Elxsi can come into the semiconductor field.

if Tata Elxsi will not come then other subsidiary company will come but definitely, they will come in this field.

The second name is vedanta limited

They are planning to invest 60,000 crores in the next 3 years

Vedanta Limited is subsidiary company of Vedanta Resources. It is a leading company at the global level for diversify resources

it operates in India, South Africa, Namibia.

It is a mining company that mines gold, iron, aluminum

but time will show that how they will enter in this field

now we move onto two more companies

there are gossips in the market

that they are working in semiconductors

& can come further

there are some penny stocks in that

penny stocks means full of risks

where it can change in which second we can't say

but our work is to inform you then i will talk about them also

The first name is Moschip, it started in 1999

the company's website shows it is first fabless semiconductor company in India.

Fabless means the company is dependent on other companies for their production.

means they don't manufacture 100%

they are working in two segments

First is semiconductors & second is Embedded system design & IOT engineering

in semiconductor segment, the company offers semiconductor IP, semiconductor design services.

in Embedded system segment, the company offers system design, embedded software & IOT products.

if we talk about their revenue break up, in financial year 2021

revenue from semiconductor product & services is 86%

& 14% from Embedded service.

58% of the revenue of company comes from foreign

& 42% comes from India.

now come to the second stock

which is SPEL semiconductor limited

SPEL is the company to provide packaging solutions & first in assembly & test facility in the country

as per the official website

although company provides majorily full trunky solution

in which includes wafer sort, assembly, test & drop shipment services.

it also provides packaging solution for semiconductors

here, you can see that

summary is, it is a penny stock

where the ground reality isn't cleared.

only based on its official website

if you see there is no media article, there is no media coverage, we searched official but there is no news about it.

but as we see Vedanta & Tata, they have a clear cut vision

because it needs high investment, how penny stocks can invest?

there is a need for a strong party.

here these are the things we have to watch carefully.

overall, we can say that there is no company that manufactures semiconductors in a proper way in stock market.

here, you should understand that proper way is an important word.

because if things are not cleared then operators make profit from it.

they use techniques like pump & dump.

so, please understand it.

put your eye on Tata & Vedanta groups. it is a secured option

because Tata is already working on EV's ecosystem.

because if they make semiconductors it will be a boon for them.

& after that boon, no one can compete with the tata group.

because they are going this way they become stronger.
