video we're going to talk about ten of

the best real estate WordPress themes on

the market today and if you've got a

website that's currently running on
[10]
WordPress or if you're thinking about
[12]
building a new website we're just going
[14]
to cover some of the different features
[15]
and benefits that these different themes
[17]
have to offer and why you might want to
[19]
consider some of these options for your
[21]
website the ground okay so if you're a
[27]
small business owner there's a fair
[29]
chance you've got a website that may be
[31]
running out of WordPress and WordPress
[33]
is one of those options that's
[34]
relatively easy to work with as far as
[36]
website skill I wouldn't say it's
[38]
necessarily the easiest thing if you're
[40]
a beginner or if you have no website
[41]
experience but if you know even a little
[44]
bit about it WordPress is fairly easy to
[46]
work with and when it comes to WordPress

sites typically what people will do is

they will go out and they will find

either a free theme or they will go out
[55]
and pay money for a theme the nice thing

about a good wordpress theme is that if

you have no coding experience if you

have no idea what you're doing like me a

theme will fill in a lot of those gaps

and just give you a basic framework from

what you can then continue building your

website it'll sort of control like the

look and the feel and the font and the

color and just a layout a lot of

different things that would otherwise

take a lot of work to do if you didn't

have this theme to sort of get you to

that next step and as far as themes go

there's lots and lots of options out

there I want to come specifically to a

real estate website it's usually a good

idea to go ahead and just pay for a

premium theme and usually the cost we're

talking about is you know a hundred
[97]
dollars or less than that so it's not

crazy expensive considering what it can
[101]
do for you if you have no idea where to
[103]
find a good theme whether you're an
[105]
investor or an agent or a property
[108]
manager or a landlord or any of these
[110]
things and I think you're going to find
[111]
this video helpful because we're going
[112]
to talk about ten options up there and
[115]
they're definitely not the only options
[116]
but these are ten solid options that can
[119]
really take allow the guesswork out of
[120]
your design process and as I went up
[122]
searching for these themes I tried
[124]
really hard to only pick ones that had
[125]
very very high ratings and good reviews
[128]
so I think no matter what
[130]
choose from this list you're probably
[131]
going to have some pretty good luck and
[133]
a pretty good experience of it so let's

dive into it now I'll show you what I
[136]
found

all right so the first one on this list
[138]
is a theme from a company called
[140]
studiopress it's called agent press Pro
[143]
and I've actually worked with this theme
[146]
for a number of years now as you can see
[148]
here the price is 99.95 and the thing I
[150]
like about this theme is that I think we
[153]
call it a widget eyes layout so
[155]
basically in WordPress to have these
[157]
things called widgets and you can set
[159]
them in different places on your website
[161]
so for example this thing right here is
[163]
a widget if you didn't want this showing
[165]
on your website you could just remove it
[168]
completely and not have it be there you
[169]
didn't want this picture in the
[171]
background you could remove that as well
[172]
these things right here these are
[174]
widgets so if you wanted to you can
[176]
remove these and not have those there
[178]
this is a widget this is a widget over
[180]
here this is a widget as well so it's
[182]
just a really nice layout if you want to
[184]
pick and choose which one of these
[185]
elements to have show on your website

they've got this nice thing down here

where you can give a little bit of

information about yourself if you're an
[192]
investor or an agent and you want to

just explain more about your background

and your qualifications you can do that

nice little social media icons let's

take a look at one of these property

listings so we can see what those look
[203]
like

looks pretty nice I believe this one and
[205]
for that matter most of these themes
[206]
were going through have idx integration
[209]
which means basically have a live feed
[212]
to show certain properties from MLS
[215]
listings if you wanted to or you could
[216]
just skip that all together and just
[218]
post properties on here that are off the
[221]
MLS and you just have them privately on
[223]
this website if you wanted to this theme

has a few different color options if you
[226]
want it to be green for example I use
[228]
this theme on my buying website for land
[230]
in Green County goes well with lands so
[233]
that's the color that I've got going on

mine looks kind of like this with a land
[237]
picture in the background or you could
[239]
do gold or you can do red it's a pretty
[242]
nice option this is also a mobile
[244]
responsive theme so it's going to look
[245]
really good whether you're viewing it on
[247]
a desktop computer on an iPad or on your

mobile phone okay the next one on this
[251]
list is called agent focus - pro and

again this is also from studiopress and
[256]
this one it's actually somewhat similar
[259]
to agent pro just in terms of the look
[261]
and feel but it has an L
[263]
that make it look a little bit different
[264]
for example the feature listings kind of
[267]
give more prominence to the pictures so
[269]
if you've got really good high
[270]
resolution high quality picture those
[272]
are going to look great here well so not
[274]
that if you have like certain
[275]
communities or groups of properties
[277]
you're trying to advertise from what I
[279]
can see this one just sort of looks a
[281]
little bit more visually pleasing just

in terms of bigger pictures and a
[285]
greater focus on whatever images you
[287]
have uploaded to take a look at what
[289]
these listings look like here this is
[291]
what the pages look like when you are
[292]
highlighting a certain community for
[294]
example or if you wanted to list just a
[297]
specific property those listings look
[299]
like this with this big beautiful image
[300]
here up at the top so there's another
[302]
thing to keep in mind if you don't have
[304]
good high resolution images of your
[306]
properties then this might not be the
[308]
best thing for you because this sort of
[310]
capitalizes on beautiful imagery so if
[313]
you don't have that or if you can't
[314]
bring that to the table probably going
[316]
to do more of a disservice because it's
[318]
highlighting the lack of pictures or the
[320]
low quality of poor pictures that you
[322]
might have this one also has a nice
[324]
property map that integrates Google Maps
[326]
so that's kind of cool and again this
[328]
one is mobile responsive just like the
[330]
agent pro theme it also has idx
[332]
integration so you can list properties
[334]
directly from the MLS in terms of
[336]
customizing the theme you can add your
[339]
own unique logo and the colors you can
[341]
set to be pretty much whatever you want
[343]
them to be so those are kind of the
[345]
highlights of this theme all right I'm
[347]
moving on to the next one this theme is
[349]
called home Pro from template monster
[351]
and this one's 75 bucks if we take a
[354]
look at the demo this is kind of how it
[355]
looks again this one is also mobile
[357]
responsive as our pretty much all of
[359]
these themes this is another theme that
[361]
really makes a big deal out of whatever
[363]
images you upload so if you've got
[365]
really good high quality images say if
[367]
they're professionally taken or if you
[369]
just have images that are really high
[371]
resolution those can be very very ideal
[373]
for this type of website and again if
[375]
you don't then this might not be the
[377]
best thing for you because this kind of
[379]
capitalizes on those big beautiful
[381]
images assuming it
[382]
them I've got a pretty nice layout if we

take a look at one of these property

listings we can see more about how those

look pretty easy to navigate through

here and take a look at the different

pictures has a nice slider feature here

that looks pretty nice you can get a

good summary of each property and it's
[398]
all laid out really nicely with good

fonts we've got Google map integration

here at the bottom as well with a nice

big profile picture of the agent or
[405]
investor or whoever the salesperson is

phone numbers social media links all

that stuff so I thought this one was

just all-around good theme and again

just to give an idea for what this thing

looks like on a tablet this is kind of

how its spaced out or like this if it's
[420]
being viewed on a wide angle and I'm on

a mobile phone it looks like this as

well so pretty much any kind of device

you're looking at it's going to look

good so I thought this was a great theme

could definitely be worth checking out

we move on to the next screen here this

one is from Steam Forest

this one's called hometown and it looks
[438]
like this it's kind of nice slider
[440]
feature here at the top you can kind of
[442]
take a look at different properties that
[444]
way something I thought was really
[445]
interesting about this particular theme
[447]
is that you can actually use it for sort
[450]
of like a collaborative real estate
[452]
listing site so say if you are running a
[455]
real estate agency with several
[456]
different agents or several different
[458]
investors or salespeople or even if
[461]
you're running any kind of community
[462]
where other people are going to want to
[464]
participate in your website you can
[466]
actually open this up so that a lot of
[468]
people can add their own listings and
[470]
then return for that say if you've got
[472]
our website that has a lot of traffic or
[475]
it's going to get a lot of traffic you
[476]
can charge people to post their
[478]
properties on your website or you can
[480]
just let them do it for free it's kind
[481]
of up to you but I just thought that was
[482]
a really cool feature that I had never
[484]
really seen in a theme like this before

and so I got some really nice search
[488]
functionality if you want to get really
[490]
specific about the types of properties
[491]
you're looking for again this is what

the listing pages look like you can add

video if you want get a good look at the
[497]
images you can click on to see bigger

versions of images see all the

information down here that's all tabbed

out nicely map information contact form

pretty nice thing I was pretty

impressive

I haven't actually worked with this or

tried to use it myself in any capacity

so I don't know if it's like super
[513]
complicated to work with on the

again but just in terms of like the

basic bare-bones infrastructure it gives

you it looks like it can put out a

pretty nice end product so definitely

one worth checking out depending on what

your needs are next one on the list this

one is also from ThemeForest currently

at 59 bucks this one actually has a

bunch of different layouts you can use

say for example if you want it to have

one big beautiful image at the very top

of the website you can totally do that

with one of these options it's a pretty

nice inviting layout where you can just

click on this to see the listings right

off the bat here's another example of

what that could look like your more

listings like this we check out what

these listings look like this kind of

gives you an idea and again given the

huge placeholder that it gives us for

these images you're going to want to

make sure that you've got some good high

resolution pictures because if they're

low resolution or if they're not very

good

it's going to sort of bring down the

look and feel of your whole website so

definitely use this but be sure you've

got some great pictures to feature

because if not it could hurt more than a

helps one thing I notice about this one

is that in order to see all the

information you can't have to scroll

down a little ways so you have to do a

little bit of searching but again it

gives you a lot of options for including

a lot of details assuming people are

actually going to scroll down we want to

take a look at some of the other layouts

starts with a map at the very top so

really lots of flexibility with this

theme option if you want to get a high

quality theme but you're not quite sure

what the final look and feel should look

like on your website this might be a

good pick just because if you don't like

how one version of the site looks you

can always switch it to one of these

other ones pretty easily so the WP

one that's worth checking out moving on

and i thought this one was pretty cool

because the idea behind this theme is

only to be used to advertise a single

property so say for example if you've

got like a vacation rental home or a

single property that's going to be

advertised again and again on an ongoing

basis this could be a really good fit

for that and you can just get one URL

they just named it after the address of

your property or something like that and

you can just put all the information
[657]
about that property out here and it
[658]
allows you to either create a full
[660]
website like this with a navigation bar

or if you want you can just have it be a

one-page site so there's really nowhere

to go other than simply scrolling down

like this and it has all the information

about the property we stretch this out a

little bit it shows a little bit better

pretty nice ideal fit for anybody who's

trying to just put all the information

about one property out there and it's

just a really nice idea if you've got a

single property that means to get a lot

of air time and not get lost among

dozens of other listings you might have

on the market the next theme on this

list is another one that it's also built

to advertise a single property and this

one's pretty sure if it starts off with

his huge picture up at the top and you

look like looks like a pretty clean

design and laughs not terribly busy but

it's got enough information to just show

the home pro theme are built on what's

called the cherry framework which I

don't have a ton of experience with but

it looks like it's a pretty good lab and

it seems to work pretty well a few

similarities here between this one and

the home protein but all in all it's

it's pretty unique in and of itself and

has some really nice features that can

be used if we go back here to the home
