economic headlines of the world.

Starting off here in the U S we have
Goldman Sachs getting into the buy.

Now pay later game acquiring from
green sky for two and a quarter

billion dollars. It's an all
stock deal. Just the latest from,

to get into the buy.

Now pay later movement really in finance.

Let's talk about why B N P L is sort of
[51]
a really revolutionary idea across the
[55]
chain of commerce. Well,
[58]
folks have been buying with
credit now paying later for years,
[62]
it's not a new concept, but what
does it mean in terms of inventory,
[66]
in terms of sales,
[67]
how does it affect the entire
chain of the purchase process in a
[72]
traditional system? Let's
say you swipe a visa card.

Visa is really just
giving you a cash advance.

The bank doesn't know what you're buying.
[80]
The merchant knows what
you're buying the producer.

Doesn't really know what you're buying.

It's really just one part
of a transaction in buy.

Now pay later everyone across the chain,

since the finances is going
upstream to the retailer,

to the manufacturer, everyone
knows exactly what you're buying.

Everybody knows where
the product trends are.

That's faster information going back up.

That means that perhaps with a buy now
pay later scheme on specific items,

you can encourage specific sales.

It's really about transmitting
more data across the

supply chain. Getting more
information about what consumers want,

how they're buying. That is the big
moneymaker in buying out pay later.

So it really is beginning to be
a really interesting concept for

adding value to producers
through adding additional ways

of financing purchases overnight in China.

This is why we are fairly selective
about international stocks,

huge losses in Macau gaming companies,

as their licenses are
getting renegotiated about

$18 billion,

just chopped off of in the market
caps of wind Macau of a number of
[158]
other Chinese gambling stocks,
[160]
China increasing regulation on
the gambling sector. Listen,

if you're going to invest in China,
one of the risks is, you know,
[170]
government risk it's regulatory risk.

It's just part of the nature of
the game does not look like the
[177]
government is being very friendly to
Chinese companies across the board.

You know, if you have some sectors that
haven't been touched yet, you know,

be mindful that, Hey, we, you know,

anytime the Chinese government gets
involved, you are looking for, you know,

somewhere between a 10 and 40%
haircut on the share price.

That is certainly a risk you have
to take when investing in China.

It's one of those things
where after that comes, if,

if let's say you have new leaders using
ping, eventually leaves office five,

10 years. We have a new leader who
is more of a free market guide. Boy,

there could be some values out there
as prices are just so low price

earnings ratios are so low. That
really becomes a, a value, uh, stock,

uh, Haven really last minute, at least

Walmart has a deal with Ford
and Argo AI to start delivering

in cities across the country.
They're going to start with three.
